Oooh, they must have some form of computer that recognized the particular number because the boy at the other end began to stammer.- ...That's nice, but -- -She paused, frowning a bit.- You know, you get paid to take orders and listen, not to yak to the customers what sounds good to the point that they forget what they wanted in the first place. Now be quiet and listen.

-Now, this was something new, wasn't it? Mimi, being rude? Oh, it was just part of the act. The first time she had called the parlor they had hung up on her *twice* until she snapped the third.- Five pizzas, like always. One anchovie, one bacon, a plain and two pepperoni.

-Five, five pizzas... for two people? Well, in Mimi's experience people always showed up at the last moment.- And don't throw them out the window like the last idiot did or I'll have his head for dinner the next time. Have him pull up to the hotel as well. -Again she paused, listening to what the other person had to say.-

I paid well last time, did I not? And did he not get back safely? Exactly my point-- he does not even have to get out of the damned car, I'll go up to the window myself. -Mimi frowned, chewing on her lip- Cars have horns, no? Have him honk it twice, I'll be there. Fine. No. No. That's all.

-And then she slammed the phone down for good measure. After that, she looked up at Hakan with a bright smile and a faint blush on her cheeks.- gotta scare them, you know?

-Before he could answer, however, she stepped out from where she was and headed up the stairs. Where was she going? To take a quick shower, change and get some money.- He said he'd be here in half an hour.

Ikue turned her head to the side to see Bertram coming her way. She smiled and thought for a moment. "Uh, a glass of water would be nice and.. just a ham and cheese sandwich." She couldn't think of anything else for a meal.

*Naj let out a sigh as she plopped down onto the ground, exhausted. Where was that blasted brother of hers? She had spent the entire day searching for him and had not seen any sign of him. What in the world was he doing? Living underground? Naj let out a slight laugh as she thought about it. More than likely, Sirus was out hunting demons. That's what he did, after all.*

*Reaching into her pack, Naj pulled out a small pouch which was ornately decorated with various rune sigils. Pulling off the string which kept the contents inside sealed, the girl flipped the bag over. An assortment of chocolates poored out of the opening, falling neatly into Naj's lap. Almost lazily, she plucked one from the pile and began to munch on it. The taste sent her taste buds tingling with pleasure. Sighing with content, the girl ate another chocolate. Damn these were good.*

Bertram nodded, seeming distracted, as he poured some water into a glass, and looked up. "Um... Miss? Ice or no ice?" It sounded like he was unlikely ever to use her first name unless specifically invited, and maybe not even then. Probably a nice treat for the young woman. While waiting for a response, he snapped his fingers and a knife started to slice the cheese and ham up, before going to a selection of breads. "And...any specific type of bread?"

The door softly opened, then, and the two vampires walked in. Bertram looked flustered. "M-master..."

Duellist nodded. "At ease, Bertie... making yourself useful for this young lady?" He asked, grinning and showing a full-set of fangs. Taryn smacked him. "Sorry, dear..."

The vampiress walked past Bertram, patting his hand easily. "We'll be out for the night, Bertram... so you can just let yourself into the lair tonight. Is that okay?"

The wraith nodded quickly. "Yes, Mistress..."

Duellist looked impatient, and coughed. "I'd love to be introduced to the new resident, but that bounty isn't going to catch himself, dear..." Taryn sighed, grabbed two packets of blood from the fridge, looked apologetic, and the two vanished.
