*he gave her no choice, leaving her gagging, spitting and trying to get away from him shoulder, his blood as he held her.. and she drank some it down.

He probably hadn thought about it or even remembered but he'd been reSired, by a VERY powerful line. That one taste of his blood would change everything for the next night, and she indeed vanished, screaming with horror, into the earth with him*

It was not a restful day. Plagued by the taint he had consumed, he would find himself disturbed until he rose, the woman still held in his arms as if she were a lover.

I'm sorry for having to do that to you. I'll put that out right now. Now...please...if you would cooperate like you did last night...

*Blue eyes looked on him with hate. A hate beyond what she SHOULD have been feeling.
Fur flowed over her as she dropped to his side, a living shadow*

...this way...

*Her words were growled out aggressively, as if forced. Iden would probably feel it - blood bound. Straight to a level 2 bond, with just one taste. She would obey him, as long as it wouldnt get her killed... but she didnt have to like it*

He sighed. It wasn't that he blamed her. Had the roles been swapped, Iden would have been utterly livid to have been enslaved so. So he let her have as much freedom as he could, allowing her to walk if she were so capable.

She would take the lead, and Iden would follow. He tried to suppress the bond for the whole trip, though it would do little good.

*She grumbled quietly near him the whoel way, sticking in shadow so she wuldt be seen, heading for where the old lakes had lain, where now there wereonly ruins, lit up by modern lights, surrounded as always by tourists. Alyna skirted the crowds to the edge of the ruins, in a secluded spot*

Welcome, foreigner, to my birth place. Teotihuacán. This... is all our Sun God left us.

*Bitterness, sadness, grief. Three of a series of emotions the Wyrm lived off.*

And so you turned to a devil instead. I pity you. I truly do.

Along the way, Iden had nabbed a pedestrian. He hadn't hurt the man; all he had done was steal his shirt and leave him with some extra money for the time. Now they stood at the ruins, and Iden was suitably impressed. Quietly, he helped her push through the tourists nearby.

Alright. So he comes here. Then here's where we'll start.

Yes, he comes here. The Pirámide del Sol is his usual destination. And he has done something to the Pirámide del Luna so we cannot use it.
He is occasionally spotted coming in, but he vanishes. We feel him pray to the old god, but cannot find him, and then he vanishes again.

At least the devil let us foight back, while the odl god had has do NOTHING while our people were wiped out. Do not preach to me, unnatural one, you serve a devil in your own right, and have forced on me equally as bad as I did on you. Release me, let me return to my tribe.

*Blue icey eyes stared angrilly up at him, her tail lashing in displeasure*

I do not WANT or need your pity, vampire.

What, an immortal needs permission to grow a pair and fight for her turf? I'm beginning to wonder where Javos got it from to kill me, at this rate. You lot are a bunch of pansies.

If Javos came to the ruins, then that would be where Iden would wait, and Iden would wait as long as was needed. He would not leave the country until he'd at least spoken to Javos. As they climbed the steps.

Alright. Theology aside, I have an honest question for you then. Why me, hmm? What makes you lot so damn keen on shoving me back to that little slice of hell?

We were the sun gods avatars! The people prayed to us and in turn we gave them his message! But when the men from across the great lake came, he told us NOTHING. Some of us fought, others of us held to the rituals we always had but it made no differance! Only when the Dark god came did we start to win, with his power. Do not speak of what you DO NOT KNOW, youngling.

*Sheer RAGE in her voice. And sorrow. A very deep sorrow. Then she bitterly answered his second question, and there was something about the way she spoke...*

He wants you back because you escaped him. And now the Nazi leads a rebellion. Several have broken free since, and he does it with you as the example. YOU are their mascot. If the master got you back... the rebellion would crumble.

*She said, he, master, them. Not us. That was a change. Slowly, she followed him, creeping upwards so they would not be seen. At the top, she laid down and asked again*

Why wont you let me leave? I have told you all we know. Let me return to my people.

So not one of you thought that by pooling your powers, you could have saved yourselves instead of relying on a higher power for deliverance. I take back my pity...you lot sound about as foolish as they come. Let me ask you...when you had me snared, with all your higher power, did I once beseech anything but my own force of arms? Even outnumbered, chained, bound and ready for sacrifice? Mayhaps you should consider what determination in oneself can do. Maybe its not me or the nazi who is blind. Maybe its you.

Iden kept himself from showing any signs of hostility or anger. He remained solemn, respecting her loss by avoiding seeming like he was mocking it with his words. It was an attempt at respect for what had happened, even if he disagreed with her reasons.

Why won't I let you leave? I'm doing what you wanted me to. I'm letting you see your mate. And when that's done....we'll see. He misses you, you know. Misses you as you once were.

Says he who is so young he has known one life and one only! Foolish creature! For hundreds, nay thousands, of years we rose alongside mankind, protecting them as the God saw fit. We would know what we each must do, and we were as great as your own species. Our people weilded knives and axes, and then... men from across the great lake come with guns and our God falls silent.

ALWAYS he had guided us and told us not to intervene beyond necessity. So when they came, we did NOTHING, as our God bid. When the slaughter started... we prayed for his guidance. Prayed as whole poeple, and NOTHING was our answer. Our god turned from us and we DID strike back. Only to be shot down. The pain of those first bullets... we knew not what those sticks they carried were, not until it was too late and we lay bleeding, incapcitated... CAPTURED even! By men a different colour to our charges, but men nonetheless. Some said our God spurned us because we harmed other men. Others still said he was gone and we must protect our people ourselves. Other still ran away.

Javos and I... we tried. Together we tried. They shot me down and I did not see what became of him. I thought him captured. And then the Wyrm offered me enough strength to not only stand again, but to carry on fighting and WIN. And you would look DOWN on me for this?! You who serve an abomination of a woman yourself. Do not preach to me of hell, when you are already in your own.

*Had she been ABLE to... she;d have attacked him for how he spoke of her people. Wyrm tainted, but not lacking in feeling for her own kin, above even that. *

You are a fool, Iden, to keep me at your side. I want my mate back but like this... well. You will see. You will mark your mistake soon enough. I am not so stupid as you as to hink he willl be plased to see me or ever want me back. But once he knows...

*She broke off. A figure was coming closer. Sneaking around the complex as they had, to bypass the guards. It started climbing. Javos.
He climbed in cat form, still a jet black panther, as he had been when Seig had last seen him. He too bore the same jewellery as Alyna, but he didnt come to the top of the pyramid.... he stopped. Paused, sniffing the air. He smelt something familiar, then his voice coudl be heard whipering on the wind*

..not right. Who's there? I know that... oh my god! NOT YOU! NO!

*He turned, and started running back the way he had come in swift, sure strides. Javos last memory of Iden wasnt a good one. He still had scars from it. And somehow hehad scented Iden from upwind, in a breeze, in a city. He simply fled, at one with the night save the glint of gold*

In my one life I've been damned, saved, and damned again more times than most of your kin, I imagine. And last I checked...I served only whom I choose to serve, and retained my will to do as I choose. Tell me this up front, and speak with all the honesty you can muster. IF you chose to leave the Wyrm, would he let you? You were a prisoner before I came along. You just refuse to accept it. I...am free to leave and lead my life as I choose.

Iden shook his head slowly.

Call me a fool, but I can't let you go. I do, and the next morning your nets will be waiting for me. If I can avoid having to fight, I'm going to....

He paused. The scent had caught his attention as well; Javos was coming. But then the voice was heard. It hurt Iden to hear those words spoken. Quickly, he called, mustering both volume, and sincerity.

Javos! Wait! Please!

Hah! Like he will listen to you! I told you that you would regret doing things like this! Thank you SO much for playing into my hands, vampire...

JAVOS!

*Alyna's voice cut the night like a piercing yowl and THEN Javos skidded to a halt and turned*

Alyna?!
JAVOS! HELP ME!
You b*****d! What did you DO to her? You c**t Iden! First me, now her!... I'LL KILL YOU!

*And just like that, the cat was coming back. ANd the urban jungle was reacting to him. He charged straigh for Iden, murder in his eyes, thinking that IDEN had harmed Alyna... a fact not helped by the fact she smelt of Iden's blood. For her part, she laid down and looked wounded, smirking just briefly at Iden*

He will join us, and you will be next...
PostPosted: Thu Jul 23, 2009 11:59 am

Iden wheeled about, his eyes widening. He hadn't expected her to pull that particular tactic. But...it didn't bother Iden so much that Javos meant him harm. The cat was coming back, which was the point to begin with. Iden shook his head, sounding almost sad as he spoke.

No...no he won't. If it kills me, I swear he won't.

Iden held his arms out for Javos to take. He made no moves to resist when the cat came. His eyes were set, and watching.

Javos. This is....not what I wanted.

No?! What DID you want then, b*****d? To kill my lifemate in our home land, was that it? A little diversion while you looked for me? Or did you want to make her do to me what those... WHORES... of yours did in Auria?!

*Sheer terrified rage. He struck at Iden over and over, tears in his eyes.*

But even that wasnt enough! You've forced your blood into her too! What, you wanted her to moan for it while you took her?! I'LL KILL YOU!

As he lunged, it was clear to see the scars around his neck, under the gold collar as it moved with his vehemance*

Javos... your neck! What happened?!
HE did! Alyna... I thought you had died... I'll kill him and free you...I SWEAR IT!

*it would seem... Alyna didnt know Javos had already had a close bursh with the Wyrm, through Iden*
