Oh, will it take me a long time to get caught back up into the RPs due to my short absence?

Never gained the title of Almost Man. I almost gained the ability to fly, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.
~
I didn't want to play FFX-2 after I beat FFX a year ago, because the ending was just so perfect that it didn't need a sequel.
Ah, FFX. The last good FInal Fantasy game...

Don't even get me started on FFXIII. Biggest let down of my gaming career. I could care less about it's initial linearity, but the fact that the only thing you could do in that game was either walk, battle, or watch cutscenes made the game the most lacking RPG of all time. And the characters/villians? Yeesh.

Cinkel Anon Did I play FFX? I can't remember. Jason: I'll jog yer memory! You don't want that, trust me... It's the one containing such characters as... TIDUS, the speedy sword-wielding blitzer hero guy. YUNA, the white mage/summoner/Colette figure! KIMAHRI, the giant blue Ronso dragoon/blue mage dude! AURON, the awesome guy with the sunglasses, red coat, and sword! RIKKU, thief girl, not to be confused with Riku! LULU, the black mage with the dress made out of belts and whose weapon is a battle doll thing, like a Cactuar or something! WAKKA, the blitzer dude with the fancy Jamaican or whatever accent!

Evilweirdo 0 WHAT?! SERIOUSLY?! @Sirea: I haven't played FFX-2. Is it good? I've heard bad things about it. Yeah...for me, I didn't mind it too much. The only playable characters from the main cast are Yuna and Rikku. Basically the whole story is that Yuna goes on this treasure hunt, hoping to find clues about Tidus. And yeah, Auron's awesome! XD I laugh every time a monster gets sent flying out of the battlefield when I use his Shooting Star Overdrive.

ShinjroAragaki Untrue. FFXIII was actually pretty good. I really like it. Still need to play FFX. I liked FFXIII. I really don't see what all the big deal is. I mean, just because it's different from the other games, doesn't mean it has to get bashed for it. FFXIII kinda reminds me of FFVII in some ways. ^_^

AURON IS AWESOME. Sadly, I didn't get Banishing Blade or that whirlwind overdrive, but he's still awesome. I loved using Shooting Star on those giant flan enemies! Hey, is Final Fantasy 12 (XII) any good? I know I'm a nerd when I really learned my Roman numerals from Final Fantasy...

The big deal is that it was all style and no substance. Had it been my first JRPG that I have ever played, then maybe, maybe I would like it. But since it decided to toss out everything that made JRPGs JRPGs, because they figured pretty graphics were more important than towns and NPCs, initial exploration, sidequests, minigames, etc, ...Because of that, they deserve the hate they got.
And you know, I was one of it's biggest supporters when it first came out: "The battles are fun and the story is coool!". But then, slowly and surely, I learned of the shallow beast it truly was: "Yeah...My millionth battle...Yeah...Can I explore a town now? Oh God, will you just shut up already Hope and Vanille? And where the hell is the awesome main villain?"
The repetition finally got to me, and now I'm one of it's biggest anti-advocates. If only they added more content to it, then I would love it, because the battles are fun; but dammit, I need breaks between battles before I crumple from exhaustion...

@Sirea: <3@Evil: XII is alright. Its different but I enjoyed it. Its pretty damn hard though. @Chase: Yeah, I do see your point. Guess it just appealed to me more. I didn't really mind the lack of towns. But they had really good character development. Mostly for Hope. I thought I would hate him forever but he slowly grew on me.

X-2 has like 3 different endings to it, depending on what you do. I tried to get the Perfect Ending, but I decided to just forget it and beat the final boss. I've never played FF12, but my sister told me that it wasn't very good. @ Grand: I don't really much care for side-quests, minigames, and such. I only play for the story as long as it holds my interest.
