Shikoba poked his tongue at him before he rummaged in the fridge for something quick that didn't require cooking but was still edible.
------------
Alexis smiled sweetly, her hand moving still over her friend's wings, cuddling closer and putting her head on the other woman's stomach gently. She had missed her friend dearly and was taking comfort in keeping her close in touching distance...
------------
Asher ran a hand through her hair, threading his figners through it just to feel the strands. He didn't want to bring her death...simply pleasure...and pleasure was what he was coaxing out, or trying too as he showered in his kisses and attention, that only a lover could give....

Tristam resist the urge to grab the other's tongue, his tail swishing rapidly behind him. He sat down and waited, grinning slightly as he watched.

His tail swished about behind him as he grabbed up makings for a sandwhich...including fish of some sort. Go figure. He was an otter...he liked fish.

Rin was absolute putty in Asher's hands, purring more then she had in ages as she absolutely loved what he was doing to her. She loved her daughter, but as she stood adoring the attention and affection, se knew even she would snap a bit at the child. It was rather rare that they had this time alone together, more would come when the children had a room to themselves, she didn't want this moment to end.
There were many times, when a kiss hit just the right spot or he did something else especially pleasureful, that she forgot to try and return what she was getting and just took it all with pure joy. In time, she remembered and continued letting one hand explore from his neck to heading downward. Exploring a body she may have memorized but never grew the least bit board by it as she loved to caress the skin never shying from the scars or giving them too much attention.
Roxie looked to the door she entered in and frowned expressing her displeasure, "Where are Daddy? He is supposed to bring Mommy to feed me." She crossed her arms then started to leave the library to get her father.
JC figured he couldn't just let her do that, as amusing as it might be, there is the chance he might need the favor returned, so he went ahead of Roxane to keep her occupied, "The correct grammar is where is, not where are, Roxane. Why don't I just make you something?" He asked smoothly, and hid a grin, miss smart mouth was about to say something he would no doubt find amusing, where did she get that wit?
Roxie didn't disappoint she pointed out easily, "You don't eat like regular people, you can't cook. You might poison me." Her arms were crossed and there was a look of absolute seriousness that was completely comical on her young, child features.
JC found that assumption amusing for many reasons, not short of if he did anything that so much as mad the child sick, friendship wouldn't be enough to protect him from a father, and more worrisome, Mother and Aunt's anger. "Tell you what," he teased, "If the food poisons you, you call tell your Aunt Anita to shoot me, how about that." A grin did appear on his alabaster face as she looked like she was honestly contemplating the proposition.
Roxie thought it over and her smooth features scrunched together as she obviously found fault in the logic, "If I am poisoned, I'd be dead and then I couldn't tell Aunt Anita anything." There was a pout on her features, feeling her point made and not appealing to him with cuteness to make him agree.
JC grinned again and told her swiftly, taping her nose, "Not my problem, now is it? Come little kitten, lets get you something to eat." He reached down with his hand, and for as much of a cynic as she was being, Roxie took it and allowed him to lead her to the kitchen, the little argument enough to distract her from going to get her father.

Tristam hide his grin as his eyes watched the otter's tail a bit too intensively. His elbow rested on the table, his fingers lightly hiding his mouth.

from hereIt had been a rather quiet trip over from his place to here. He had been unable to not go over what had happened and Zaro still looked sickly.
He knocked at the door, hoping that Raven wasn't the one to open the door as he was certain she'd have a go at him for mistreating Zaro or something equally stupid, without knowing the facts.

Shikoba left the ingredients on the counter with another little swish of his tail as he gathered something for them both to drink. He set down one drink before Tristam and went about closing the door and starting on sandwhichs...

Asher simply scooped her up into his arms and slithered away to somewhere more private. Roxie was being entertained and both boys seened to be out of the house with their aunt...It was mommy and daddy alone time...

Zaro had followed behind her master to the house, her hands in front of her as she did so. Her eyes were casted down as her face was pale...almost ghostly pale. Her wings were as limp as they could go and she was a little surprised she even had the strength to keep up with Joe, let alone keep standing where she was.
Varien wandered from his seat in the living room, his furry ear twitching as he listend to the knock on the door. His tail had curled up to rest on his back while his sarong/poofy pants swished as he walked. He was barefoot today, his mind on several planes of thought as he opened the door.
He eyed the man before him, not seeing the small bird behind him. What answered was a soothing if stern voice that was monotoned. "Can I help you?"

Rin looped her arms around his neck and relaxed in her love's arms as she was carried away. With a pur to him, she smiled and waited so glad for the moments she'd have alone with her Asher. Roxie hadn't come out so she knew her daughter was safe with JC and her sons were out with their aunt, no worries of anyone disturbing alone time so long overdue.
Roxie waited in the kitchen, supervising JC's every move as he made her a sandwich. Constantly she had to tell him he was putting the wrong things on the sandwich. It led her to wonder how he ever survived when he obviously couldn't even make a simple sandwich. Her arms were crossed, cheeks puffed out and an angry frown that doubled as a pout showed clearly she was not happy.
JC was just plan having fun, he knew how to make what Roxie wanted, but he was giving her a hard time by picking items never to be put together. Ham and peanut butter for example, the great actor he was, he managed not to grin at the child's protests as he played around with her and the food.

Whilst to Zaro, it wouldn't have looked like he cared about how she was feeling, he had slowed his walk down for her on the way over and kept an eye on her, though not directly.
Once the door had opened, he had been about to tell the person infront of him that he needed to see Arioch when he became aware that infront of him stood a barely dressed man. And not bad looking at that.
He smiled at Varien, all his anxiousness and anger gone instantly.
"I think you might be able to help me, I'm Joe"
He introduced himself, unable to not take in the beauty infront of him, extending his hand to shake Variens before moving slightly to the side to let Zaro be noticed.
"That's Zaro, and no, she doesn't need a doctor, she just needs a female-free safe place for a bit whilst I talk to Arioch"

Tristam eyed the drink for a moment before he watched after Shikoba again. His tail curling about his waist tightly as he watched him. "Shikoba..." He called for his attention, thought he was sure he didn't need to. "Exactly what do you do for fun besides swim in the lake for oysters?"

Shikoba blinked at him a moment. "Not alot I guess...Why?"
He asked quietly whilst working on the sandwhichs.
Varien's unwavering gaze locked onto Joe and he raised an eyebrow. he hadn't said anything about the bird, let alone did he really care what happened.
"Varien and what help can I do for you?" He murmured in that monotone voice of his.

Jealousy smiled as she felt her dear friend rest upon her, softly sifting her hair through her fingers. She missed contact.....she missed people.....she missed friends. It felt nice to be around someone that cared. Then again, it was just nice in general to be around someone else.

Joe smiled disarmingly at the look he received. He was a little suprised that Varien hadn't shaken his hand though it made him suspect that he had been warned of the young incubus and his ability to draw his victims into his aura via touch.
"Has anyone ever told you you're a really good looking man?"
He asked, much prefering to admire Varien than deal with the problems he had come here to deal with.

Alexis drifted to a napping state, hugging the demon close like she was a big teddy bear. It was a light nap, one that could be easily disturbed if need be.

Aurora floated downstairs without a sound but what looked to be wind blowing past miscellaneous items. She was invisible to most people, being a ghost and all. She hummed softly, the soft haunting female voice seemingly being heard from no where.
She spotted the door being open, Varien standing there and Joe seemingly oogling at the stoat. She giggled a little and came to lean on the stoat. “Who is he?” She asked softly and sweetly.
Varien didn’t buy the disarming smile. He dealt with people who smiled liked that and most wanted money so Varien just gave a cold smile to Joe.
“What purpose do you have here other then to flirt with someone out of your league?” He requested smoothly, not letting Joe slip away. Hearing Aurora’s voice though, he smiled even broader. “Apparently our dear guest thinks we can help him out though he will not say with what or with whom given he is too busy being distracted.”
He enhaled sharply, smelling lust, fear, sickness and even the cold graveyard feel of death from Aurora’s ghostly presence.
Zaro scuffled her feet a little as she stood there, lifting tentative eyes to Varien who seemed to have ignored her. She glanced even more shyly to her master before squeaking when Varien spoke to another who wasn’t present. She became confused but didn’t say anything.

The slightest pout showed at Varien's smile. There was no warmth in it and he knew he'd have to invest time if he wanted to sleep with Varien.
"You'd be suprised who is and who isn't out of my league"
He assured Varien. There was only one who was out of his league as far as he was concerned, and even from her, he'd stolen a kiss earlier.
The ghostly voice made his eyes go wide though.
"Ventriloquist?"
He asked Varien, not seeing Aurora though instinctivly moving sideways a little, hiding the little bird behind him.
