Chaos Blue Celeblin Galadeneryn TeaDidikai ShadowCatSoul I do believe in therians, which I consider different than otherkin, and maybe otherkin is possible, but the people who fake it really make it hard to take those who might really be out there seriously. Delusional- the lot of them. The worst of them turn into Mr. Darks. The best of them grow out of it quickly when they realize they don't need to be something they aren't in order to feel good about themselves. This. Therians are even worse to me in some cases. I speak mostly of the church of Therians there. It's full of hand waving and bullshit.

Chaos Blue Wait, how? It's my understanding that there's a fuzzy line between Therian and Otherkin. Therians believe themselves to either have the soul of an animal, or actually be that animal. Mostly, though, they're normal Earth animals. Like having the soul of a wolf or a turtle. Otherkin usually believe they have the soul of or are a re-incarnated form of some mythical creature. In other communities that get a little weird, people believe they are the reincarnations of characters from things like books, TV shows, or anime. Otherkin believe in the multiple universe thing, where there are so many universes, anything that could possibly happen has happened. At least, that's what I've gathered from sites and talking to people who claim to be otherkin. So yes, there is a fuzzy line between therians and otherkin.

Onto why they're worse: NONE OF THEM SEEM TO ******** UNDERSTAND ANIMALS. They say they are like animals because they are like an anthropomorphism of that animal. They don't know the actual ******** traits of that animal. They're just foxes because they're sly and s**t. At least with Otherkin who think they are alternate humanoids, they can plead similar brain structure, even if they are still Mr Dark as hell.

It's expected that if one makes a statement as absolute truth they should be able to back it up.

She made it sound like a statement. I'm not doubting her, nor am I trying to start anyting, I'm very open minded about most things.
