lymelady Lorysa lymelady Yay! I must be a really big idiot! Congrats! I used to be on that train, too, but was kicked off when I discovered that a human fetus is actually a girraffe. xd I am so tempted to make that a sig quote xd It's not really sharp but it would get people thinking.

divineseraph i just realized- how the hell do you explain to a child, minus brainwashing them, how and why abortion takes place? i was in 5th grade when i found out about it, we were getting ready for the presidential elections, so i saw their stances on things like that. i was immediately horrified that anything like that would be done, let alone condoned and advocated... i beleieve every childwould feel the same, it just doesn't make sense... i remember before that, when i was in new hampshire, i think, seeing a "family planning center"... "what a sweet name" i thought... i asked my mom what they did in there, why it was in a hospital if it was just for planning. she didn't have the heart to tell me anything more than "people make difficult decisions in there" how could anyone tell their child "this is a place where women kill their unborn children"? how could any child accept that, knowing that they could have just as easily fallen under the knife? Heh, I never thought about abortion until I was 14, when my 15 year old girlfriend got pregnant. That's when I became truly opposed to it, and so was she. It's too bad she had a miscarriage. sad

I've noticed alot of us here have had a pregnancy loss. It's interesting. Very sad, but interesting. I wonder if many choicers would convert if they felt the pain of losing their child and then realized "oh my! it isnt just a clump of cells, it's my baby"

But I think some of them would not care, because it would just mean that they wouldn't have to pay $400.00 for an abortion.

Oh they definatly wouldnt care if it was a "unwanted" pregnancy. But I don't know how they would feel if they had a very wanted pregnancy end in tragedy. I know I was mildly pro-choice before my crazy pregnancy but losing one child early on and almost losing Holden really changed my mind.

Actually, you're not worth a dime unless the mother thinks you are. It's the procedure, and the abortionists that are worth 400 dollars, if I'm guessing right.

Killling for money and convenience? I actually saw the argument that abortion is okay because of the state of the US economy.
I think the economy would be better off if we killed old people, personally. They're draining money. They've lived happy lives.
