Exxos said that he once ate some glitter and had a sparkly movement. Drink yager it you want one of those Exxos. To tell you the truth, the movie princess bride was ok, but not really something that I would want to watch over and over or have in my movie collection. Sorry if that offends anyone. I am more the MadMax/Road Warrior/Highlander/Die Hard- type.

*gasp* A Princess Bride discussion and I missed it! :O
While I'm not about to boo/condemn the few who've stated they didn't care for the movie, I admit that it does hold a very special place in my heart. *smiles and listens to Storybook Love* Take care all. Hope everyone had a good day!

I can understand the love of the book Princess Bride which was more interesting then the movie.(just like the sequel to Alice in wonderland), But the movie to me was just plain silly and they took too many liberties in making it.(much like Disney forced the white witch in the sequel to Alice in Wonderland and ticked off Tim Burton who is famous for his dark and dreary movies-Disney had to go in and make him revamp his whole style.)
Speaking of which.. Disney has taken over toonami as well as most of the tv channels and shows as well as bought out Stan Lee and Marvel and any future follow ups to his movies to be done will be done in the Disney way.(nobody dies, they just get really bad boo boo's.)

Actually regarding Marvel, Disney did buy them but they want to keep it as is. It was more as a means to keep it stable. Disney has admitted they don't want to tone Marvel down. So yes, there will still be killing and violence in the Marvel verse. It is just to help the Mouse make more money.

I like everything from chick flicks to horror if they're well done - a crappy movie is a crappy movie in any genre (and yes that distinction can be a bit subjective in some cases)

Gavic, my friend. The mouse and Eisner doesn't need more money, you do know that, and yes from what I read(maybe I got the wrong translation from it)but Marvel is going to be wussed down alot.
Ms.Camwen Always good to hear from you poppet. I hope that you and yours are well. I couldn't agree more with your statement on crud in general. It is true no matter what type of movie, Some are magnificent while others would not even make a good after school special.
