Alright, I just did a look over his point value and such. Let me explain this via PM, guild rules and all for individual point values and such, but I figure I might as well get this through and explain why he's such and such points. XD
Also, yeah, the Islander is AMAZING. I don't really listen to Amaranth all that much, as I end up just hitting random. biggrin
EDIT: To continue with this conversation and not let it die, I'm trying to create another special character for friendly games, and I'm trying to make an HQ Chaos Dreadnought. One thing I have for making these characters say that, for Space Marines, you take the HQ you base it off of (say, a Lord for Chaos's case) and add fifty points along with the point value of your lord, equipment and all, but you get to pick out what guns the Dreadnought gets for free.
How the hell should I work this one out and still make it fair? XD

Look at the points cost for the Dreadnought, and then start deciding with kind of gear you want it to have. For the gun that you're putting on it, look at what the closest contemporary is as far as power and shot number for points there. Depending on what all gets added, you might end up adding a lot of points.
Start with a solid base, start adding points slowly as you go.

From the Dreadnought?
It ended up being a Khornate Lord encased within the Dreadnought.
Stats I'm thinking:
WS6 BS5 S6(10) I5 A4 AV 13-13-11
Weapons: 2x Dreadnought CCW, Molten Brass Cannon
Skills: Bloodfury
Molten Brass Cannon: Calling upon the unholy wrath of Khorne's realm, [Name of Lord] calls forth gouts of molten brass to burn away those that would oppose him. The weapon has the following profile:
S6 AP3 Assault 1 Template
Bloodfury: Already crazed in his devotion to the Lord of Skulls before his near death, [Name of Lord]'s interment into the living death of a Dreadnought Sarcophagus was met with certain...problems. The dark Mechanicus agents that set him into the Dreadnought were immediately slaughtered in the name of Khorne. His fury continued until daemons of Khorne were able to mark the Dreadnought and bless it with weapons from Khorne himself. Their marking of the Dreadnought put [Name of Lord] that much closer in tune with the Lord of Skulls.
At the beginning of every turn, roll a d6 for [Name of Lord]. On a 1 or 2, [Name of Lord] must move toward the nearest enemy, advance toward them an additional d6" in the shooting phase, and then assault if in range.

Yeah, I'd allow it, no major problem in it. Actually, our store manager has a Chaos biker army, only 1000 pts or so.
