I'm sorry, what I meant was..
The best way to secure a win without killing the person.
Because otherwise they will keep fighting you.

I don't think the further clarification is needed. People don't die on gaia. Though I would like to learn to be a better grappler.

Mr. Crawley Well grappling... is the most effective way to fight or defeat someone.
If all you know is standup then if you fight a grappler you might as well put a sign on your a** that says "kick me."
I mean.. do I prefer to watch a standup fight? of course.. there is nothing more entertaining than a standing knockout.
Except for the fact that.. some people in the real world have hard heads and strong necks.
And EVERYONE on gaia has those.
The best way to actually secure a win is to put them in a hold and not let them go. I am aware. And this is why I'm trying to learn every type of fighting.

Best way to secure a win is to stab them somewhere soft.
Because if you're not fighting with weapons then you're either fighting out of desperation or for fun. If it's for fun then a standing exchange of blows is more fun to see and be a part of. If it's out of desperation then you'd have nothing against fighting dirty, hitting them with anything you can get your hands on, or anything like that; getting pinned isn't going to end the fight unless it's a KO chokehold.

Or a nice joint lock that they can't get out of.
For some people I'll break the arm.
For others I'll maintain the hold and force them to acknowledge their helplessness and my win.

Submission wrestling is easy to learn..
Just go download gracie jiu jitsu basics video set off limewire.
All you need to know are the basics. Which how to move from position a to position b.
It's just knowing how to move around in the usual positions.
Outside of that you can be creative as you want with isht.
Punch faces.. break arms.. legs.. do collar chokes... do what you want.
Oh and learning a few takedowns will help instill fear into your opponents.

I've got a few takedowns down. A couple are show-off ones that wouldn't work against an experienced fighter, and the others are pretty effective.

A lot of people don't understand the concept of "I'm breaking your _____. You can't pull your _____ out of the hold."
See: pretty much anyone I've grappled with.

Show them a picture.
That usually clears up all confusion.
"See that guy who look like he's agony? That's you."

Then they'll pull some log out of their a**.
Or be like Tomorrow and say that won't work.

I shouldn't be complaining. I find their desperate/nonsense responses totally ******** hilarious.
- Bent someone over from the side and had them in a hammerlock, while kneeing their face in. They said pulled their arm free and used some magic s**t.
- Had someone else in a figure four-ish headlock. Apparently their neck muscles are stronger than all the muscles in my character's arms and back.
- Suplexed someone from behind, by surprise. They froze the air and said I couldn't move.

That's why I dont fight magic users.
They can magic their way out of stuff.
Which is also why I think mofos need a CONDITION BASED moveset and a limited number of moves.
Cause otherwise they just get wild when desperate.
