Devalious opens the door in hopes to find someone in the bar. Little hope he had since he knew no one would be in there and he looked at the room in its still life setting. "Anyone home?" Shouted the returning regular.

"I am here my dear friend." Called a soft voice from the kitchen. "They key to the liquor cabinet is in its usually spot on the wall behind the counter by the kitchen door."

"She was talking to me you twit." Devalious eagerly snapped at chainspike without thinking of his words. "I'm sorry about that. Every once in a while my anger gets the best of me." He smiles with his eyes closed. The happy face goes away just as fast as it came as Devalious continues to step into the room and walks toward the kitchen door.

Devalious lets out a little snicker has the burning of the cigar rings in his ears. "That's your third one since I've been here sir." Devalious spoke out still facing the kitchen door. "Maybe you should cut back a bit." He pushed the kitchen door open and peaked in. "Stats?"

Dev continues to look into the kitchen and sees the keys. "Stats, I thought I heard you in here, where are you?" He steps inside the kitchen half expecting to be glomped.

Stats laughed her soft love filled laugh." Im am here. Just up to my elbows in dishes." She said clincking dishes as she rinsed them down. She grabed a rag and carefuly dried her hands and turend around. "Now let me see you." she called as she started for the door.

Devalious smirked as he heard the footsteps of his friend fall upon the floor of the kitchen. He decided to be quite funny and hang upside down on the ceiling in hopes not to be seen and get the element of surprise. "Over here Stats." he spoke carefully not to give away his exact location.

Devalious drops down behind Stats with an ear jerking thud and slightly floor shaking. "Oops, I wanted to land softly," he spoke out as he raised his arms expecting a huge and heartwarming hug.
