Borill sat in the command chair of the Hektor's Shield as the labors of the crew to make their vessel combat worthy once more echoed around him. Through the transparisteel viewports he could see the Star Destroyer Squadron he'd order to blast Wayland at work, the continual flash of green laser fire and the dull orange glow from molten magma and savage fires dominated the view of the crew. The destruction of an entire planet's surface was under way, and it made Borill sick.
Borill knew that his choice had been right, an occupation of a world home to thousands upon thousands of Noghri would only lead to a bloodbath and an unending resistance movement. A fight that could well have had casualties running into the millions over the years it would be waged. He'd destroyed the planet to save those people, and that alone was worth a couple hundred thousand dead sentient beings, wasn't it?
He knew some of the Noghri had fled, but even if he'd given them weeks to evacuate only a tiny fraction of the enemy's population would have been able to slip away. Still that didn't matter, those that were running away were not an immediate threat, "Alright... give it to me."
Commodore Kull handed him a datapad, "It's not as bad as you feared Admiral. None of the ships in your personal command were damaged severely or destroyed... except of course for the hole in the side of the Hektor's Shield our own crewers put in place, most of the losses were among the units donated by the sector fleets. The enemy succeded in destroyed the Beldon-class Battlecruiser Blood Ire as well as damaging the Revenge II-class Cruiser Starchaser we'll have to scrap her."
Borill sighed, "Fleet Admiral Akla will not be pleased with the loss of such valuable equipment, nor will Fleet Admiral Kuran."
"It could be worse Admiral, we lost ten more ships in the battle, most of which were Gladius-class Frigates. In addition twenty-seven other vessels are reportedly damaged beyond repair... even with the use of the orbital drydock we've siezed from Elladan Kenet."
"Total losses?" Borill asked cooly.
Kull frowned at her superior, "Thirty-nine starships, roughly a thousand starfighters most of them Predators."
"Not nearly as bad as I thought... Not nearly." Borill stood and pulled a tabac cigar from his pocket, "We took heavy losses to be sure, but their losses are incredibly high."
"What about their clone warriors?"
Borill nodded, "That is our greatest concern, perhaps the interrogation of our foe will reveal the source of his clones so that the facility may be destroyed."
"Where will they stick the traitor?" Commodore Kull asked.
"I'm not sure, killing him outright won't end his rebellion so they'll pack him off to one of the Empire's penal colonies of strict regime. Probably have him make obsidian casts at Golak or Kerbli III. Working in those magma caverns shoveling the scalding stone into a couple molds of great Imperial figures for hours on end. Hell, they'll probably just have him shovel the magma into a mold of Thrawn. A loyal and worthy commander, all the things he wasn't."
"That sounds like Imperial Intelligence's sense of humor. He's a stain on Chiss honor."
Borill smiled, "Well, we must start planning for the next stage in the suppression of Kenet's rebellion."

Ree opened his eyes slowly, catching the glimpse of blue. His vision was fuzzy, but he started to make out blue stormtrooper armor leggings. The more it got clear, the more it took a female shape. Then a face lowered down, looking at him. "Hey sweetie... Feeling better?" "Wolph...?" He felt a hard slap come across his face. "About time! I havn't seen you since you ran away from me on Lok! I have been trying to find you for awhile." His vision cleared. It was her alright, Ash Wolph. Ex-Stormtrooper, turned bounty, turned bounty hunter. She wore only the leg armor of her blue stormtrooper outfit, and the upper was the casual black under shirt. She sat down in the chairr across from him. She lite a Death Stick, and blew out the smoke after holding it a bit. "You know, Ash, they call them Death Sticks for a reason." "Yeah, yeah..." Ree stood up. It was easier due to the lack of armor on him. All he was wearing was his hooded jumpsuit. The ship was cold, and he threw the hood over his head. "So, where are we?" "Floating over the Wayland thats being blasted to kingdom come, looking like another broken ship." "What? The Imps are destroying the planet?!" "Yep..." "Damn..." "Why does it matter to you, huh? Your a heartless b*****d. You care about nothing but yourself!" There was a long pause. "How your "sis", Akey doing?" "She's... dead... Got shot in the back while helping evac wounded from Concord Dawn..." Ash looked hurt now, her eyes wide. She took another drag, looking over come by sadness. She finished the Death Stick, and stood up, turning away from him. She started away, when Ree got up quickly. He grab her shoulder, and she swung around with a slap. Ree turned back slowly. She had a tear rolling down from each eye. "I'm sorry..." "I've missed you so much..." She grabbed him, and held him tight. This was a surprise coming from the "bullet-proof" girl that she was. For as long as he had known her, she was never hurt by anything... She looked looked up to him, her big green eyes looking happy now. "Are you going to leave me again...?" Ree wore a grin. "No... I promise..." She backed away a bit, wiping her tears away, and clearing her throat. "Thats what I thought you were going to say... Besides I wouldn't let you, I'm--" She was cut off by the ship shaking violently. Without a word or second thought, they darted to the cockpit. "Kriffing Hell! That patrol ship nailed us! The Preds will be here any second!" "I'll take the turret!" Ree was off and in the gun in seconds. He threw the head set on, and he felt Ash's ship, and lurch forward at full speed. As the targeting computer came on, he grasped just how overwhelmed the Mandalorian forces were. He also watched as multiple Star Destoryers were bombarding the Wayland's surface. "Ash, you better hit hyperspace to the most populated space port, ASAP! Those Destoryers are going to be eyeballing us pretty soon!" Ree then took the partol ship into sight and opened up on it, until it was nothing more then fire and metal...

Luger lounged back againest the wall, watching as this all went by, Haldir to the side with Vernos and Amras. Amras playing on some handheld pad of some sort, only looking up a few times."So we 'ave ah plan then?"Luger spoke up, Ginger entered the bunker and crossed over to stand beside him, her hand scantly touching his shoulder, he looked for a second then back to her.
"Coruscant an't the easilest to sneak into, specially nowadays. And dah sith temple? P'sah, even with this dis guy,"he inclined his head at Acharas."It'd beh near impossible."
"We got a cloaker, but its old."Amras absentmindly said as he played his little game. The whole crew and capitan of Heavy Metal looked at him with wide eyes, Amras looknig up."What, its from an old friend. Thats what really hit us hard with the money, but hey."He shrugged.

"I'm not entirely sure any person can garuntee your safety when under the eye of Lord Ferno. Even a droid such as myself must meet demands which even my circuits sometimes find logically impossible."
HM headed back the same way they came. "The master will be finished with his meditation at the same time we reach the surface level. Tell me, do you prefer lightning or choke better? The master has never given me a straight answer as to his prefrence of powers in the dark side. Perhaps you prefer one?"

He pondered, "I guess lightening," he said. "either way, it's gonna hurt," he said. The sith appretnice sighed, why was he the only apprentice being given death sentence tasks? It is not like he is fighting for the throne of Dark Lord.

Freya paced as Luger spoke. "So, did you, like, totally say something about a cloaking device, dude?" she asked the larger man, her eyes widening. Like, this could so totally be a plan! she thought.

Archaras looked at Freya's demonstration, and then nodded conservatively. "Your accuracy is superb, Lady Freya. But there is more to gun-play than simply hitting your enemy. You must learn how to have your opponent *not* hit you. Cover, dodging, feinting, all must be mastered in order to be a true adept of the blaster. But that I can teach you during our stay here. At least as much as can be taught. Fighting is one of those things you need to learn from Experience," He said, gesturing as he did so.
He then turned to the mercenary after he spoke and queried heatedly "Wait. You have a *serviceable* cloaking device? One that is or can quickly be brought up to modern specifications?"

Freya simply nodded to Archaras. "I totally don't think they'll be using stun on Coruscant," she commented. "Though, I'm like kind of expecting to boogie out of here as soon as we totally have a plan," she added.

"I am unaware as to the plans of the master," HM said, as the lift hit surface level, and the pair headed back for the same area that jaden had faught the creatures earlier.
"I'm sure he's going to allow you to work like a dog no matter the consequences. Being strong isn't easy for meatbags." the droid stated, as they came upon the field, with Ferno standing there, already prepared.

Amras set his gamepad to the side and placed his feet up on some random crate."I've been able to set it to work on the Heavy Metal, been programing the system for a few years. During time in the service, me and a few were commision to work on a cloaking device. The project was reported a failure after a while, but secertly the we kept working on it." He smiled."I myself was set to work on the program to entable it to a ships usage, while the others produced the machine itself. The program was the hardest part and thus took me longer than the others." The rest of the crew and Luger were still looking at him with shocked expressions, Ginger just seemed as shocked as the rest in the room, but less than those who apparently had this going on under their very noses.
"I got it hooked up while we were still on Rodia, I got the systems linked up just the other day. Its operational, but still not but a tested prototype. Not sure how long it will hold."

((Used with Cale's Permission)) A lone figure walked through the debris that was once the Colony of Dxun, his weary dark eyes casing the field of destruction. After all this time, it still stank of death and chemical explosives. Charred bones, picked clean by scavengers of flesh and material, littered the area, now played host to native moss and mildew colonies. This was a scene of cowardly betrayal. It was something the man was well aquainted with. For the past months, the man had lived a life of betrayal. Comrades, friends, even his own master. He had failed them all. Now he was on the run, fending for his life in a galaxy of enemies. His allies had gone into hiding. His comrades now wanted to gun him down. He was surrounded by enemies. He gave a weary sigh as he sat down upon the battered remanants of a house's foundation. "Theres nothing left. Everywhere I turn there naught but ash and ruin." He stated. As he stared out at the field of rubble, something caught the man's eye: Sunlight glinting off something untarnished by neither explosion nor time or weather. He picked himself up and paced towards it. Whatever was catching light was partialy buried under a small pile of prefab building materials. Intrigued he began to exume the item, tossing aside the debris and brushing away the dust. He pulled the item out. He held in his hands a white and black helm, dented but perfectly servicable. The rotten skull left inside was clue enough that it's owner was no more. The Material of its cracked visor caught the sun with a noticible glint. He knew this helm. He knew the people who made it, their past, their history. The helm seemed to beckon to him, reaching out to his very soul. His legacy, long pushed aside, was calling to him. He answered.
******************
Freshly worked earth marked a newly worked grave, a board used as the marker. Carved upon the board was a long sinister skull, flanked by a pair of curved tusks, the only clue as to the being intered within. His task complete, A man clad in battered and dusty white and black armor, glared at the sky overhead. "Duum motir ca'tra nau tracinya." He said to the galaxy beyond Dxun's sky. "Gra'tua cuun hett su dralshy'a. Aruetyc runi trattokāo." Having issued his dire prophesy, the man took one last look at the ruined Dxun colony and strode purposfully into the jungle, ST-II Carbine at the ready tp burn down any fell beast who would stand in his way. Like a phoenix born of his own ashes, Mandalore the Immortal had been reborn.

Archaras looked at the mercenary, and his face broke out into a smile. Then he said "Well if it works that's all we can ask for. We won't need it for the insertion at least, we can create a false data trail...but we'll need an expert pick up from a large Force User battle. I'll create a distraction, but it will need to be up and in the air, and more importantly cloaked. My AI should be able to create sensor mirrors after the pickup, but Data warfare can only get us so far. That's one element of the stealth for our escape handled..."
He then looked at the other force users and said "We should start training. This upcoming fight will be very very hard..."
He awaited their response as he paced, his mind racing with enough ideas as he did so...

Ferno spoke, as HM translated.
"You will become a weapon of terror, an instrument unto your master's will. To be a great fighter, one must know the balance of one's skills. You may be strong as a saber-fighter, or prefer the saber over the Force, yet without controlling the force, your skills will suffer. While you train with a vibrosword with a ysalimari, your force skills will be taught outside. You must learn how to use the Force to aid your attack, but not rely on it to defeat an opponent. For this, we shall use a simple exercise. Until it is mastered, Force powers while training will be henceforth banned."
HM completed, with some difficulty, as languages never really connect dot for dot. However, he now simply talked, as Ferno demonstrated.
"Your task is to learn with lightning how to control it. How to arc it. Due to the nature of lightning, it should be simple. Link bioelectricity to a reciever. Start with learning how to shoot sparks from both hands. Once you are able to produce lightning, then you should be able to learn how to control it," the droid began, indicating Ferno's hand motions. "First, you will summon lightning from one fingertip, and make it jump to the other hand. When you can make a connection from one tip to the other, you can proceed with two, then three, up to five fingers at a time with jumping electricity. For added practice, see if you can jump lightning from one finger to a different one, and eventually you should be capable of this:"
Ferno sat, with lightning arcing from fingers at various intermittent jumps, making sure the task was more difficult by having each finger cast lightning at a different time. Also, at arm's length, the gap was wide enough to create quite uncontrollable surges, threatening the user more.
"Keep your hands close. You will know when you fail. The electric shock should be easy enough to understand for such a meatbag."

Jaden nodded. He kept his hands close in, and then began to focus the dark side enrgeies into his finger tips, creating small sparks little by little. Jaden repeated the same act, reassuring himself to be as careful as possible before he came to the next level. He finally decided he should try now and made a small stream of lightening on his pointing finger and had it jump to the other hand, then brashly did it with two, which was ok, until he reached to three there was a small spark explosion and Jaden fell to the ground.
Electricity ran through his body, making him jolt on the ground for a little, until he regained control and got up. A little weary from the shock he spoke, "Yea, now I unserstand what you mean," he said. But the sith apprentice was not yet ready to give up. He tried this once again going first finger, to hand, second finger, to hand, third finger, to hand, fourth finger to hand, and finally he manipulated all five fingers to create a small stream of ligtening going from one hand to another.
