Oh, to be fair, when they are in the moment of slaughter (or as I call it, "Metal video" time when Chaos get into it), they look and act BAD a**. But when all the weakling IGmen are dead or being eaten, it's all "Booooooo! I'm damned...The darkness in me. Sorrow. Sorrow. Resentful anger. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWW!!! Life is pointless. MOPE." Emos. I think you've got the wrong fluff in mind. Chaos isn't like that. You ought to read Into the Maelstrom, Storm of Iron or Dark Apostle.

I've read Storm of Iron and the only ones with some trouble are Honsou because of his heritage and Ferrix who was feeling old.

Alright, for the sake of thought, let's throw this out there.
Those that embrace Khorne either have parts of their brains ripped out, or are driven into absolute madness by their own fanatacism and bloodlust. They kill and maim for fun, destroying everything and anything that they can lay their hands on.
The ones that embrace Slaanesh dedicate themselves to seeking pleasure and perfection. Sure, there are some that do this through bodily mutilation, but others have their own ways. Noise Marines need constantly louder and more cacophonous sounds blasting through their weapons as they become more and more accustomed to it.
Followers of Nurgle are people who have given themselves up to be hosts for plague and contagion so that they can be freed from the pain of death. That said, their god is JOVIAL. They spread the plagues in order to keep the love of their father.
Followers of Tzeentch play along with whatever the grand plan might be and hunt for knowledge, using arcane magic to destroy anything that gets in their way.
In that line of thought, the only ones that I would look at as being emo at all (or fitting the emo archetype) would be some Slaaneshi cultists or Nurglesque cultists. That said, they're still batshit crazy and have a lovely knack for destroying everything that opposes them.

I'll give you the Khorne as being METAL more then emo...But The Changer of Ways has the whole making his followers mutants and then they get the whole "humanity lost" emo-ing, as they all invariably seem to do. Oh, and Doomrider isn't emo. He does cocain, which makes him METAL.
