If only I could protect you, take your pain in your place, that way I wouldn't be so much of a burden to you." Reigen finally looks up at Kieiru her face covered with tears. "I just don't want you to have to get hurt anymore. I want you to be safe. I want you to be with me, but safe with me."

Kieiru looked at her, frowning sadly, before kissing her softly, closing his eyes. His thumb stroked her cheek gently, as he pulled away. "I...I wish...I wish...I wish, that...I couldnt get hurt anymore, but still protect you...I will protect you...no matter what..."

"I won't let you get hurt again Kieiru. Not at my expence, I'll get stronger. I promise...just please...don't leave me again." Reigen hugs to Kieiru desprately afraid to let go as she continues to sob softly into his chest.

Reigen looks up at Kieiru calming down slightly. "Promise me you won't leave me again. I don't want you to ever. If noting ever remains constant in my life I want to know that at least you'll always be by my side."

Reigen's sobs start turning into slight hick ups as she starts to calm down. she hugs Kieiru tightly as she snuggles against his chest. "I love you, Kieiru...you know I do."

Realizing that they were both on the floor Reigen quick went to stand and attempted to help up Kieiru as well. Still hick-uping a bit from the effects of her previous sobs.

Kieiru smiled, standing with relative ease. He went back over to his bed, and sat down, rubbing his head. He sighed, and started to unravel the bandaging around his head, revealing a small bald spot where the doctors stitched his gash. He put his hand over the scar, sighing as a small area of black fuzz rubbed against his hand. "Im going bald at twenty one...thats a first..."
