Every villain's actions are more or less justified to them at least.
That doesn't stop them from being perceived as the antagonist.

Cool cool ^.^ I havn't sat down to watch Inuyasha in a long while. Other then the fact it only comes on at 5 AM Sunday morning.
Still thinking of what to do with you haha.

How many seasons was it?
There's really only so far a single character can go on for.
Eventually you run out of ways to make a character grow while still keeping the personality that keeps the reader enthralled... >_>;

I stopped keeping up with seasons after the whole 7(or was it 12?) bandits and Naraku using a monk for evil arc. But what I think really got me to quit watching was that they killed of whats her name and turns around and shows that they didn't.

If there was ever a thing that needed a mercy killing.
Of course that's what happens when you make an anime after a long running manga. That or you jump on top of the newest hit and you surpass what happened in the manga and either use filler episodes to help the manga build up the story again and continue from there, or just make up a whole bunch of stuff.

I have two examples.
Ruroini Kenshin and FullMetal Alchemist.
Kenshin was killed due to the HUGE ammount of filler episodes after the Kyoto arc in order to let the manga finish.
FMA on the other hand quickly caught up to the manga, but with blessing form the manga creator was told to do it's own thing. Thus it ended and even got a movie. Now it's being remade because the manga is nearing it's end , hopefully, and there's enough of a buffer between the begining and the end.
Then you have Black Lagoon, which ended on it's second season in order to let the manga do it's thing. Now it's has a third season in the works.
Not going to talk about Haruhi.

The second Haruhi season SUCKED.
I still haven't gotten past the third episode of the summer thing... But they don't go in order. o_O
But yeah. I want to finish it. One day. Maybe when I get sick again. That's when I go on marathons. >_>;
Ooooo, Black Lagoon is making a new season? =D FUN.

Apparently you havn't hit the Endless Eight part of season two for Haruhi. From what I hear, you either don't mind it, or you hate it with all your soul. There is no "I love/like it!" or even "I hate it."
And yes. I have up to volume 8 in the manga and let me tell you.... if they continue with their top notch animation with the natural flow of everything, season three is going to be a work of art, bu with guns, bullets, and lots and lots of blood.

Pish. I hit the endless eight. I got to the third repeat episode. However, I was under the impression that it would END eventually. I plan on finishing it up. Eventually.
I hate leaving things half finished.

They'll HAVE to put lots of effort into it. It's required. They'll be lynched if they don't. =o
