Kire Kaysan Hello everyone. I saw Star Trek this weekend too. I liked it, & it fit in well with the original series from what I can remember Well, ye-ees, but... Spock-the-elder's journey, or more specifically, Nero's journey before Spock-the-elder, shunted that entire universe into another dimension. Vulcan's destruction kinda cements that fact; this ain't your parents' Star Trek universe, and from now on, ANYTHING GOES. Hopefully, they'll keep writing and character development at the forefront. smile

@Rica tis my job to spread the loves! *drowns in love*
@aretoo I actually like how they explained the differences (as if I would've known the difference) I hate when they make differences in origin stories that are so dramatic and then give no reason.

I'm yet to see either film. I want to see both. I've read angels and demons and loved it. I think I might go watch Star Trek after work in a couple of hours or so.
@ Invis: well I haven't seen Divinchi Code or read it, but I think the odd feeling I hve about Angels and Demons is that I don't imagine Robert Langdon to be anything like Tom Hanks. I Imagine him to be a bit more rough around the edges. Kind of like a not-so-active Indiana Jones.

I saw the Da Vinci Code (my thoughts toward it are 'meh'. In terms of books, I liked Angels & Demons better anyway) and it's not like Tom Hanks was bad as Robert Langdon, but I'm still not happy with that casting.
Though for some reason, I think having Ewan McGregor as the Camerlengo is really good. I dunno why. I haven't read the book in ages, but something about having him in that role is just...yeah. Or maybe I just like Ewan McGregor XP

Yeah, I just kinds think from the previews Tom Hanks seems too clean and suited up for like a fancy dinner party. It also looks (and from the roles he usually does) like he'd be the kid of character to just stand there and ramble on about history like a teacher XD but anywho, I shall still go to see it, just wanna see how they do it.

I'm probably gonna buy the book later this week, but I likely won't get to reading it until after re-reading pretty much the entire Harry Potter series again ( sweatdrop I had forgotten the movie was slated to come out this summer)
