Suka broke the kiss not long after his hand had touched her face, it slowly moved back to it's former position keeping his balance and he moved back opening his eyes so he could se a portion fof her face. He saw now how red she'd become and he expected that he was not much less red if at all. The rate that his heart had been beating stilll did not slow down though the kiss was over and he sat there breathing quietly but not softly and waiting for her eyes to show again.

Karin felt him pull away and just continued sitting there for a moment. Then her eyes slowly opened and she stared at him, though her gaze wasn't really focused, almost like she was in a daze. Her tail was flicking very slowly behind her and her ears were slightly flattened back. Her mouth was open now as she breathed through it rather than her nose as her hands renewed their grip on the branch. She sat mostly still though, watching him as her eyes slowly focused once more.

Suka sat there speechless, everytime he tried to say something else he couldn't even get a word out. He breathed through his mouth after giving up on speaking. He did not know exactly what to say about that...What had happened had been mostly out of his conscious control, though once again it was something he wanted to happen only after it had happened. He sat there quietly happy that her eyes were open but afraid of how she'd taken it. That her mouth was open for some reason tempted him to do it again but he stopped himself short of that and sat there with his hands in front of him and his eyes slightly further away then they were moments before.

Karin just watched him silently. She had no idea what to say after that, and wasn't sure if she'd be able to get the words out if she did. She just sighed very faintly with a soft smile forming upon her reddened face. She slowly pulled her hand from her pocket and set it on the branch beside her other, keeping herself from falling. Her legs still swung free over one edge of the branch, but she was still twisted so she was facing him. Neither of them had spoken in so long, yet she just couldn't bring herself to break the silence.

Suka sat quietly and finally he spoke...though it was no morethen a whisper and made no point. "Um..." still nothing came that was more then a sounds, if he could articulate correctly after that there would have been more. His lip trembled a bit after he'd said that one word and that he'd begun to speak would probably make it easier to speak freely given a few moments more of time. Now he was stuck between confusion and frustration, confused about why he was unable to speak and frustrated that he couldn't say the things he finally found would be best to. With that 'um' he gave up on speaking and just went forward putting his arms around her and keeping balance with his legs.

Karin's head tilted as she heard him say something, and she waited for him to continue, but he didn't. Instead she saw his lip seemed to quiver for a moment as he remained silent. She was about to attempt to say something, though her try probably wouldn't come out any better, when she suddenly realized he'd put his arms around her. Her eyes widened slightly again, but then she hugged him back, tail wrapping around the branch to keep her stable. She wanted to say something, but still couldn't find the words. And her face was still extremely red without any hopes of returning normal any time soon.

Suka kept his arms around her and again spoke the same one word. "...um..." with nothing following right after. Was it too soon to say anything? Why as he unable to speak...why were they both unable to speak? He hugged her more firmly and heard himself begin to speak again, this time making out the words and hearing the tone of his voice. Hiis voice was questioning even before the words escaped it. "Is....is it too soon...to love you?" he was extremely hesitant when asking this but that he said a complete sentence made him feel relieved. Was it really too soon to love? True love never did run smooth... he thought this to himself...waiting cautiously for her answer.

Karin's ear twitched as she heard him repeat that one word and she wondered what it was he was trying to say. Actually, what was she wanting to say? She still hadn't figured it out. But even her thoughts seemed to stop suddenly as she heard his question. She froze for a moment, considering it in her spinning mind before tilting her head just enough to see his face. She smiled faintly and shook her head. "No," she said softly. "It's not..." Her face was still red, but she didn't let go.

Suka held his breath after asking the question, unintentionally, and hearing her answer he let it back out slowly. He moved slightly so that out of the corner of his eye he could see her aswell. "Then...I love you" the words seemed to come easier for him this time and he felt that now that he'd said that he might be able to speak normally. Now that he'd said what he wanted to say..now that he knew what he wanted to say. He let down one of his hands resting it on her side as he felt the embrace would soon end and he waited...what would she say to this?

Yume was leaning against a tree when she felt her tattoo burning. What's wrong with me? The tattoo has never burned this badly before... She touched the tattoo, the coldness of her hand sort of decrasing the heat of the tattoo.
I hope Pander's alright wherever he is right now with Scytheress...
She thought about her realtionship with Pander. It's all going downhill now. I just know it.

Karin stared at him for a moment. From his previous question, she'd guessed this was coming, but she couldn't help being a little surprised. But after taking that moment to recover, she looked down for a moment, seeing his hand had shifted to her side. Then she slowly raised her head back up, her eyes meeting his. "I... love you too," she said softly. She couldn't recal ever saying those words, other than to her parents. It felt odd but... she didn't really mind.

Suka'd neither said nor heard those words, being directed at him, and the way that it felt was quite unexplainable. His smile returned to his face...weaker then normal because most o hi face was numb from blushing for so long. It began to fade only slightly now for it was almost over...the moment was. He slowly and soflty moved to where the embrace was. He looked back into her eyes now and the smile grew slightly. His indigo eyes began to glimmer again and the emotion that was seen in them was unique to his own eyes. They were lost and confused...and loving now too.....an awkward combination.

Karin smiled at him, the scarlet blush fading only slightly from her face. She saw his was as well and tilted her head slightly again. Her eyes were soon drawn back into his as she saw them glimmering again. They really were wonderful. She smiled a bit more warmly, her own eyes loosing the defensive coldness they always seemed to hold, the gold almost seeming to glow in the sunlight. A cat and a wolf... she thought quietly to herself as her hand shifted, finding his.

Suka saw the difference in her eyes and he thought they were beautiful all the more because of it. The way that the seemed to glow now. He blinked when he felt her hand touch his and looked down at them bothfor a moment then back up at her smiling more then usual. This was really turning out to be a series of firsts and if it continued to be like that...the relationship might just work out after all. To think it all started out as a sort of challenge...

Karin smiled, shifting slightly on the branch, still twisted so she was facing him. Her tail remained wrapped around the branch, even though she also had one hand set upon it as well. She felt almost restless, since they'd been just sitting here for so long, yet at the same time she didn't really want to move. She felt so content. And then, before she knew it, she'd started purring. Her eyes widened slightly as she realized it, but she couldn't help herself. It was an instinctual reaction to the situation.
