Kibo: Nothing much. I was just thinking about a child that was in the sick bay. It's nothing, really.
---MEANWHILE---
Daniel stirs in his sleep. He flickers open one dull gray eye, somewhat attempting to stare through the white cloth covering his head. He tosses it aside recklessly, sitting up quickly. He looks around, not even realizing he had partially re-opened the wounds on his sides. Anita runs through the door itself.
Anita: Daniel Botch, will you lay down before your wound open up again? Oh, would you look at that, you already did it, fool.
She puts a hand on his forehead, knocking him out cold. She then goes back to work on fixing his wounds... again.

Aubry couldn't think of a rude comeback to what Kibo said, so she kept her mouth shut. she knew that Kibo was trying to get her mind off of Arin, which was a good thing. but then when Sunny picked up on Kibo's discomforts, she realized that he was trying to get his mind off something too.
"is it Daniel?" she asked innocently.

[Hey, what was yesterday's item? I couldn't get a chance to log on; Nathaniel flew in for the holidays.]
Storm gave a grin.
"Because it gives you something interesting to do on cold, lonely nights, yes? And why conform to what everyone else is doing? I mean, how boring would that be, whenever your family got together to plan a war, or assassinate this fellow, or that matron; all you'd come up with are the same, boring and flawed ideas."

((Umm.... It was the Christmas tree hat, I think. You didn't miss much... Just a tree that goes on your head... la dee da.... OH EVERYONE CHECK THEIR PROFILES!!! I GAVE COMMENT LOVE!!!!))
Sunny watched her two friends closely, picking up on a heavy emotional undertone being passed between them. "Is everything okay?" she asked with concern for the child Kibo spoke of. She gently rested a hand on Kibo's arm but looked back at Aubry, telling her with her eyes that she wasn't done talking with her. "You've both got me worried" she pretended to huff, though her voice was laced with genuine worry.

"im fine..." she said. "did you tell Kibo about the store that we were planning to open?" she asked, getting off the subject as quickly as possible.

"It's unlikely that I will...I'm much to cheerful to be coldhearted. Plus, I've never been one to follow the crowd...so it's highly unlikely that I'll be exactly like anyone."

Storm waved away Natasha's missgivings.
"Pish posh, of course you will. Just how many millions are there on this sweet planet of yours? I am positive that you will find another who happens to be just like you. Take Zia and Maida for example; totally unrealated, but still annoying alike."

Aubry smiled. this was the Kibo she knew... trying to show off at any time.
"well, i don't know!" she said dramatically. she changed moods very quickly, getting back to business. "anyway, i have a design, and i wanted your opinion on something as well..." she glanced at Sunny and back to Kibo. "Sunny, will you, um... leave for a moment? i need to talk with Kibo about something..." she was going to talk with him about Sunny's wedding dress of course, and she wanted to ask about Daniel too...

"Huh?" Sunny was caught off guard by their amazing acting capabilities. "Oh, uh... Sure" she said hesitantly before offering a weak smile and beginning to walk off. "I'll meet you at the Godspeed" she said to the two of them before continuing off toward the ship.

once Sunny was gone, she turned to Kibo. her face neutral and calm. "before you get any ideas in your perverted mind, i just wanted to ask about Sunny's wedding dress. i have a design for it, but i want to keep it a surprise... " she gave Kibo a scroll with the design on it, but she had to say a lot, so she switched gears. "and also, i think that you should know that Arin is back. if your memory can go back that far, you will remember that discussion..." she didn't want to repeat it, so she went on another subject, "and also, i wish to know about Daniel... how old is he? and what happened?" she trailed off, realizing that she had gone too far into personal things. "my apologies..." (((btw Kibo, this is what the design of the dress looks like...)))

Kibo steps back at the sudden influx of questions. He quickly regains his composure, however, and decides to handle each situation in order.
Kibo: Alrighty, Aubry. First off, my mind is not perverted. My mind is male. There's a difference. Secondly, this design is perfect, except for one thing. Was she planning on a classical wedding? Because if that was the case, she'll probably want a veil on her dress. As for Arin, he was the boy that kissed you, wasn't he? I have a horrible memory, so please forgive me if I'm thinking of someone else. And as for my son, what is it with your sudden interest in him? The last time I saw him, he was being taken away by Michael. I'm not sure how old he is, but judging from our fight, which, in case you didn't know, was the first time I discovered I even had a son, he looked to be about 12 years old, which makes sense, considering Mary Catherine left 13 years ago.
He had no idea that he had, in fact, been lying next to his son for hours in the sick bay.

"well, i thought that i would get your opinion first, and then start on that design. and Arin was the man that died... does that stir in your memory? and i was just curious about your son to make sure that he was all right, because i was there when Micheal took him, remember? but i guess i have always been a bystander... so it doesn't matter if you didn't know that. Anyway, i was wondering if you could figure out whether Arin died at all or not... are your mancing powers that amazing?" she was expecting Kibo to say that he could...

Kibo: Hrm, I don't remember that boy. Oh well. I guess I could figure it out. But I need to see him for it to work. Let's hope you don't have any bad blood with the boy that'd keep him from being in my company, huh? And I vividly remember your presence in Michael's second attack. You saved my a** a few times. Thank you for those, by the way. You just didn't have that much interaction with my son, if my memory serves me correctly, so I thought it was odd that you would be thinking about him.

"well, considering that he is only a boy confused with what is good and what isn't.... it is a very confusing subject, because all evil is is two people with good intentions but with different opinions..." she paused, letting that sink in before she continued, "and i believe Arin is a few yards behind me, so you can get what he looks like from here, because i am not sure if i can converse with him right now..."
and sure enough, Arin was a few yards behind Aubry. he was wondering if there was a relationship between the man that Aubry was talking to and Aubry. he made eye contact with the man, and nodded politely. he stood up and walked over.
"hello, im Arin Jeffson, who are you?" he introduced himself and put his hand for it to be shook. "hello Aubry..." he said quietly.
Aubry ignored Arin.
"ill meet you at the Godspeed Kibo..." Aubry told Kibo.
As soon as Aubry was gone, he stared at Kibo in the eyes, you couldn't tell if he was mad or not, his black eyes were expressionless.
"so, im curious.... is there a relationship between you and Aubry?" he asked plainly.
