Andy1989 Hello! I am a Bass Clarinetist! I guess Bass Clarinet works here...Even though I'm in the Low Brass Section in Buena High School (Sierra Vista, Arizona). I play Clarinet for leisure and Bass Clarinet for band. I've played Clarinet since 5th grade (earliest I could) and Bass Clarinet since 6th grade (the earliest I could go to the bass). My Clarinet is green! hehe. Here's the proof!bass clarinets are in the clarinet section and they do count mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen

Hi. I've been playing clarinet for over four years now, I'm in middle school, and I've been in All-State and All-County, along with a youth 'state' symphony. Band is sooooo much fun. ^_^ I was fifth chair in All-State last year. (I got really mad at myself because I stopped during my audition and thought I would get the lowest first chair, and then I got there and discovered that I played waaaay better than the second... >_< I was really mad, and told myself to practice even more -like every day isn't enough- so that I could get higher next time, or closer to that other guy, the first chair, cuz he was AMAZING!) But I have to try for High School All-State next year, so I'm worried about my scales. sad I hate scales and thirds. (My teacher would kill me if she heard me say that...)
I'll probably be in marching band next year, but I'm starting to think otherwise because of all the stuff I'm gonna have to do. O.o Lessons, practicing, Symphony, HOMEWORK. GAH! >_< so much...
OK, I'm going to stop rambling on now and go look more around the guild forums. Bye!

Clarinets are the greatest instrument. Period. Though they can be a little annoying at times, but so am I, and that's why I play one blaugh
Unfortunately, I still have a Buffet E-11...I'm po'...but I'm getting an R-13 this year heart
I've been playing since sixth grade, and I'm going into ninth gonk but I'm still excited. I've been first chair All-City one and a half times [long story] and I made the All-Region Symphonic Band both eligible years...but I have a feeling high school is going to be extremely different sad

Clarinets are the greatest instrument ever! I mean really, its the best sound, the best size ( my bro plays the trombone), and the best opprotunity. You can go to bass clarinet or you can go to e flat clarinet.

I'm just starting to play Clarinet. Originally, I didn't want to.. I wanted so much more to play alto sax or trumpet... But our band needed clarinet players, so I took it upon myself to volunteer lol.
It's weird for me thought because I'm a string player =| Wind instruments are a little awkward for me..
