Colche giggled and boinged a little, it was pretty hard for her to sit still when she hadn't had a run. What had she been up to? well all sorts really "can swim" she grinned, looking contemplative "Rex teach, swim fun" she giggles. "Dee vee dees, fun too" she nods sagely, she had certainly been expanding her knowlege and limited vocabulary by watching lots of disney. "like lion king lots"
Her pretty features broke in to a grin and she giggled a little shyly. "Pyroth purty too" she puurred swaying ehr tail. It suddenl;y occured to her though that perhaps she should warn Pyroth about the bad man. Her face looked perfectly serious for a moment and she bit her tongue a little, though she didn't do this for long, her tongue just didn't like her new spikeier teeth "Bad man on island pyroth" she nodded seriously, "smells bad, Antony said bad man be careful" her tail twitched a bit, she didn't seem to want to stay on the subject of bad men for very long, she acctually looked uncomfortable which was something that didn't happen often to the chipper girl.
A smile broke her face again and she sniffed "Aubrey back, lots of nuu peoples" she smiles "most nice..nuu smells.." her sence of smell was certainly far advanced now, she knew when new people had been there, people she didn't know but she guessed one day she would. The island wasn't that big after all.

Pyroth looked impressed at Colche's acheivement, for a girl who had been so timid at first she was coming along in leaps and bounds. He would normally never admit it to anyone else, but Pyroth himself, wasn't a great swimmer, however Colche, he didn't mind telling. "Wish I could swim." he mused. However, he hadn't met this Rex she mentioned, but he assumed the guy was nice enough. "DVDs? They have them here?" he looked puzzled, he hadn't yet discovered the wonders of the day room properly. He did recall watching the lion king years ago with Khan, who insisted that it wasn't just some kid's cartoon. It was okay, though he did remember the cheetah at the start. "There's a cheetah in the Lion King, isn't there?"
He looked more sombre however when Colche warned him of a "bad man", was this the same guy that Bobby had mentioned to him? He couldn't quite understand what made this guy so bad that his reputation preceded him. It just made Pyroth that bit more determined that his past wouldn't get out in the open, he hadn't realised how quickly rumour spread on the island. "A bad man?" the mention of Antony also raised his suspicions, now he was downright curious, he wanted to know who this guy was and what horrendous acts he must have commited to gain such a state of infamy. However, he didn't ask Colche anymore, having a vague idea of how "bad men" fitted into her history. "Don't worry yourself over him, if anything did happen, I don't doubt a cheetah princess could outrun anyone on this island five times over."
"Aubrey is back too? Good to hear, remember I told you she would be?" As for the new people, he had heard tell of them but had only met Bobby so far. "How many new people have you met?"

New RP (later that morning)
Two days. It had been two days since his last fix, and Billy was progressively feeling worse. Thanks to the roster in the villiage hall, he had found Joli's duplex, but was dissapointed to find no one at home. She must have stayed elsewere. His hands shaking even harder, his expression far more manic than befor, punctuated by a layer of sweat dribbling down from his brow as he crouched outside her door, madly fidgeting with the bent paperclip and safety pin he had procured in an attempt to pick her front door's lock. So far, he had been unsuccessfull. She had to have hidden it inside- and even if not, inside meant he'd find himself some leverage. A bargening chip. He'd burn the damn building to the ground if he had to. He needed his stash back!

Pyroth, after his conversation with Colch, was on alert mode, still wondering what could make this "bad man" so intimidating to the islanders. He wasn't afraid personally, not many people know how to react when a furry guy bit them so was just sauntering along.
That was when he spotted the figure bent outside one of the duplexes, apparently trying to get in. With a raised eyebrow, he headed over, noting as he neared, the man's almost frantic behaviour and his shaking hands.
"Need a hand?" he asked, well aware of the irony of the statement, having more paws than anything else.

At the sound of another voice, especially an unfamiliar voice, Billy jumped, the paperclip flying off into infinity like a launched spring from the keyhole, the safetypin clinging for dear life inside the bowels of the lock. He staggered backward away from the door, his face twitching with growing illness. "I wasn' doin'- Wha' th'bloody hell are you?!" He was distracted from his goal by Pyroth's hairy exterior.

Pyroth looked momentarily unimpressed, he was used to his appearance and despite the man in front of him looking pretty new to the island, wasn't sure what his reaction would have been. However, his gaze did follow the paperclip's trajectory until it landed.
"Me? I'm Pyroth. As for what I am..let's just say I'm human with a twist, something to do with this island and what goes on on it. Either way, I'm still human in the head, albeit with a better sense of smell than most so don't freak out. I could tell you this isn't your duplex though." he nodded to the door, which to him smelled only of Joillette and her friends, not of Billy any time in the past. However, he didnt seem concerned in the least, giving Billy a wicked grin "Why d'you want in?"
He waved a paw vaguely in the direction of the door "You'll never pick the lock with hands shaking like that."

"Y'sayin' I don' know how t'pick a lock??" Billy snapped, glaring hotly befor he turned to try to find his lost tool, "Righ' righ'... more o' tha' changin' crap. I don' buy it, so don' try t'pitch it. God DAMN where's tha' blasted...?" He murmured to himself angrilly, groping about theground for the lost clip. "And if y*must* know, Fido, She's go' somethin' o' mine, tha' I want back."

Pyroth suppressed the urge to growl in response to the "Fido" comment, figuring that would be just what the other guy needed to justify it. Whatever, let him believe it was fake, Pyroth had only half believed it at first anyway.
He did shrug though "We were locked out of those duplexes for quite a while and no one could pick them then either. I doubt the paperclip method would work this time even if you WERE a master at it.. If it were me, I'd just wait until she entered or left the duplex if it was something I wanted." he raised a brow, not giving a damn that he was being nosey, politeness seemed to have been kicked out of the question anyway, he preferred it like that
"What's she got that's so precious anyway? Maybe I could help."

Billy's face twitched nerviously, his grey eyes bloodshot from his lack of sleep as he found the paperclip, fidgeting with trembling hands. "Wha's she go'?" He snorted, sitting on the front step with his back to the door, now. Clumsily, he pulled a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, dropping his lighter twice befor he managed to set the tip aflame. "If y'coul' help, I'd gladly share," He gave a short, bitter laugh.

Pyroth was interested now, he had always had changeable morals when it came to property, wether that be life, or material goods, he had always learned that both were expendable. Besides, if this guy was telling the truth, the items belonged to him already.
He watched Billy's erratic movements as he lit the cigarette and recognised now what was probably up, seeing in the man's actions mirrors of his own reaction to deprevation. It was a long shot but the suspicion was there. He decided to follow it up. He glanced over at the door and just for a second, inhaled discreetly, yes, there was a chemical scent there, unmistakeable.
Returning his gaze to Billy, he asked "I'm listening. What kind, what quantity and how pure?"

"Oh, experienced are we?" Billy's pained expression gave way to a far away look, like a starving man remembering what a steak and potato dinner looked, smelled and tasted like, "I'll be flat. Don' think th'bobbies'd come runnin' t'get me in this place," He snorted, the British influence in his upbringing unwittingly making a pun against his knowlage. "Coke. Bags o' th'stuff. Enough t'keep one man happy an' tweaked fer months. Pure as a baby's bottom." He sighed, hissing a profanity between his teeth befor turning back to scramble at the lock that refused to budge.

Nice. It had been a long time since one Pyroth's guesses had been right. He had been kind of hoping it wouldn't be though. Oh now that was tempting, it had been a very long time since he was sent on one of the important assignments, when not on them he was cut off from any suppliers lest he arouse suspicion in the eyes of the law. It had taken him ages and ages to shake the after effects of the stuff, but the prospect of a brain melt in the near future was tempting. It was apparent for just a moment in his expression, that distant longing that you could ignore but never really dispel, not once you were used to it. Maybe then he would get thin again, he could go for days without food when he was high.
"You could say that." he confessed.
And damn, it sounded good. Now he wanted in too. "Hrmm.. why not lure her out and then someone else make a dash in, lock the door on her, get the bags and run like ********?" he shrugged "Beats fighting with a door that won't open and alerting everyone in the villiage to what you are up to."

"Ach, if only it'd be tha' easy! I don' even know if she's go' 'em stashed here!! I was jes' lookin' fer... " he cleared his throat, "Leverage." He stared at the sky, his mind working sluggishly, brain chemicals unused to days of sobriety and were unsure whether they liked them or not. His breathing quickened, the sickness back as he turned to claw frantically at the door, "GOD DAMMIT!" He turned again, his face positively green, "I'll give y'a whole bag if'n y'can find 'em... get 'em back. There's Smack too... an' Headies t'smoke- tha' din' get stollen, thankfully, bu' Me priorities are fer th'sugar," He moaned.

Pyroth frowned, damn. Billy's twitchy impatience was making him jumpy in a sort of sympathetic manner and the promise of even more exotic drugs made it even worse. He was beginning to feel like he did the day before a delivery and damned if he would give up on this promise of a good thing. He nodded to Billy "If you aren't sure they are here, then that would explain why the scent is so faint, if there are as many varieties and as much as you say, I'd probably be able to smell it stronger. But I /can/ smell something." he raised his nose again "I think it is or was near here."
His tail twitched slightly, outwardly manifesting his own demons reawakening "That way." he pointed down the rows of duplexes in the direction of number 25.

Billy's eyes widened as he stumbled to his feet, "Aye? Really? Where?! Go, laddy, go! Sniff i' out!" He grinned broadly, pushing the older, margionally hairier man urgently.
