The Haelstrom Fist All-right, given my opponent hasn't shown since pre-Round 2, but seems to have enough free time to participate in a "Halo RP" amongst other drivel & s**t, I decided to draw him towards fighting me the one way I could.

The semester starts in about a month for me, and I still need one more class.
I lost my spot in EMT for not paying on time. Dammit.

Not sure how anyone can miss payment deadlines. =( But I dunno, maybe I'm the only person who saves money for just in case situations lol.

Eh.. Being forced into hand to hand is agitating. At least I'm using everything Vince has to full potential.

Lollipop Fiend Not sure how anyone can miss payment deadlines. =( But I dunno, maybe I'm the only person who saves money for just in case situations lol. I'm only a seasonal worker. The bulk of my money comes in summer, when I teach swim lessons.
But every 48 hours after you register for a class, it'll drop you if you haven't paid yet. I just kept letting it drop me and re-registering. But apparently, the hour or so I was late to re-register, somebody nabbed my spot. I've just got to go petition it, see if they can take any more people, or see if someone drops.

The Art Institute. Finally a degree that I have a passion for. Not that I don't have one of Computer Science. Just, I want to see how it is on the Art side of things. In school my entire life with an art class each grade and I go to college to pursue a Computer Science degree. The hell?
Well, for those who want to know, I picked up Computer Science in tenth grade cause I wanted to make my own video games. I went to the library and online and pretty much just sat there, studying up on C++, C, Java, and BASIC. I started to make small programs and became more in tune with it. Then I realized that you can make a good career out of Computer programming, while art is competitive. Since I was a computer guru alongside being an artist, I chose the wiser of the two.
Then I go to college. My first choice was the Art Institute, but I had my counselor convince me to go to a University. I went there for a while, but I felt...empty. For some reason, I didn't think I was doing something that I enjoy. I loved the more colorful world of art than the digital world of computers. Heck, a lot of my friends were art degree students. So, I decided to make this leap and take a break from my Comp Sci degree to go for a Fine Arts degree in Media Arts & Animation. Though I'm scared of the complexities I'm going to run into when I get to using 3D animation stuff, generally I feel happy.

Having dabbled into 3D Animation in a variety of ways, I can tell you now: the "complexity" of shapes will fade as you progress. Things you think would be difficult to create and render out, once you get into thinking of them broken down into basic shapes, will become far easier.
The trick down the road is creating/using the right textures, the proper lighting, the right format and codecs when you render it all out, positioning, not having too many faces on the model while still getting across a good level of detail - etc.
I'm still considering taking it up again and pursuing it. I can't draw worth a damn with my hands and a pencil alone - but if I say so myself, things like web design and 3D Animation, I pick up easy. I'm in that "what should I pursue long-term" limbo right now though.
