Three of the doors to the car opened simultaneously as Mizuumi, Chi and Kent stepped forth into the cool night. Chi and Kent bid their farewells to Mizuumi as she said her goodbyes to Kurama, Chi and Kent as well. She began to walk towards the lake to take a short cut home.

aelliflame She blushed and stared at the scenery, "How did you find this place?" "Being in the city all the time gets boring." He said, smiling. "So I was just out exploring. I come here to think a lot of the time, and to get away from the noise."

Miete smiled and nodded, still staring at the landscape, "I can understand that. I've been living in the Makai for a while now so I forgot how noisy it is here."

"This world does seem to like noise more than any other worlds." He agreed. "But sometimes that is a good thing... It helps get your mind off of things you don't want to think about."

Miete nodded in agreenment, "This noise would have helped a while ago. I used to wonder why humans seemed so fickle, but there are so many things going on here they need to be..."

Keshoto chuckled. "Yes. The human race is flawed. But that's why the guardians were created. The guardians keep their evolution going, forcing them to become more than what they ever imagined."

aelliflame Miete listened smiling, "Yes if it wasn't for the guardians I'm not so sure that humans would yet be more than cave people." "You're probably right. Or they could still be monkeys... though, concidering how some humans act, you can't really tell the differnce between them and monkeys anyway." He sighed. "The guardians are the ones who made every species into what it is today, or at least... That's what I've been raised to believe."

Miete sighed, "I wasn't really raised to believe anything. My family always said I could believe what I felt was the truth, so I really don't belive anything until I see proof... unless I want to believ something..."

aelliflame "Oh that's so sad. If you don't mind my asking, how did he die?" Miete asked her eyes shining with sadness and some understanding. "...My grandfather... Wanted to do some... Things... To expirament with the vampiric blood. But no one would vaulenteer, so..." Keshoto swallowed the lump in his throat. "He hunted down his own fmily. My father... I'm not completely sure what happened to him. We were separated in the fight to get away... And I never saw him again."
