"Daren, I think you're important than me, and you think I'm more important than you. Can we agree that we're both equally important? Please? Because, because if something happens..." if it was like with Andrew, where Tim thought Andrew was most important, he'd blame himself for everything.

"I'm fine, don't worry. I'm mostly fine. I really, really need a shot or two of vodka." But he listened silently, nodding. "You can take a month if you'd like, what I did was really awful." It would have been better if Tim hadn't mentioned it at all. Alas, everything was 20/20 in hindsight, so Daren was right there was nothing he could do about it now.

"Take all the time you need. I think I need a nap." Sleep away the emotional energy.

Tim walked on eggshells for the next week, doing all he could to try and please Daren without being too obvious about it. He'd relapsed again, and as much as Timothy wanted to say it wasn't a bad relapse (No screaming and crying and begging) he still felt like he was stuck in it. The after-effects. He didn't stay out of Daren's sight, not wanting the man to think he was doing more things behind his back. he tried not to be too affectionate, letting Daren be affectionate and returning it instead.

He never had to do this with Jason, he realized, because he'd never had an episode around that man. And if he had, Jason was quiet and calm, he didn't get angry or yell. Whether that was good or bad Tim couldn't decide. But he just wanted the eggshells to be over.

But Saturday morning came, the redhead asleep in t-shirt and boxers and cuddled underneath the blankets. It was movement in his hair and lips to his neck which woke up the sleepy man. "Hmm?" Thin fingers reached back, feeling the features as Daren before turning his head. "good morning." he murmured with a smile, turning to face him. "Time is it?"

The man sighed. He had to stop sleeping in late on weekends, he got nothing accomplished. So lazy, he didn't exercise he needed to do that or else he'd get flabby. At the mention of the party he groaned, pulling up the blankets to hide his head. "Don't remind me. I'll go for an hour to make face then come straight home. Until then I think I'll pretend nothing outside this bed exists. Except maybe exercising. I should try that." Baseball was nearly over so he had to find a way to stay in decent shape somehow.

"But that means getting out of bed." he moaned, peeking out from underneath the blankets. "And you don't need new clothes. If you intend to bulk back up it'll be a waste of money because they'll be too small." Tim sat up and stretched, going through one of the boxes in the room that held his clothes and found work out clothes. "We'll do that then shower. I've never played basketball. So you'll have to go easy on me." he teased, stripping off the sleep shirt and putting on a work out one.

"You didn't lose all of it, Daren. From what Andy told me you exercised best you could. It'll be easy for you to bulk back up since your body isn't completely out of habit yet." Shorts, shorts, aha! The man found a blue pair and put those on, following the officer out.

"Ah, it's not that hard but you're going to pit me against professionals?" he said, giving a mock look of hurt, "You just want me to lose, don't you?" And chuckled, listening and nodding. "It's good they found something that opened them up. And I'm not playing against them because that wouldn't be fair. I'd lose." He said, making a face before softly smiling again. "You should try your hand at baseball, a lot harder than basketball."

"What? No one can be good at every sport!" Tim exclaimed, "And baseball isn't boring at all I much enjoy it. Watching men chase a ball back and forth is boring." It was teasing, Tim had to work hard to be good at baseball, nerds like him weren't really cut out for sports.

Entering the basement room he looked around, thinking. "Dribble the ball, don't hold it for more than three seconds, the further away you are from the opposing net the more points you get and get it in the opposing basket for points."

Tim had to admit, basketball was hard. He felt like all his years training for baseball were wasted because he felt unskilled just playing this. But it was fun, he was trying, and Daren didn't seem to exhausted so that was good. Tim could proudly say he's stolen the ball once without Daren going easy on him.

But, horse ended up being played because Tim was growing tired. he won.

"I can hit a ball coming at me at 45 miles per hour. I think I can throw a ball into a non-moving hoop." he laughed, moving his bangs from his sweat covered forehead. "I say we shower and then go get milkshakes. We deserved them."

Tim grinned, following him up the stairs and listening. "Just for your sake I'll try pumpkin. Tis the season." and chuckled,standing on his toes, putting his arms behind his head and stretching his back before relaxing, blushing and smiling brightly. "How can I say no to that?" Especially when Daren called him 'love.' Did that mean he wasn't angry anymore? He sure hoped so.
