"The marks have very few people who can read them with several inaccuracies plus myself and my ex, Enaia. For the people chasing me, they're really aggravating," Tex hummed sweetly as his gentle smile flashed a bit more devious. How much you wanna bet 'I wouldn't dare'? If you guys just... Toned it down a bit then most likely more can be accomplished than screeching in unison. That hurts a lot more than you think it does. Trust me when I say, I didn't mean to invade your sweet li'l Melody's head. It just happens. That screeching and talking all at once will drive people to insanity. You almost did that last time. Since I still know how to help awaken her when you need her to, can you just do me the favor of being less screechy and forceful? Personal experience with Captain Crazy in my head- I'm NOT crazy, Tex! -has come to show that force doesn't always get results. I mean, it's sweet what you're all trying to do in helping her and all that other lovely stuff that you're doing, but even the devils below coerce angels above to awaken. Do you get my point or am I just leaving you all questioning my sanity?

(Sorry for not replying a lot today... I made it up with having giant posts... xD I've just been really sluggish today and a friend was over. Plus thinking for me right now is really hard. xD But I usually write a lot more or a lot less during these times. :3 Is it obvious which one I'm doing? )
Melody giggled as she nodded. "Even so, I think they are much better to look at then to actually read. Even if it might be interesting to read..." Scars and tattoos had always fascinated her even though she herself would never want a tattoo or purposefully scar herself. In fact she was so careful in handling herself that she had no scars at all. She sighed as she closed her eyes now. The day had been a boring one, where she was already tired, so the sudden burst of excitement was leaving her almost drained of energy. Almost like an energy drink.
There was only silence as Tex began to "speak" to the voices. All at once they suddenly burst into laughter. It quickly became giggles as the gentle voice spoke up again, her voice sounding as if she were smiling. 'Dear, you are blowing this out of proportion this time... I knew not to screech, and hopefully they'll listen to me more often. They were riled up because for the first time in over a hundred years our Daughter of the Bloodline did not possess her true appearance... Her ears and tail. We were scared she would die if we waited any longer.'
A gentle laugh like bells rang hypnotically into his mind. Her voice was so soothing as it seemed to almost caress Tex. 'Your sanity is long gone,' she teased, 'but that doesn't mean you can't think in a sane manner. You need to think less critically and seriously about what we say. The devil and angel are only symbolic. Sometimes it takes something truly evil to make something truly pure.' Even though what she said wasn't completely correct in this case, it was close enough to prove her point hopefully. 'Dear Tex, you helped cease our worry before, but now that we know... Your hand is unnecessary this time. It doesn't mean you may not help if you really want to.'

"If you're tired, Melody, you can go take a nap. I can find my way around here and I rarely sleep so it's no real big concern of mine to get a room," Tex chuckled lightly as he lightly patted her on the hand. Nice to know you think of me the same way everyone else does; too serious and critical. That's because you're no fun. Well now that we're not needed, I can drag Tex away and save him some magic in erasing Melody's and the others in this house's memories. Yay. Shut up, Texenius... A sigh echoed in Tex's head as he glanced at the floor a little sadly. It's fine. We should just let things run their course. If I'm unnecessary, I won't intervene. If it's necessary that I intervene, then I will. If my presence here causes anyone endangerment though and I just vanish from their memories, just keep me ever being here a secret. No mind digging magic can touch ancestors speaking to their young ones after all.

Melody glanced up at Tex and gave him a questioning look. "Are you sure you'll be alright?" She barely held back a yawn as she covered her mouth with a hand. "Well, okay then... If you do need anything I don't mind you waking me up." When he patted her hand she smiled and placed her feet on the ground. "My door is usually locked, though, so you will have to knock to get my attention. I'm a light sleeper so I'm sure I will be able to hear it." With a quick nod she stood up and headed upstairs to her room.
The voice chuckled in a way as if it were shaking it's head. "Yes, Tex, it's true, but that can't be helped. You've lived for many years and had that long to be childish. You undoubtedly cast nonsense aside by this time. But I can be mistaken, I am only a voice now that knows only her own past. Whatever I say can be misleading." She chuckled again when Texenius spoke up. "Oh, but you are still needed, Tex," her voice rang out bubbling with laughter. "Even a rewind cannot change a young girl's heart." Now most of the other voices began to laugh.

"I'm sure. Good night, Melody. Rest well," Tex murmured softly although Melody was already out of the room. He sat down on the couch again before curling up into a ball at the end of the couch. No we're not needed! We can leave and not get him too attached to these guys! I don't need him going back into a depression over leaving people and wiping their memories as he leaves! Shut up, Texenius... I'm already attached to them. Just that short time with them and they've already grown on me... I hate my life... Great... He's already hit depression that he can hide behind false smiles... I knew I should've dragged him away when those guards brought us here the first time.

(Oh, that's cool Wolf-dage. :3 Looks very sexy. xD And sorry, I'm very brain dead right now...)
The voice seemed a little upset now, as well as some of the others. "I'm sorry, Tex, I didn't think you'd be upset... Why is it you hate being attached to people? For whatever reason you have it will most likely not apply to Melody. She is definitely different than the rest." The voice began to scold Texenius. "Oh, don't be so cold. Maybe you'd be let out more if were nice." It chuckled trying to tease him some.

Tex closed his eyes slightly and let out a soft sigh. Why don't you suck my- Shut up, Texenius! I don't like getting attached because I can never stay in the same place for long periods of time. The fact that the entire vampire nation is looking for me will only put others in danger and I don't like putting others in danger just because I decided to tell the Vampire Queen to go f*ck herself and translate ancient texts on her own. I'm not that selfish... he responded softly to the voices after having snapped at Texenius who seemed to be pouting now.
{( It's ok. Also, sweet, Wolf-dage. )}

((I'm going to need you to start pming me or something... x.x Can't pat attention long enough... xD Also, I'm going to have Melody be into archery... :3 Because I feel like it. xP))
The voice was silent for a long time before sighing. Wasn't that what it usually was for those who lived a life of danger? If it weren't for Melody seeming normal then her life would have been in danger already. There was always a predator, and for their species it was a specially trained hunter that were just as secretive as them. It was probably a greedy one that had found Mabel and sold her to the slave shop. Finally the voice spoke up, slowly coming from its own thoughts
"Tex, do you really think you could harm Melody or the other girls? They were favored by the Goddess, and she would readily have an army to fight for them. If anything were to happen to them, then it wasn't your fault. It was most likely meant to be. Our species has lived its time, and it's getting closer to the end. The Goddess reversing time was a last resort, and if it gets out of control again, she'll no doubt understand that what I'm saying is true."

Tex let out a light chuckle with Texenius doing the same in his head at their question. Yes. I wouldn't want to because they're sweet in their own way, but yes. I believe I could, they responded without the slightest hesitation.

The voice sighed as the other voices gasped or growled to his answer. "I expected as much..." The air in front of Tex began shimmering, the light refracting as if there were a mirage. In that spot a shaky image of a young woman wearing a light brown gown appeared, brown flowing hair that stood out against her pale face, resting against her back and chest. Her eyes were barely distinguishable, but they were a solemn violet. It was the voice who was projecting her old image into his mind.
The woman sat down across from Tex, although there wasn't really a chair there. She crossed her legs and leaned forward slightly, resting an elbow on her knee while her chin sat in her hand. "I really meant would you really be hurting them by staying here? Anyone that came for you could easily be someone coming for Melody. But, since you are on that topic, it leads me to wonder, since I know you could. Why? If you could so readily harm them, what would be the reason for doing so?"

Tex felt his smile fade as he let his tail flick behind him. Should I, Tex? If you'd please, Texenius... Madame, we actually would if we stay here much too long. You'd notice the difference between the hunters with relative ease. As for why, well, should Tex get in too dark a mood, I take over which means insanity becomes a key part of his actions. Not only that, but... Should one of these seals get damaged, stop their soft bluish glow or simply "snap", he'll lose his sanity along with mine and blast this entire estate Melody lives in to smithereens. Trust me when I say it ain't pretty. It's happened before and that was because he'd ignored this tug at our mind that sends us into a comatose sleep similar to the one we've already had here in this home except it lasts longer than just twenty-four hours. These sleeps usually last for weeks, months and sometimes even years. A curse we accepted when he set these seals into our flesh. Make sense? Tex remained rather silent through all of this although he gently touched the seals on his neck.

((Quick question: If Tex is powerful enough to destroy the whole world or whatever, why is it that when one of the seals get damaged or 'snap' only the estate will be effected?))

ll Wolf_God ll ((I knew I should've broken it down into more detail... :Emo: Anyways, Wolf-dage, the reason it'd only damage a small section is due to the fact that he has MANY of these seals on his body. They hold in 99% of his magic so when one of the seals gets damaged or ceases to work - in which he'll have to recreate the seal - he has a momentary release of his magic, but most of it is still sealed away. Basically put, it's like a soda being shaken and then opened. It will explode, but it won't last long. Make sense?))
