They finally reach the door to the next store, Alex opens the door for Tess, making sure to turn the direction facing the way they just came from.

(I know I say it too much but sorry. Holiday rush at work got me distracted)
Alex nods, "You know I was thinking something we don't have to get for awhile but it might be pretty useful. He might not have friends in abundance so you think he might like a kitten or puppy or something?"

Alex smiles, "A lost little someone in need of love, sounds familiar. Ok, there's one in town we can get one today I imagine if you want." Alex goes and gets some help picking out baby stuff, using the cover story it's for a baby shower.

Alex stops and thinks, "Oh my baby wants reinforcements? Ok we'll think of a name when we see her and see what inspires us? I'll carry this stuff out to the car honey." Alex takes it, making sure to he careful for the someone he suspects is following them.
