Yugi twisted around to watch the plane go further away. "What's the matter? Kira, what's going on?" He was starting to get a little panicked with all of this silence.
Bakura, smirking, lifted the mind barrier he had put on Ryou. He could tell that the boy's mind was made up now, and once he arrived in England and spoke with his father, he'd stay there for a while. This was just as good as putting Ryou away for later use, like he had been trying to do to get the boy into a coma and in an asylum. Away from Kira and the Millennium Items, there was little real damage that would come to him. The only problem for Bakura was that it was too easy to set up...

Kira sighed as her eye trailed down to him "nothing...It's a long story.." she said and picked ishizu up walking twards her apparment.Ishizu was hard to carry.

Yugi struggled for a moment to try and help Kira carry Ishizu, but found it impossible with his small body size. So he just walked besides Kira for now. "I've got time to burn... Don't really want to go home. Atem's in a bad mood and Gramps went to bed."

"Sure," Yugi chirped, beaming brightly. "Say, is Ryou at your place? I need to talk with him..." The truth was, Yugi needed to ask Ryou for help. He couldn't bear having Atem so cruel to him. He knew that it had been happening to Ryou for longer, but it felt worse for the boy than he thought it would feel for Ryou. Because Ryou had to grow with Bakura, not trust his yami for the longest time then be betrayed. Yugi easily could hide his feelings inside of him and put on a cheerful face. Now Yugi wondered if that was exactly what Ryou used to do around the rest of the gang.

Yugi's expression turned blank for a moment. "Oh. Where is he, then?" Yugi's smile bounced back right on his face, unaware of Kira's distress from before.
"Release him, Atem!" Leila cried, pressing her knife against Atem's throat. Atem currently had Khalid in a tight grip around his throat. How, exactly, this came about was beyond Leila. One moment she was speaking with Bakura, then Atem charged in here, Bakura hid, and she quickly jumped into action. "If you can't-- Oof..." Atem turned away from Khalid to grab Leila's shoulders and knee her powerfully in her stomach.
Throwing the girl over his shoulder, Atem looked at Khalid. "You will make Bakura either alter Ishizu's memories as Kira wanted, and I'll return Leila safely to you. If you can't convince him, too bad." Atem said with a snort, quickly turning on his heel and leaving the room, Leila draped over his shoulder.

Yugi's face deepened a little with worry. "Kira..." He reached forward and grabbed her hand to try and stop her from moving any farther. "What's going on? Why won't you tell me anything?" Tears threatened to fall, but he knew that he had already cried enough.

Yugi bit his bottom lip, nodding his head faintly. "Oh." His reply was short, as he slowly absorbed this. Why hadn't Kira just told him when he asked before instead of getting mad at him? "Yeah. Well, if Ryou calls or something..." Yugi paused briefly before turning towards the door. "I'll ask him to leave you a message." Yugi broke into a run, which was oddly impressive, although he wasn't very fast, with his short legs.

Kira now felt bad for yelling at him "kkiirra...your so stupid....no wonder everybodys running away from you." she said to herself.She shut the door and locked it.Setting ishizu on the couch she covered her up.going to the kicthen she swallowed some asprin with the closest thing to her hand,a bottle of vodka.She had passed by the phone and picked up the note ryou had scriibbled.

It was extremely messy, since it was written in a haste and by a blind person. You could still, if you concentrated hard enough, make out the words.
Kira--
I just got a call from my father. He wishes for me to return to England for a year, to stay a little and get some schooling and meet my new stepmother. I want you to know that I didn't leave because of him, Kira, I left for you. I think that if you never met me and knew me, you could've been better. You wouldn't have really had to go through with Bakura and all. You wouldn't have gotten involved with Millennium Items.
Oh, I feel like I'm out of my mind right now. It makes sense to me, and please don't take this the wrong way. I love you. You know that, don't you? But I don't think you and I should be together. It's as I said, I believe. You wouldn't be going through so much physical and mental pain as you are now. You are an amazing girl, Kira. I'm sure that there'll be someone else for you. All you get with me is a scared, weak, boyfriend and a violent yami who doesn't like anybody. Please just forget me. Forget anything you had to go through. I don't want you to spend your life trying to protect people and yourself. You deserve so much better.

Kira was fighting back the tears.After sticking the note in her pocket she went back and got the bottle of vodka going to her room.
