Nar, I don't know why you felt you had to jump on Tutsumi's case. Maybe it's because he's had a habit of being abbrasive in the past. But wouldn't it be better to put that behind us? Be adults about it? There was no reason to pick a fight over his use of the word "term". And no reason to pick a fight over what he said about Gumby's name. Of course he wasn't saying the Gaian user was sullying the name of a cartoon character. Tut was saying, that he wouldn't want to associate the name with his own actions, which may at times be a little on the unsavory side. That part was probably also a joke. Chill, homie. Really. Yes, he's even irked me in the past. Seriously annoyed me. And that's an achievement. But even I looked over the situation, and realized the guy was just joking. Can you just drop it? And if you can't, just don't talk to him. It's that simple. Also, it's even lower for you to get irritated at a third party for chastising you for being immature. H4X is absolutely right. You're just itching for a fight. Other than unnecessary drama, what's the point in it?
Tutsumi, I think you know that you have been a source of drama and even hostility in the guild. Not that I'm saying anything bad about you. It happened. Big wup. It's in the past and it should be forgotten. I think we all get on each other's nerves at some point or another, and we've got some strong personalities in the guild, so it's bound to happen. And you distanced yourself for quite a long time, for whatever reason. Now you seem to want to become active and be everyone's friend. That's great! Really, it's a good thing. Though some of the other members may still have some hard feelings against you. It's not cool and it's a very immature thing, but I guess it happened. So when you're typing sarcasm and not speaking sarcasm, the meaning can be easily confused. Especially with someone with whom you've maybe had issues with in the past. Not that there's anything wrong with sarcasm. It's a favorite form of humor of mine. But with certain individuals, you may want to use it with care. And I didn't find anything offensive about what you said. Just general teasing and joking. No big deal. Am I right?

What the ********. Ok sorry about this and don't get mad at my response automatically.
Just listen to the other side of the story.
I don't want to push this any further, but that's not fair. If you understood why I got on his case then maybe you'd be a lot more harsh with him than with me.
He's done, and is still doing, things that are "not cool" and immature.
And no, we don't know what he meant. He never said and never bothered to clarify. He kept it vague and still hasn't explained if it was a joke or not.
I can't tell if he's joking or making a snide comment. I've known Tutsumi to make snide comments most of the time rather than jokingly. What he said was provoking and also immature.
Yet no one does anything about it, "hawhawha, daw that's a gewd 1 tuttut."

I'm not the only person in that situation who was being immature (Tutsumi), something you seemed to have overlooked and haven't commented yet. You just implied that I was the only one being out of line, which in turn, reinforces him to think that what he did was even "good".
I understand what you're saying, and I know you're trying to be fair and reasonable with what you just said.
But there is a REASON why I got on his case. I didn't do it out of hate or because of the word "term".
He makes provoking comments like that, then calls someone else's response stupid (without good reason), then that person gets punished for commenting back and he walks away spitting on the ground with a tap on the wrist like he didn't do anything wrong.
It makes me sick, it really does. He continues to repeat the wrong and doesn't learn from it; also not giving a crap about it. I pursued what he did to point this out, believe it or not.
If he was willing to learn from what he did wrong then I could drop the past. But someone who asks for forgiveness and continues to do something wrong knowingly. That's someone who can't be forgiven and can't be overlooked. That's why I got on his case.
You know what, he still won't change after this. It'll just prove my point.
None of you have control over it, only he does. Go ahead and judge me but I know what I'm talking about when I say "this problem will happen again" and on a bigger scale.
You have to call out what both sides did wrong, and treat both on an equal scale.
I don't have a problem with you calling me out on something immature that I did.
BUT I have a huge problem when you don't equally call him out as well. That response you made was not equally punishing and no one else has noticed this.

I'm not mad, and I'm not going to get into much in the way of details. But your attempt to provoke Tut in that manner does nothing to help the logic of any arguments I'd make against Tut. It really does seem to me like an attempt to troll.
If Tut does something to piss me off I'll call him on it. If tut had been the person to continue the argument I'd have called him on it same as I did with you. The point I wanted to get across is I don't care who started it, it should have ended there.
I'm someone who has you and tut on the same level. I don't know either of you aside from in RP posts and the random bits we see here in OOC.
Right now just take a bit and chill out over this, please.
edit 8:16 PM: ok, sorry for my mistake, to clarify I mean the manner of doing something which others could interpret as provoking him after a third party tried to suggest it needed to stop

Nar, I am the last person to let Tutsumi get by with a slap on the wrist when he's done wrong. Why? Because he's done plenty to aggravate me and even piss me off in the past. At one point, I could have honestly said that I thoroughly disliked the guy and didn't want anything to do with him. I have no reason to treat him any better than anyone else in this guild. Really, I would treat him harsher than you, considering I've never had trouble out of you before.
But, like any reasonable person should, I always try to forget insults and grievances, and put it behind me. Part of the reason is that, like myself, I'm pretty sure Tutsumi is a young person. Young enough that he's still maturing and probably still has a lot of growing up to do. Also, he was absent from the guild for a very long time. In that time, he may have changed. People do change, Nar, whether you can accept that or not.
And I'm not saying Tutsumi can do no wrong. I feel that he lost his temper when you starting getting on his case. And that's not right. He should have immediately asked you what kind of problem you had and ended it. But, honestly, I may have done the same thing, and I'm nothing like Tutsumi.
But I also feel like you were waiting for him to make a snide remark based on what his previous actions were and jumped on him over something small. Maybe you weren't doing this intentionally. Maybe you just don't like the guy and so you naturally took what he said in a negative way. But that's what you did wrong, Nar. Just because you don't like him for what he's done before, that doesn't mean you can jump him for every remark he makes.
Nutshell:
Tut made a joke. You took it the wrong way. You jumped on him for no reason. Tut got mad for it and chewed you out, instead of handling it in a more responsible manner. You didn't let it go.
The both of you did wrong!
And I have looked back. Several times. And as a non-biased outside party.
Now, just like H4X said, let's all chill out.

Sorry about the things in the past though, at least with you personally.
As for the guild, well, I did do what I could have to help build things back after I had my little tangent way back when, even against Gaia mod approval, because this place is the one place I've really felt at home at on Gaia. Banned, removed, left, demoted, promoted, regular member; I still always look around and see what I can't do behind the scenes. You are free to ask either Kaimen or Neko about that.
As for what the past few posts were about, I won't even touch. Enough was said and yes, it was a joke and Iri was 100% correct in the way I meant it. The sarcasm was intended to show when I used the blaugh emote, though I guess that kinda wasn't too...valid of a way to say it?
