Hmm.. Seeing as helmets seems as a closed case, what other preferances do you guys (and girls) have for marine characters?

I'm leaning towards one day making a ahem, ******** EPIC commander. With artificer armour, storm / combat shield and power sword. Either with a crusader pattern helm or a bare head that just scowls at the enemy.

Is that just as a modelling project, or would you work out a cost value?
And by 'Crusader' do you mean Grey Knight helmet, or something more along the lines of the old skool Great Crusade?

Hmmyeah.
Atrificer modelled as Terminator or modelled as Power?
And how about them Iron Warrior heads for a decnt Crusade Helmet?

Battlewagon Bits also sells the Black Templar Mk.2 Crusade helmets separately. Those're pretty snazzy.

I always use a Master of Sanctity with 2 Lightning claws, Jump Pack, Frag Grenades, Melta Bombs, and sometimes an Adamantium mantle.
Model wise.... I'm working on a robed guy, with the chaos skull-like helmet.

I tend to roll out my Master with Artificer Armour, Iron Halo, Bionics, Bolt Pistol, Stubborn (Soon to be changed to purity seals), Terminator Honours, and the Sword of Secrets. Fit for annoying just about anyone(or thing.)

Also, this is pure hearsay, but I'm told the Sword of Secrets is specific to Azrael now, and not accessible to your average DA Commander. Other swords cut from the same stone are counted simply as master-crafted power weapons.
Like I said, hearsay. ninja
