I'm looking forward to the revival of contests and stuff! Let me know if I can help out. I've been a crappy Prefect ,__,
Para: Hahah, I don't think distance matters much anymore. I live in Washington (State) and there've been two cases reported in my neighbor-city already. x__X Luckily, I live on an island (okay, so everyone works off of it, but it makes me feel better) and probably won't contact people too much...eh...-hides behind wall of Purell-
Minerva: x__X College term ends in 2 weeks? I have 2 months of school left, blah. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's LHH. I think she's thirty-something.
Oh, that's cool! Little kids are fun to be around. (:
I'm a high school student determined to get a PhD in Chemistry n.n
gina: Lol, don't feel too old. Gaians actually get pretty far up the age scale, but most of us are late teens.

Minerva, you might want to stick LHH's username into the 7th year slot, maybe with a 'HoH Hiatus' or something, just as record of all the time and effort she put into the guild. (:

I'm 19, I'll be a junior next fall at cal state san marcos and my major is human development with an emphasis in counseling. I want to counsel teens and want to do marriage counseling.
Your term is over in 2 weeks gina, so is mine! The commencement ceremony for my cousin is on the 16th so yeah,..
By the way Turayza, I love the art! It's so cute. A PHD in chemistry? Good luck girl!
The most I would do is get at masters degree. I do want to get married with my boyfriend after I get my bachelors degree in like 2-3 years and have kids 2-3 years after that. 24-25 years sound good to have kids to me.

Para, it's great to have summer to look forward to, isn't it? I am SOOO ready for a break from essays! biggrin
Turayza, I wasn't aware that LHH took herself off of the Ravenclaw list altogether. She's the one who altered the HoH name in the member list, not me. I'll just go add her in under 7th years with the title Minister of Magic since that's what she is now.

Argh! The vote for the Business Manager (Treasurer) position was too close for them to close it. The other girl actually won by 8 votes, but they decided to hold a run-off vote for Wednesday.

Omg! I was just looking at Mercury's Moon, and I realized how amazingly pretty it is (and how well it would match my current avatar). Bleh. 2mil for one item...quite a bit...especially for a new item like that....
I'll get there someday.
It's more than some of the way-expensive '04 items, I think. Crazy.

I know some of those items are pretty expensive. I never realized how much, I've been wanting golden anklets for such a long time but I don't have the gold to get it. sad

turayza, if you won by that many votes (I'm assuming that the group isn't too large.) then it's quite likely that you'll win overall. smile
I like Mercury's Moon too, but I will NEVER pay that much for one item. I like the Golden Laurels also, but they're 1 mil. Pretty as they are, I can live without them and be happy with the inventory that I have. 3nodding
My philosophy is like that in real life too. To my formal dance in secondary school, girls had dresses that cost 300 euros/dollars and mine was only 25! rofl

We have a little more than 300 people in the class, so 8 is quite a small margin. x3
Oh...yeah, for real life, that's a good philosophy. You can always get something that looks similar (or even better on you) that's much, much less. It's different on a game, though. x3 Gaia's job is to make sure every item is unique, and it's kind of the novelty of having a rare item like that that makes it so awesome. (hahah.)

Yeah, the "looking good on me" thing is what made the inexpensive dress work for me. The other girls paid so much money for dresses that didn't fit. They had to have them hemmed, but it still wasn't quite right for their bodes. Mine flattered my figure perfectly without any alterations! wink
That's true about Gaia. I do admit that I like to wear expensive items. Usually, it's because the cooler ones cost more, but sometimes it's because I'm proud of myself that I saved up enough gold to buy it in the first place.

Yeah...if it's not beyond ridiculously expensive (1k+) it's not going to fit you perfectly because it's so hard to find good dresses in general unless you're lucky. Or...if you get one of the dresses that factories pump out, because they're made to fit most people (: But of course, people looking for special occasion dresses never think to start cheap -__-
Hahah, it's just kinda fun. For the most part the less expensive ones tend to be not as awesome (with the exception of in-store stuff, there are some amazing items there) because the price of special things (MCs, EIs, etc.) is usually based on how much people like them. n.n

It's true, turayza. People don't realise that a bigger price tag doesn't make it a better gown.

Hufflepuff has had 2 people pass their apparation exams recently, so anyone that doesn't have theirs that's eligible should take the test so Ravenclaw doesn't fall behind in the House Points. 3nodding
