Except, you know, if you play one sax you automatically can play them all...
Anyway, I love sax. It's amazing and beautiful and aghhh. Can't even describe it.
Vandoren 3 and 3.5s, byyy the way. smile

Electrik Cloud I play alto sax, but I want to try soprano. Soprano's my favorite! =D Maybe it's just because the soprano I played on was a lot better quality wise compared to my alto and the school's tenor...but I liked it a lot when I played it during marching season. =]

We have one too may altos in our concert band. So every other sax player (including me) ganged up on my friend to pressure him into playing the baritone for concert band too.

Right now i'm playing lead alot in my jazzband but i really miss playing the first tenor spot. We havent found a good enough lead player so i can switch back.

Been playing alto sax since 6th grade!!! XD It's like the perfect size for me! But it's a pain in marching band. ( The strap rubs at my neck and gives me burns.)

So, I'm playing tenor in jazz band...I like it, but being the only vet of the tenors, it gets kind of bothersome at times when I can only hear myself playing because the other two aren't very confident. Bah! It's still fun, though. :] The only thing that's really been bothering me lately is that I'm always sharp...I pull out the mouthpiece all the way, a little at the neck (I hate doing it, though), and I still end up needing to lip it down a little. I don't know if it's me or the instrument, but it's not fun.

I play tenor at school, because my Band Director won't let me play soprano.
Also I play on Vandoren size 5 reeds for both. I play louder than Tubas and can play higher the clarinets!! Triple F FTW!
