Darkshadow complimented his sister]

He smiled slightly as she talked more and more. Soon, he heard Pinekit too. He sighed, and nosed the kit up. "Let's go see Darkshadow," he meowed, picking Pinekit up by the scruff. He padded out of the nursery, and sat the light kit down, licking him for a few seconds. He stopped himself, scolding himself inwardly. These weren't his kits, no matter how much he wanted them to be' and for them not to be an exile's kits. He shook.
Cinderwing finally cleared his throat. "Envykit, your eyes are blue," he meowed, clarifying the subject.

DARKSHADOW I miss you.
I miss your smiles.
And I still shed a tear, every once in a while. "Y-Yes.. You are. All of you are.."[He looked at his kits weakly.] Even though it's different now.

All of this was getting to me. From Purepaw, Leopardstorm, and Shatteredfang....oh,Shatteredfang! Yes, their deaths, to Darkshadow being injured. This was certainly no time for this. We were losing too many Clanmates.
I padded to a certain pale tabby, sitting down next to her. I trembled, feeling weak.] "Oh, Vanillapaw, what are we going to do?" I asked quietly. [It was obviously a rhetorical question though. I didn't want an answer now. I sighed. My usual happiness and cheery attitude had disappeared altogether. An aching thought crossed my mind as I realized this. What if it never came back?!
Trembling, I forced a smile, and a laugh.] "H-Have you seen Darkshadow's kits yet? They look beautiful!" I meowed in a sort of enthusiastic way.  "I don't mind making jokes, I just don't want to look like one."

['Where ARE they!' Blaze growled, eye narrowed to slits at the untimely manner of Ghost and Jenny. 'Where!' By now, Leslie, Wonder, and Huzzah had already arrived, as they also nervously gazed into the bushes. 'Wonder got a wound.' Blaze thought, mind trailing off for a second. He let out a snort and shook his head. 'I'll deal with him later, right now I need to get them back. I don't want them to get TO carried away.' Blaze grinned for a second but took a gulp of air and let out a shrill yip, signaling for his comrades to regroup.]
*Jenny
[Jenny barked with triumph as the cat fell to the ground. 'Let's finish this..' She paced forwards, ready to finish the cat with a quick snap to the neck when... 'What's that sound?' Jenny immediately perked her ears as the shrill sound echoed through ears again. 'Blaze!' Jenny snarled giving a quick glance at the cat, but shot back to Blaze, her shoulders aching with pain in each bound. 'Later. My love life is more important than killing a pitiful... worm like that!' She assured herself.]
*Ghost
[Ghost heaved a sigh of relief around as the cats teeth slackened, but her it was short lived as they rapidly increased in strength, the tom now desperately hanging onto the tip of her tail. Ghost tugged away, desperately trying to get him to let go. 'Stupid!' A voice reminded her, 'If you kill him, he can't hold on!' The desperation was put aside and Ghost spun around as fast as she could, ready to rip him to shreds when *rip*. Ghost howled as the tip of her tail fur was violently ripped off, the black fur now hanging limply in the toms teeth]
[Eyes blazing with rage, Ghost swiftly and fully turned around, quickly snapping at the tom before darting off toward Blaze, the searing burn emanating from the tip of her tail egging her on.]

[I hissed annoyed as once again, I was plopped onto the hard ground and licked by a... Tongue? I thought hard for a second. I tried to understand everything around me at that moment. I was just licked by as tongue, picked up by a mouth of a giant black cat and plopped in front of another giant cat. Why...]
[I racked my head for the answers, but was interrupted when a deep meow rang through my mind and ears. Father? That's new. I plaintively took a step toward the cat and was soon scrambling forward, though abruptly stopping as I reached his fur. I would not reach the same sticky trap my sister and brother had fallen into. No. Never me. I lightly stepped toward the cats face.] "I don't see anything wrong with bad." [I mewed, answering Rainkit's question. Bad wouldn't matter. Right? I considered this for a second.... Nah... I plopped down on the ground (All by myself!) and I felt my sentence wasn't finished. No it wasn't at all.] "Ever."[I tilted my head for a second... Considering....] "Father." [Nice ring to it. Joyfully I pounced back up, eyes brightened as I learned something new. New! Exciting! I was ready for more.]

He padded out of the nursery and watched the three kits comfort their father. He was sad that some of the warriors in Nightclan were dead, but he had to keep moving forward. The shadows of the past wouldn't consume him. Brokensoul felt really tired, Shadow tempting him to sleep leaving his body defenseless for Shadow to take over. But Brokensoul didn't allow that to happen, not yet. He noticed Vanillapaw and Stonepaw together, sadness reflected in their eyes.] [Brokensoul padded away from them, he decided to go hunting. [Eaglesoar's jaws ached with the strain as he bit down onto the tip of the fox's tail, the taste of blood filling his mouth. He felt himself being spun around, before being hurled violently onto the ground, knocking the breath out of his lungs. He opened his mouth to gag in pain, only to feel sharp teeth ripping at his belly. He weakly kicked out with his back legs to fend the fox off, but a few seconds later the fox had already darted off.]
[Eaglesoar lay still on the ground, a fierce snarl still etched on his face and the tip of the fox's tail still clenched in his jaws. Bloody bite marks covered his entire body, one ear was bitten off, and a massive wound on his head was still pouring blood relentlessly.]
Nightclan, I'm so sorry...Tigerfang...
[He thought as he tried to move, but his vision blacked out and he sank into nothingness.]
