“ I’m pretty you say?” she replied curiously with an undertone of sarcasm, “ you know, coming from just anyone I’m not sure I’d believe them- but you see, knowing your a nobody, and thus unaffected by emotions of lust or disgust, perhaps then you rely on observation alone- then again you could be lying because you need to. For now though, I’d like t think you really mean that.” Kyla continued walking down the path, watching the slow but progressive transition between soil to sand. Every so often she looked back to check and see if people were actually following them.
“An earlier me would have not,” she continued,” but company now sounds wonderful. It’s funny how fast things can change you. Which makes me wonder Demyx.. you want your heart back right, I have a theory that might-!!?”
Kyla stopped suddenly, and looked ahead to where she thought something odd came into the peripheral of her vision. At first it was like her mind refused to compute, she had never seen these things before. She didn’t recognize them from anything she’d encountered before yet- could they be from an ‘interactive chronicle’ she hadn’t ‘reviewed’ yet?
“ Just- what are these things?” did it matter? They didn’t look very friendly.
Riku ran passed them, and attacked some of them- guess that ws her cue! Summoning her book to her hands, Kyla transformed into her ranger form and entered the fight as well.

When one of the other new kids--one of the ones that had joined shortly before the split, she thought--started asking questions, Bobbi yoinked her mental status back to where it should be, and started chewing her lip again.
"I'm not sure," she admitted. "I never thought to ask. I just woke up this morning to a ruckus that could be heard through the whole friggin' castle, and all I really got was that the armies had shown up. If I had to guess, I'd say Merlin transported them. No one really told me."
The Archer crossed her arms and stared off into the distance, trying hard to remember everything she had learned in the general mayhem of the armies.
"I don't know why exactly the Emperor wouldn't mention everything, but when I started asking questions, Minnie made a comment like everyone at the castle thought I already knew what was going on. I guess that applies to you guys, as well. I mean, we all remember how Mickey is. He doesn't tell anyone anything.
"I think I saw Cloud and Leon head over the--"
She almost finished her sentence, and had uncrossed her arms to point out the direction she saw Cloud and Leon head in when she heard Riku's warning shout. Immediately Taulmaril came to her hands and she was back in her Ranger suit, an ice arrow between two fingers and nocked to the bowstring as she searched for the cause of the danger.

Demyx didn't get a chance to flirt with Kyla anymore respond to Kyla. He saw the arrival of the unversed, and brought his Sitar to the fore just as Riku shouted his warning.
The Melodious Nocturne let out a hearty whoop and shot off two water geysers underneath one of the Bruisers. He knew the Big Body heartless were a pain, and figured he should try taking one of these bruits out of commission. Or distract it. It was too late to run, after all, the dang things had to have spotted him and Kyla right away.

Leon had expected some kind of reply from the blonde haired warrior, only to hear nothing more than his name uttered as Cloud left, gesturing him to follow He quickly raised his himself up from against the tree, his gunblade raised up from the sand and brought to his shoulder as he followed.
"What is it?" He inquired, wondering what was going on with Cloud.{??? : Hawaii : Village Outskirts}
"When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end. The Goddess descends from the Sky. Wings of light and dark spread afar she guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting."
They could hear it, a calm and collected voice reciting some kind of poetry as they approached. When they entered the clearing where the voice was coming from they would see a man sitting upon a rock. His attire a long red leather coat with a myriad of leather straps draping off of it. behind his left shoulder, was a single, furled, black feathered wing. In his hand, he held a white leather bound book.
"Infinite in mystery, is the Gift of the Goddess. We seek it thus and take to the skies. Ripples form on the water's surface. The wandering soul knows no rest." He continued reading the strange text, his attention raised though as the two entered the clearing. His eyes focusing primarily upon Cloud.
Without ceremony he closed the book with a snap and pushed off from the rock to land on his feet. His attention now fully focused upon the two men who stood before him. He vaguely remembered the blonde, though he couldn't remember how. He only knew it was him from the information Sephiroth had given him. His auburn hair fell into his eyes somewhat as he observed them.
"Ah, so you're Cloud. Sephiroth told me that if I saw you to relay that he is waiting."

[Cloud : Hawaii : Village Outskirts : Clearing]
Cloud had sword in hand. "Who are you?" Cloud demanded. The figure before him was not who he had been expecting. Instead of answering, the man continued with what was saying, apparently reading something from the book.
That wing– the image of it, of the person before him in his entirety, was overlapped by Sephiroth, and then Cloud himself. Cloud felt a twinge along his left shoulder. He took a hand from his sword and grasped the side of his head.
"Who are you?" Cloud yelled, and seemingly disappeared. He reappeared an instant later, striking at the winged stranger with a Sonic Burst.

[Dani :: Hawaiian Village]
“Man,” Dani said to the group before rubbing her the back of her head, “It seems like everyone has had different experiences then I. I have just joined the group today and have lived here for the past 6 days while you guys are running around saving the world.”
Dani smiled at the group before looking around Hawaii again. As she looked around, she had noticed that a few people from the group were missing. She did remember though, that Kyla had gone down a path for some reason. True to her thoughts, she heard Alan say that Leon was missing from the group.
To make matters worse, Dani heard someone shout from the way Kyla had taken before that creatures were coming at them fast. Dani instantly became worried about Kyla’s safety and summoned her chakrams. As soon as her chakrams were summoned, Dani’s blue armor reemerged onto her body. “Guys,” Dani shouted to the group she had been talking to previously, “I am going to check if Kyla is okay!” With that, Dani sprinted down the path Kyla had taken before.
When Dani finally made it down the path far enough, she heard Kyla up ahead. “Kyla!” Dani shouted before coming to a stop right next to her. What Dani saw before her was something she had never seen before. These creatures in front of her looked like heartless, but they weren’t heartless at all. Dani could tell they were not heartless due to the symbol located on all of the creatures. As she looked at the different types of the creatures, she came to a conclusion.
“Kyla treat these things like Heartless,” Dani said to Kyla before getting into a stance to protect Kyla. “Each of these creatures is like a heartless. Look at the tiny creatures, they look like shadows. The 3 types might have the same weaknesses!”
[Stitch :: Hawaiian Village]
Stitch had finally stopped his rampage on the beautiful blue punch buggy, having reduced it to something you would find at a junkyard. When he had stopped his smashing, he noticed that the girl with the book was suddenly gone.
Not really caring at this point, he walked slowly back over to the people that were helping the villagers before, who seemed to be having a conversation. He suddenly stopped and pulled out his goo gun when he heard that there were weird things coming down the path. He would wait with the group to see what came out of that path.

{Genesis : Village Outskirts : Clearing}
{{Cue: SOLDIER Battle}}
The auburn haired man simply smirked as Cloud asked who he was and then vanished. His target would seem to have vanished to the Buster Wielder as he came out of his Sonic Burst attack. The only clue as to where the man in red leather had disappeared to would be a black feather that fluttered down from above. In his right hand, he held a broadsword that had a handle that looked like a rapier.
"You may call me Genesis." He called from above to get their attention.
He then held his blade at about eye level and ran his hand down the broad side of the sword that was only a few inches shorter than he was. Despite the size though, he was able to wield it one handed with ease. As he ran his hand down it, he imbued it with darkness causing it to glow black and then the whole blade was surrounded by red energy. He then disappeared into a dark portal only to appear right above Cloud and bring his sword down in a vertical slash. If Cloud dodged the attack, it would cause gash in the ground.{Leon : Village Outskirts : Clearing}
Leon was surprised yet again by Cloud's rash behavior regarding this man. He had heard the name Sephiroth before. Mentioned, but now it was pretty obvious that Cloud and Sephiroth were somehow connected. He watched as Cloud went in for a strike, only to have Genesis dodge it by taking to the air. From the safety of the air, he introduced himself and then came back down upon Cloud from above.
"Don't take him lightly Cloud! Back off and we'll take him together!" He yelled, trying to get the Buster wielder's attention. He would have tried to strike now but didn't have an opening.

Usually the Sonic Burst would be followed by one or two more, one right after the other, not slowing enough to give the opponent any room to breathe. When Cloud briefly lost sight of his opponent, combined with the odd angle of attacking in the air, he changed his plans, and held his sword ready at his side. His brash moves earned him a warning from Leon, but the warning, although yelled, seemed so distant. When Genesis spoke, although calmly, the words rang perfectly clear.
Time stood still for a moment. Cloud could hear the beat of his heart pounding in his ears as Genesis's sword struck down at him; he moved out of the way just in time, the speed and precision of that attack giving Cloud no small clue of just how powerful this Genesis was.
Ignoring Leon's distant warning, Cloud struck again, this time from above, the beginning of a Cross Slash.

Sora had been meandering around the lower decks for some time, passing random pirates and Kyle's little gathering and overhearing bits of information. Kyle was doing a little Q-and-A in the brig with the newer members, which was definitely for the better, and the pirates all seemed pretty nervous about their destination of Shipwreck Cove. Apparently, it was a pretty large gathering of pirates from other seas.
Finally, he came across Jenny and Noelle, chatting in the sleeping quarters about Alice and Joe. He frowned, remembering what had happened. He couldn't help but wonder if he had a Replica out there somewhere.
"Hey, any luck with Joe?" he asked the two girls, a look of concern on his face that was easily genuine.

"It's not problem, Anthony, really, I'm just sorry we never got a chance to tell you guys these things earlier- which reminds me, we should probably talk about another factor," he began, only for Anthony to offer him some fruit. He almost reached into the crate for a banana before he remembered one of the scariest damn things he could think of.
Banana spiders.
Resisting the urge to shudder, Kyle merely cloaked his hand in Light before hesitantly sticking his hand in to grab a banana. Once he'd grabbed one and removed it from the crate, the aura vanished and he seemed much less tense.
"It might be a good idea to get the other Earthlings while I explain the Cory thing," he replied to Dawn, taking a bite out of his banana and chewing it thoughtfully. "See, there's this other Earthling- his name's Cory, and he's a bit of... of a wild card, I guess you could say. It's a long story, but he's definitely going to be around at some point, so you guys at least know why he's a factor to be concerned with. Got time for a story?"

As Ajora closed his eyes as well, a black-and-crimson aura enveloped his hands; using his elemental affinity for Darkness, he allowed Elleon's dark intentions to channel through into the Unversed, which began to take the shape of her choosing. Darkness enveloped the Unversed, and within moments, it vanished, leaving only what Elleon had pictured.
Ajora let go of Elleon's hand and gazed upon the work of art with a satisfactory smile. "Voila! C'est fini."

[Dawn : Caribbean Sea : Lower Decks --> Upper Deck]
Dawn nodded a little at Kyle as she left the room towards the Upper Deck, where she hoped she would find most of the people she needed. When she got above deck, she let out a soft sigh. It felt good to have the sun and wind in her face. It helped calm her down. Dawn stretched, as she looked around the deck, hoping she would find someone that looked like an Earthling, or might be able to point her in the right direction.
'Ah there is a Louis.'
Dawn slowly walked over to where Louis was looking off the side of the ship. She couldn't tell if he was deep in thought, or what. She hoped she wasn't interrupting something important. Dawn could vaguely remember when Louis attacked Jacob on the Dutchman, and felt her shyness come over her. She didn't want to be attacked either.
"Hey Louis," she said, "Uh... do you think you can help me?"

Genesis simply smirked as he heard Leon's warning. It seemed that Cloud though was not going to heed it, at least not willingly. His attention still focused upon the blonde haired warrior as he brought his blade down upon the man in red. The warrior didn't even flinch as he raised his blade to block the attack, at the same time though he brought his left hand back and charged it with energy. His hand glowing red as he prepared to unleash a powerful fire spell. At the exact moment their blades clashed, sparks emitted from their swords.
"HAA!!!" He yelled, blasting the Fira spell at Cloud.
If Cloud didn't manage to dodge it, the blast would be enough to knock him back and thus end the attempted Cross Slash attack. He then took the air again, his hand glowing red again as he slashed at the air in clawing motions twice. From his fingertips, ten homing blasts of fire flew, raining down upon both Cloud and Leon.
Even though Leon hadn't even been able to get a swing at the guy, he was now forced to go on the defensive as the blasts of fire rained down upon him and Cloud.
He was able to block two of the five that were aimed at him with his gunblade and dodged the other three. However, they came back around at him. He turned back just in time to block one more, but the other two found their mark and hit him right in the chest.
"Ngh... That was unexpected." He muttered, holding his side with one hand as he turned to look at their opponent.

Laan did not reply to the summon as darkness began to take form at his side, bubbling and bending until Nithhogr had been recreated. "Nithhogr, back to Hawaii with you." The Unversed vanished without a second of hesitation, leaving only Laan with the voice in his head again. "... I can only recreate them so many times. Using the same emotions that I do not own naturally, be it true or replicated, over and over will only result in deterioration over time."

"Nithhogr was created from a powerful emotion that I carried from Cory. His need to be the center of attention and his headstrong approach to most situations... While they are easily exploited, they make for a powerful and confident warrior."

"Yes, that is why I must use other powerful emotions to created more Unversed as powerful as him." Darkness began to form out of nothing in front of Laan, his mind hard at work creating a new Unversed as the Death Seraph chuckled in his head.

"I don't know...," Anthony said in response to Kyle. "I gotta check my schedule. I got things to do today... like feel sick and throw up over the railing and lounge around until we get to Shipwreck Cove." The boy smiled, obviously being sarcastic. The more information the better! He set the crate of fruit on the floor beside him, also grabbing a banana from the crate, then peeling it before responding. "I have all the time in the world for a story," he said, taking a bite out of his banana. Pushing the chunk of banana to the side of his mouth, he said sounding a bit muffled, "Fire away when you're ready."

"Blue Rose!"
Cory dropped from the sky on top of an Unversed, crushing the creature beneath his attack before removing his face guard for a moment. "These things are called Unversed, and Chakrams McGee is right! Treat them like Heartless- really agile Heartless!" The rogue put his guard back on and turned just in time to cut down an attacking Flood, his mind racing through a number of questions. Who sent these? Was it this 'Laan' guy? Who is Laan? What are Unversed supposed to be? Will Nithhogr return? Why did he have trouble using Darkness? He shook the thoughts from his mind and ran over to Kyla and Dani, standing in Kyla's blindspot with the Revblade in hand.
"Classic two-sided phalanx. Chakrams, protect Kyla from frontal attacks and I'll protect her from rear attacks." The ronin struck down another Flood before adding, "Kyla, nuke everything you can while we defend. It'll be a lot faster than chasing down and fighting all of them."
