Cylem I didn't know there was a difference. sweatdrop Though it makes sense in hindsight... Eastern philosophy is based more on eastern tradition and ideology, where western is based on the western. The eastern and western world are extremely different (at least in the past, the whole world is 'westernized' or working towards it now.) In general, eastern philosophy is more oriented towards the fact that a person belongs to a group, and usually the group is considered more important than the individual members. Honor, tradition, and loyalty are more ingrained into people. In western philosophy, people belong to social groups because it benefits them individually. People tend to only follow their group a certain distance when their needs conflict with the needs of the group. These groups have an obligation to its members, and when this isn't met, things like revolution happen. Individualism and personal achievement are more highly valued in western philosophy. Thats just really the basics I know between the two, and I'm not sure if they're exactly right, its been a while since I took that intro class.

I have the profile for my RPC nearly finished now, and I was wondering: do I really need an RP sample since my history is already, like nearly 2000 words long?
