"If you stay like that, you won't feel the pain." He threaded his fingers into Kankuros hair and gave a soft sigh. "I don't know what else I can do to make you comfortable here. I'm sorry." I don't care what he said, I am starting to act like a girl and get all mushy.

"Will... you try something for me?" Kankuro suddenly asked, his head subconsciously moving closer to the petting hand. "Stay close to me while I try to sleep?" He pulled back to look Zaku in the eyes, unease clear in his own.

"No problem, I can sleep with my eyes closed." Zaku said then laughed at his stupid joke. "I'll stay with you as long as you want me to, Kankitty. I'm all yours." he leaned his head down to give Kankuro a kiss, then got more comfortable himself.

Kankuro'd returned the kiss, then waited for Zaku to get settled. Resting his head back, he stared at the ceiling for a few moments, before closing his eyes, good arm tucked around the other male. His breathing started slowing as he shifted to try and sleep. Soon, he was unconscious, still holding onto Zaku tightly.

Zaku was woken up by someone shaking him. He opened his eyes and glared to find Kin standing over him with a smile on her face. "Hey there, sleeping beauty."
He rolled his eyes at her then sat up slowly so not to wake Kankuro. "Kin, did you need something?" he whispered back.
She sat down in the chair and crossed one leg over the other. "I couldn't wait until later to ask. Did Dosu come find you yet?" thats when her eyes noticed the bruises. "I see that he did. Didn't even wait for you to heal before he jumped you huh?" she giggled a bit behind her hand. "He's been really fidgety and even more easily aggravated since you left. Now that he's...seen you, I hope he calms down."
Zaku gave a bit of a sigh, casting a glance at Kankuro to make sure he was still sleeping. "What do you want?"
"Are you going to come back with us and take the job?"
He frowned. "Job? What are you talking about?"
Kin blinked a few times. "He didn't tell you? Dosu went to one of the clubs, 'The Catacombs', and gave them that CD you made. They liked what they heard and want you to come and give them a live sample of your stuff."
Zakus eyes went wide. "Wh-what?"
She beamed at him. "Isn't it great! Your dream is going to come true! We just have to get back to the city by Sunday so you can play for them or they'll find someone else."
He too started grinning as he was filled with happiness and excitement...until he remembered who was lying next to him. He looked down at Kankuro and his heart sank. If I go, it'd probably be a long time before I saw him again. But this is what I've always wanted, it's my chance to show everyone what I can do. He cursed as he became torn in two.

He turned the contact into a full kiss, a hand moving up to cup the redhead's cheek as he leaned forwards enough for the both of them to be comfortable. ((for hime-chan, if she ever decides to post in here again ninja )) (( I honor you all with my prescence!! <:X . . . Is my name now an honorrific? yay!! )) Sasori didn't have time to mumble a comeback before a pair of lips shut firmly over his. One hand went up to the blonde's cheek, mimicing Deidara's movements as his other hand draped itself across the larger male's back.

Kankuro wasn't exactly as asleep as Zaku hoped. He'd woken easily when Kin entered the room. He could sleep with Zaku next to him, but very lightly. He continued to play sleeping, though, his heart thudding in his chest a little harder as he heard what was up. You should go... You should say you'll go with them. If someone likes your music, you shouldn't pass up the chance to do what you wanted to do all along... Leave me. He couldn't help but shift slightly in his 'sleep' at that, but it looked like he was shifting from a dream, more then anything.
Deidara smirked into the kiss, running his tongue along Sasori's lips. It would really suck if someone walked in on us, un.... he then thought to himself, but ignored it, and continued to kiss the drama teacher.

"I-I don't know. I'll need to think about it a bit first."
Kin frowned. "You've changed, Zaku. Normally you would have been running around the room screaming at hearing this." her eyes drifted to the other male. "Is he that important to you? Important enough that'd you'd give up your dream?"
"I don't need to give anything up, Kin. I don't want to give him up." the second part was said quietly. he brought his hand up to run his fingers through Kankuros hair. "I need to take care of my Kitty."
She sighed and got up from the chair. "I'll come talk to you again in a couple days when you've had more time to think about it." She headed over to the door and stopped before she went out. "I don't know if it'll make any difference, but Dosu and I've really missed you. Especially him though he'd never admit it." with that she left the room, shutting the door behind her.
After she was gone, Zaku lay back down next to Kankuro, his mind to full of thoughts to let him sleep.

The smaller male's right hand, which had rested on the blonde's cheek, shifted to drap across Deidara's back, joining its left side companion. Sasori's thought drifted around erractically, not really pausing on one thought process for too long. At the tongue knocking on his lips, the red head meekly opened up.

Kankuro shifted, turning his head to look at the ceiling. "Deals like that don't give second chances." He grunted. "You could go big with that. People'll hear you, recommend their friends. Then the higher-ups'll hear you, and offer you better deals. It's the only way to go." he didn't seem to want to meet Zaku's eyes.
Deidara's tongue slid in, a slightly pleased sound escaping from him. His arms switched to both wrap around Sasori's waist, tugging him a little closer. After a bit of exploring, by the time the both of them needed to breath, he was content. Panting lightly, he pulled the smaller male into a hug as he nuzzled his neck. "You sure the soup 'n' salad place is okay for lunch? We could go somewhere else, if you wanted, un." he murmured.

Sasori gave a dazed blinked, his brain still goopy-fied from the little session they just had. When all coherent thought came back the red head gave nodd, "Yes, I'm sure it'll be great... that is, if you still want to go?" The smaaler male gave a sigh, burrowing his face into Deidara's shoulder while he relaxed into the mass of body heat they had building up.

Deidara gave a soft laugh. "Of course I want to go, un!" he murmured cheerfully. "I haven't been there in a while, and now i'll get to go with you, un!" He held the smaller male for a bit, keeping them in a comfortable embrace. After a few, though, he pulled away and smiled.
"I've still got some e-mail from the school board I gotta read before next class hour starts. Should I meet you here at lunch, or do you want to meet me at my room, un?" Deidara asked, helping Sasori move so the taller male could get up, and then he helped the smaller male up.

Sasori gave a small nodd, taking the hand he was offered and getting up. "In your room if that's okay..." The re dhead brushed up imiginary dirt from the seat of his pants before giving Deidara a small smile and then a kiss for the road. "Hope you survive the next three periods!" joked the male as he waltzed over to the chalkboard, getting ready to write out new directions for the next class.

"You too, Koi, un." Deidara said with a smile, and headed out. Closing the door behind him, he hummed lightly as he returned to his room, sitting down at the computer to read his e-mail. "Hmm? School trip? This early into the year, un?" the blond asked himself aloud, then started reading the details.
By the time the bell rang for the next class, he was done checking things, and had instructions on the board for the students to work on.
