*Pops in, and looks around. Seeing the dirty plate on the table, she grabs it and heads to the sink to wash it. After washing she sticks it with the rest of the plates, then looks around to see what else needs to be cleaned.*

Darien walks into the kitchen slowly and cautiously, he is a little nervous, but more anxious then anything, he always wanted to see Hogwarts and now he has the chance. He doesn't want to screw anything up, he looks around at the others, not really directing his attention to anyone in particular "Umm... They told me to come here, its my first day"

Darien looks around noticing a bit of the floor that is a bit dirty, " well I gotta start somewhere", he looks around until he finds a bucket and a big sponge, he fills the bucket with water and soap and begins scrubbing. "Can't have a dirty hogwarts" As he continues scrubbing he notices a little bug crawling out of a crack in the floor, " hey little thing, how are you" it is silent, scurrying, probably looking for scraps," sorry, but we cant really have bugs in a kitchen" Darien goes and finds a small dustpan and scoops up the little bug, he takes him out of the kitchen and finds a nice window to let him off, " now go along and stay away from the kitchen," he smiles and heads back to scrub the kitchen.

As Darien finishes up scrubbing he looks around to see what else needs to be cleaned,
"hmm... well it looks like the other house elves are doing a pretty good job, I think I will clean some of the dishes and then go cleaning around the Great Hall, I suppose those students can be pretty messy at times."
He smiles imagining all the students running to class, learning magic spells and so many other different things, he would really like to be up there with them. He begins doing the dishes, scrubbing every bit to make sure all of the plates and glasses are sparkly clean.

"aah, finally done!" He smiles in triumph as he looks upon all the finely clean dishes.
"Now off to the Great Hall!" He finishes giving the sink a quick cleaning, puts all the cleaning supplies in a bucket, he finally closes the door and heads to clean The Great hall.

He arrives at The Great Hall and sees, to his delight, that the mess is larger than usual.
"The sweet little children must know how much i love cleaning up there messes"he thought to himself with a smile. biggrin

He starts at the staff table and is very careful when he gets near the headmasters chair. He works his way down the staff table and cleans the house tables thinking about how dirty they would be tommorow and once again smiled in delight. He finished cleaning The Great Hall after about two hours and went back to the kitchen.

He pops back into the Kitchen,"hmmm...now where is that ladder?"
After some brief searching and A LOT of rummaging he managed to find a supply closet, but to his dismay he only found a small stool," well hopefully this will work, even though I highly doubt it,"
He grabbed the stool and glumly made his way back to the Great Hall.

* Finished the last of the dishes from dinner, she looks around the kitchen and sees that it is spotless from the other elves. She startes to wonder if the common rooms are empty yet so she can clean up in there, but decides it still might be too early. She instead heads out into the halls, knowing that the students are allowed out at this time of night, and starts picking up any rubbish lying around in the halls before she starts sweeping*
