It is in this time that the village will need guarding the most. They have defenses but admitedly they are getting weaker. They have no true form of warrior, hence, I beleive, one of their reasons for seeking peace.

~*~At the academy~*~

::Buki stood and walked to the window, looking out onto the grounds for a moment before turning back to the students::

The aims of this class are to teach you team work, discipline, and survival skills. I do not baby my students, I allow them to discover things on their own, but they must realize that they will reap the consequences of their own actions, and sometimes that of their teammates. Is this understood?

~*~Desert town~*~

Oni-aisu leaned back and watched as Buki walked to the window. He listened to what was said, sat up and said "understood" in a semi-serios way. he then started to notice the others, they must think i'm weird he thought as he watched them. he then leaned back in the desk

~*~At the academy~*~

::Buki's eyebrow twitched but she didn't make a comment about the young girl's statement. Instead she moved to a door at the back of the room. She reached for the handle, the door appeared normal and logically would lead further into the academy. However, when she opened the door it revealed a forest interior::

Then I beleive that we are about ready to begin.

~*~outside the desert village~*~

::the raiders were now easily within sight and within targer range apparently as a volley of arrows came from over the wall and into the group of horsemen. There was a scream or two as an arrow found its mark, yet none had hit true, mostly grazes or minor injuries::

::there was man on the lead horse, directing the others to move back and then to spread out a double line some yards back from the wall, just out of arrow range::

arrow Dessert - Outside the Village

As Ademu waited for the raiders to pass his location he sat still, and watched his breathing. The sand by his mouth moved slightly but otherwise he was concealed. He gentlely rolled trip wire through over the sand to his comrads on the other side, it was nearly invisible in the hot dessert sun.

Tegatus smiled when she felt Mamoru's arm around her sides and looked into his eyes. "Ok, sounds good to me!" She made no attempt to extract herself from him.

(ooc: sorry guys, the last few days have been a real mess around here. I have to go to class soon, got a bit test in one of my classes so I'll make a post this evening when I get home. So sorry ^.^)

~*~outside the desert town~*~

::the horses snorted and pawed at the ground a bit as their riders pulled out what appeared to be a form of long bow, taking aim over the walls and presumably into the interior of the town itself. The leader pulled something from a side bag and suddenly struck fire to its end. The leader than rode across the line, igniting the arrows::

~*~At the academy~*~

::Buki shot the two a withering glance, her cat like eyes narrowing darkly::

I must advise you that this is not going to be a walk in the park.

::she straightened herself a bit and then looked into the forest::

Inside, there is a village, hidden away from the most easily found trails, but still accessable. This village is dwindling and is suffering. You are to aid those people.
