MISSION - That's the Spirit!
Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Mt. Pyre and catch a ghost pokemon

Pokemon:
Duskull
Shuppet

Funds upon completion: 300
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I was running to the mission I noticed very few people by the board. I quickly figured out why it was the 4 of July. I was looking for level one mission and I saw one. In the mission I had to catch a Duskell or Shuppet at Mt. Pyre. I instinctively knew that it was by the hoenn safari zone. I knew that because I had already been there with my dad. But anyways I took the ferry to Lilycove. As soon as I got there I went straight to route 121. As I got to the safari zone a wild linoone jumped out. I knew it was too strong for me so I ran as fast as possible.

As I got to the pier I could see Mt. Pyre in the distance. I sent out my mudkip and told it to use surf. As soon as I got to the entrance to Mt. Pyre a wild wingull popped up at me. I had my mudkip use mudslap to decreased its accuracy. Then I sent out my Mime Jr to use confusion on the wingull. I confused the wingull but it shot a water gun at Mime Jr.
This knocked it back into the water. I told my mudkip to go and save my Mime Jr. My mudkip got Mime Jr out just in time to dodge another water gun. Then mudkip used mudshot but it didn’t do much. The wingull came back with a quick attack. Mudkip dodge again but landed in the water but then mudkip countered with a tackle. The tackle knocked the wingull back. The wingull tried to counter with another quick attack but hurt itself in confusion which knocked itself out. I recalled my Mime Jr but let my mudkip stay out.

As soon as I got into Mt. Pyre I ran around the graves to the stairs. I’d already decided that I wanted a shuppet. As I got to the top I noticed an odd red orb. I had my mudkip use water gun on the orb. The orb turned into a duskull as soon as the water touched it. The duskell then used shadow ball which hit mudkip head on. Mudkip then countered with a mudshot. The attack decreased duskull accuracy, but the duskull used shadow ball again. The shadow ball missed by inches and mudkip used the opportunity to attack. Mudkip used water gun then used mudshot which in return took the duskull down.

After that battle mudkip was badly damaged, so I called mudkip back and sent Mime Jr. As I got to the top and shuppet finally popped out I had Mime Jr use Hypnosis but it had no effect. The shuppet used shadow ball which Mime Jr dodged and countered with a confuse ray attack. The shuppet tried to use shadow ball again but hurt itself in confusion. Mime Jr then used confusion and did little damage. The shuppet snapped out of confusion and used shadow ball and hit Mime Jr. The attack took Mime Jr out so I sent out mudkip. Mudkip use water gun and nearly took the shuppet out. I decided I would use mudslap to take down accuracy. The attack worked but the shuppet got really mad and used shadow ball again. Mudkip dodged. The shuppet tried to run but mudkip kept jumping in front of the shuppet. Then I though a pokeball. The ball shook once. Twice. Three times. The shuppet was caught.

*A note mysteriously appears on the report*

This is a good first try for a new member, but I'm sorry, I can't pass this. For starters, the mission is kinda short. Less than one page in Word generally won't cut it. Your barebones story was essentially going from one battle to another. If you added more detail about the journey itself I'm sure you'd have no problems with length.

A more serious problem lies with your battles. Mud Slap and Mud Shot cannot affect Wingull (Flying-type) or Duskull (Ability is Levitate). There were also a couple of times where you double-attacked. I generally frown on attacking twice in a row because it's considered a form of godmodding. (If the rest of the mission is spectacular, using two attacks in a row isn't as big a deal though. I do try and weigh the whole mission and not just fail it for a few minor oversights.... Oversights besides basic type-matching that is)

On the subject of battles, I will remind you that pokemon only gain one evolution point per mission, no matter how many battles they fight. There's nothing wrong with doing more battles, but it won't get your pokemon evolved any faster. One last thing: feel free to make any corrections you want on your mission and post it again. There's no limit on do-overs cool
*Since the new report is identical to the first one, I just photocopy the grade and stick it where it's easily visible*

MISSION- Flame on!
Go find a fire pokemon!

Pokemon:
Any non evolved, non legendary fire pokemon

Money: 600

If I may make a suggestion, you used the pronoun "she" almost every other word. Try adding some spice into your word selection. Also, make sure to have your sentences flow smoothly and connected. I thought it was a little choppy.

I can't grade such a mission, but you might want to edit it some more so that you can get this one to pass.
Polis has a point. The flow of the mission is disrupted by the repetitiveness of using the same words over and over again. I haven't read the mission otherwise becasue of this problem. Fail. If you wish to resubmit Thard or Brian will have to regrade this mission because of my absence which I need to talk about...

One thing at a time...

Ginji walks in from the kitchen with his new Munchlax. "Hey everyone!" he then starts to write a note for the Bulletin Board.

"Hi everyone!

It looks like I'm going to be gone for the next three weeks for a business trip to the Sinnoh region. It is highly classified and if any of you ask about it, I will be forced to kill you. Well, maybe not that drastic, but close. Anyways, I'll be back at the end of the month so have fun, and try not to miss me too much -wink-

-Ginji"

Satisfied, Ginji posts the note and sits on the couch.

Knuxy lazily spends her afternoons passed out in her room in the base. “You know she’s been sleeping for at least 12 hours, maybe we should wake her up,” Mousy (Pikachu) says to Batty (Zubat). “Well, you know how annoying Knuxy is when she IS awake, let’s let her sleep and never wake up,” replies Batty while stuffing his face with some pizza. “Well that doesn’t seem very nice… but that girl is a freak,” says Mousy as she takes a sip of a slurpie. Before Batty gets a chance to speak again Knuxy’s pokégear starts to ring. “God, what kind of person calls me at 7 in the afternoon? Don’t they know I sleep at this time of day?” Knuxy picks up the pokégear and hits the ignore button. She lies back down on her bed. “…Oh darn it! Now that I’m awake I can’t get back to sleep,” She says angrily. “I’ll just have to find something to do.” Knux folds her arms and starts to think.

A Couple of hours pass by while Knuxy is in deep thought. “I got it!” Mousy and Batty jolt up from there sleep. “Okay Mousy and Batty, How about a quick trip to Littleroot? I have the perfect plan! We’re going to get a new friend!” Mousy and Batty stare at each other. “Umm… Knuxy? This isn’t going to be illegal is it?” asks Mousy. “Well of course not Mousy, we are just going to ‘borrow’ one of Birch’s Pokémon, you know I’m a kind person, I’ll bring it back,” replies the innocent Knuxy. Knuxy grabs Mousy and Batty and drags them toward the window. “Wouldn’t it be better to just use the door?” asks Mousy. “Of course, ” Knuxy says while going out the window.

“We’re on the road to Viridian City,” Knuxy sings. “Actually, This isn’t even in the same region as Viridian Knuxy,” Mousy tells the clueless Knuxy. “Oh don’t spoil my mood…Are we there yet?” asks Knuxy. “Your supposed to be leading us,” Mousy replies. “How about a quick glance into your pokégear, huh? I think it may help just a little bit,” Batty tells Knuxy sarcastically. Knuxy pulls out the pokégear and looks at it. “I completely forgot about my pokégear! Thanks Batty,” She says with a smile painted on her face. “Why don’t you have a TADS?” asks Mousy. “A what?” Knuxy asks while staring at her map. “Okay. We just have to walk straight down this path and Littleroot should be right there.”

Continuing down the path to Littleroot Knuxy seems to have walked into a tree. “I didn’t see that there. Why didn’t you warn me Mousy?” asks Knuxy. “I did warn you,” Replies Mousy. “Oh I think I see it!” Knuxy says with excitement. Knuxy starts to run toward it. “HALT! Knuxy are you trying to get yourself caught?” asks Batty. “Oh right, I forgot. Sorry.” Knuxy and her small companions start to make there way into Littleroot “Quick into that bush there.” Knuxy tells the others. “Okay, we make our way to the other bush, near that window, look into the window and check if anyone’s inside, no one’s outside so long as it’s empty we’re home free.” They make their way toward the other bush and peek through the window. “It looks like Birch isn’t here, but an assistants there, let’s wait it out.”

After about 10 minutes Knuxy gets sick of waiting. “Okay, I say we knock him out,” says Knuxy. “Are you trying to get us caught?” asks Batty. “Okay fine, he seems really into that computer of his so we just have to sneak around it all, Batty you stay out here, I don’t want anyone to hear your flapping wings.” Knuxy and Mousy make there way into the Lab cautiously. First Knuxy sneaks behind a machine and motions for Mousy to follow along. After A few more machines Knuxy gets to a table with three pokeballs. “Hmm.” “Shh.” Says mousy. Mousy and Knuxy hide under the table. The Lab assistant looks up from his computer but shortly after goes back to what he was doing. Knuxy grabs one of the pokeballs. Okay I got a good feeling about this… But I do come with bad luck. Knuxy motions for Mousy to leave and they make their way out of the lab.

“So, did you get something good?” asks Batty while they are out of the Town. “Well I’m not quite sure what it is but I got something,” Knux shows Batty the pokeball. “I’m very proud of you Knuxy!” says Batty. “Oh, Brian won’t be if he ever finds out,” she replies. “Who cares what he thinks? Let’s find out what Birch had in his lab,” Batty says. “We’re going to bring it back afterward right?” asks Mousy. “No way, who told you that?” asks Knux. Mousy glares at her. “Okay What are you anyway?” Knuxy asks the pokeball as she sends out the pokémon. “Mudkiiip,” the small pokémon says angrily. “Oh, it’s a Mudkip! It would be a great add to our pokémon group, since I already have a Treeko,” Knuxy says cheerfully. “Umm Knuxy I think it’s angry,” says Batty backing away from the mudkip. “Well, we’re going have to cool it off then… haha get it? Cool it off? It’s a water type?” Batty glares at her and she frowns. Knuxy looks at Mousy with a smile. “Oh no, I’m not going to fight it,” says Mousy. Knuxy glues a puppy’s eyes to her face. “Alright fine, let’s fight,” says Mousy.

“Okay Mousy get the first move in hit ‘em with good ‘ol Thunder bolt!” Knuxy yells at the small mouse pokémon. Mousy stares at the Mudkip. “Can’t we talk this out?” Mousy asks the mudkip. Mousy gets splashed with water gun. “Guess not,” she says as she uses thunder bolt on the Mudkip. “Mudkiiip.” “I think it’s getting angrier,” Knuxy tells Mousy. The Mudkip tackles Mousy. “C’mon Mousy use Thunder on it!” Mousy uses thunder on the Mudkip. The Mudkip growls at Mousy and tackles her again. “Use thunder bolt again!” Mousy attacks the Mudkip with thunder blot. “Wow, this fighting thing is exhausting,” says Mousy trying to catch her breath. The Mudkip looks exhausted as well, tired of throwing himself against the mouse Mudkip uses water gun. “This is getting annoying, I’ll end up catching a cold at this rate,” says Mousy. “Use thunder again Mousy!” Mousy uses thunder on the already exhausted Mudkip. “Mudkip… Mudkiiip…” The Mudkip starts to wobble about but isn’t ready to give up! He pulls out a gun and shoots water at Mousy. “Okay I’m not ready to give up either!” Mousy says breathing heavily. “Use thunder!” Mousy uses thunder on the weak Mudkip. Mudkip falls to the ground, loosing the fight. “YEAH KNOCK OUT, K.O,” Screams Knuxy returning the Mudkip to the stolen pokéball.

Walking back to the base Knuxy starts to sing again. “We’re on the road to Viridian City,” she sings. “Knuxy, the base isn’t in Viridian either,” says Mousy to Knuxy. “Why do you have to ruin all of the fun Mousy?” whines Knuxy. “You just stole a pokémon! Isn’t that enough fun for one day?” asks Mousy. “No way, let’s go rob a pokécenter of all its medical goods now,” replies Knuxy. “What goes through your head Knuckles? What is wrong with you?” says Mousy. “No the problem is what’s right with me? Oh wait…” Knuxy suddenly has black hair and eyeliner. “I’m proud of you Knuxy,” Batty tells the emo. Knuxy’s Makeup and black hair go away. “You both have problems,” says Mousy. “So is that a no to robbing a pokécenter?” Knuxy asks. The yellow mouse just stands there and stares at her.

MISSION- Herbology class

There’s a lush garden located on the outskirts of Violet City. Residents say the area is home to an old and powerful Meganium. There must be some truth to the rumors, because the garden stays in bloom, even during winter.

However, we’ve gotten word from the Monks of Sprout Tower that a band of poachers were asking about the garden. Head to Violet City and stop the poachers!

You’ll face 3 poachers with 2 pokemon each, and their leader with 3 pokemon. Don’t let them capture that Meganium.

Pokemon: Any shiny, basic-stage Grass type
Rewards: 1800
Item: Up to 3 Berries awarded by the grader

Needing a break from the gym battles I decide to do something that I would enjoy for once, which is basically anything that involves grass pokemon and I just found the perfect mission.

From what I understand I am the first person to attempt this mission so I am not able to gather much information besides that the garden where the poachers are heading is near Violet city and that they are trying to capture and use for themselves the strong grass pokemon that resides there that also has the power to make every pokemon in the garden shiny. After the last little piece of information I thought to myself that this is officially the mission from heaven and I ran up to my room to pack.

I make my way back downstairs with five of my best pokemon and an egg that I am very curious about and I walk out the door, once outside I hop on Tropius and head toward Violet City where I plan to speak with the monks who live there to learn more about what is going on. After a decent time in the air I reach Violet city and I take a quick stop at the pokemon center to ensure all my pokemon are at peak health.

Not exactly sure where this garden is I paid a visit to Sprout Tower and once inside I was greeted by a circle of monks who asked if I would like to pray with them, seeing that I’m slightly atheist I politely turned down their offer and began to question on the whereabouts of the mysterious garden. One monk got up leaving the rest of them in deep chant and walked into a back room returning moments later with an old dusty map that gave me a rough idea of where I was going. As I was walking out the door I turned around to wave back at them but they were already chanting away again like I wasn’t even there, I found that almost rude but if that’s what they believed in then I guess it isn’t that bad I suppose. Sitting on the stairs outside the tower I stared at the map for a couple of moments and plotting a easy to follow course to my destination.

Departing Violet City I headed west almost reaching the Unown ruins but instead following a wooded path that went for about a mile finally reaching the elusive garden. Once the garden was in view I saw that the poachers had beaten me there and that they already had a gigantic Meganium tied to the back of a camouflage colored truck and they were just beginning to drive away. I quickly sent out Weavile who rushed over and slashed the tires of the truck stopping the poachers immediately. The infuriated poachers then got out of their vehicle and challenged me one by one to a set of battles.

The first poacher sent out a Teddiursa and I kept out my Weavile and the battle began. Weavile started out with Brick Break hoping to end this quickly but the impact was diminished by the foe’s Chople berry. Teddiursa then used Sweet scent drawing Weavile in closer making later attacks more likely to hit. Weavile then snapped out of its allurement and countered with Night Slash dealing a great amount of damage. Teddiursa then followed up with Roar sending Weavile running back to his ball forcing me to send out another pokemon. Ninetales was next to come out starting out with Flamethrower leaving Teddiursa at very low health. Teddiursa then countered with Lick startling Ninetales more mentally then physically in my opinion. Ninetales then ended the battle with a very small Energy ball attack, just enough to KO the opponent but also not trying to hurt it to much more at the same time.

The poacher then sent out his second pokemon, Magmar, after seeing his choice I decided to keep Ninetales on the field due to the fact the rest of my team has a little problem with fire. Magmar started out with Mach Punch chipping away a small piece of Ninetale’s health but leaving it open for a close range Hypnosis attack. Magmar now sleeping for a bit, I was able to switch out pokemon again going back to Weavile who saw the sleeping opponent as soon as he was sent out and ran over without any order remembering the usual routine and locked Magmar in a terrible nightmare taking chunks out of its health every so often. While Magmar was still sleeping Weavile began a barrage of attacks which combined with the previous damage from nightmare left Magmar unable to battle any longer after only two turns of Night Slashes.

Two more poachers then rushed toward me to replace their defeated ally starting another battle as the poacher who I had just defeated rushed back to the truck to tighten the ropes that were still latched on the infuriated Meganium. Both of the poachers each sent out one pokemon, a Pinsir and a Scyther as I returned Weavile and sent out Froslass and Ninetales hoping for a quick battle. Scyther started out with Ariel Ace on Ninetales knocking her down to below half health followed up by Pinser’s Guillotine on Ninetales which she easily avoided. Ninetales being at such low health wouldn’t survive another turn so she unleashed a Overheat attack OHKOing Pinser and leaving her defenseless to the next attack. The attack was quickly followed by Froslass’s Ice beam attack taking Scyther down to very low health as well.

Scyther then finished off Ninetales with Night Slash just as the second poacher sent out his last pokemon Larvitar. With Ninetales down I tried to even the score ordering Froslass to use ice beam to finish off Scyther, it landed as a clean hit and both goons only had one pokemon left.

The other goon then sent out his last pokemon to accompany Larvitar, a Cubone, I found it quite strange switching from bug to ground types but at the time I couldn’t care less… I then followed suit and replaced my fainted Ninetales with my Tropius definitely having the type advantage for the remainder of the battle.

Froslass easily out speeded both opponents and got her first move in, Blizzard, which Cubone managed to avoid but it still hit Larvitar dealing a fair amount of damage. Cubone then counted with Bone Rush followed by Larvitar’s Crunch which were both aimed at Froslass leaving her unable to battle. I stared for a moment baffled by the tiny pokemon’s power and knew I had to finish them off soon. Tropius finished off the turn by charging a Solar Beam attack waiting to finish off the opponents.

I then sent out Grovyle to replace Froslass in hopes to still keep this battle in my favor and also at a slightly quicker pace. Grovyle then started off the turn with Leaf Blade rendering Larvitar unable to battle followed by Tropius’s Solar beam knocking Cubone to extremely low health. Cubone with its last bit of energy used a head first take down attack on Tropius taking a decent chunk of health from its target but leaving itself unconscious.

The set of 3 goons were all now defeated leaving their leader who was fairly aggravated by now, I mean I cant blame him a scrawny teenager just beat the living hell out of his goons and is basically just ruining his day, if I were in his shoes I would be mad too but im in my shoes and im staring straight in his eyes laughing my a** off.

The poacher then stormed over to me and started to yell “who the HELL do you think you are!!!”. being my cocky self I answered back still laughing hysterically “ im your worst nightmare” as I sent out Weavile behind my back who then ran stealthily over behind the poacher and tripped him over making me laugh even more. The goon then stood up with his face red with anger at this point and mumbled under his breath “ill show you punk” and he sent out his first pokemon, an Ariados who had the whole area covered in a large web before I could even make a move leaving me separated from Weavile causing him to be my first pokemon in battle.

Ariados still distracted with making the web left Weavile to make the first move, a fairly strong Ice Punch leaving an area of Ariados’s abdomen coated in ice. Ariados then turned its body completely around and countered with Fury Swipes which hit 3 times knocking Weavile back on his rear. Weavile then got up and scratched his head a little “owie that hurt”, that’s when a smirk appeared on his face and he went wild sending out one Night Slash after another even though it only took one to KO the opponent he enjoyed the extra hits before the poacher returned his pokemon.

The poacher’s face at this point looked like it was going to explode as he sent out his second pokemon, Nidorino who as soon as it entered the field added to the spider web horror setting up Toxic spikes all around the barrier also. Weavile then began another one of his barrage of attacks starting out with Metal Claw raising his attack in the process but that was quickly countered by Nidorino’s poison jab attack leaving Weavile with low health and a status affliction. Weavile was able to KO Nidorino within the next turn with a attack heightened Night Slash attack but ended up fainting himself in the process from poison damage.

I was in the lead by one pokemon and by that time I felt that I practically had this in the bag until he sent out his last pokemon, Sableye, which is something I never faced before so It left me with a slight feeling of doubt but I still had confidence in my team and sent out my Grovyle hoping I can finish this before nightfall.

Like all of his other pokemon Sableye got the first move in starting out with Shadow Sneak dealing minor damage but taking the battle piecemeal none the less. Grovyle quickly got back on his feet and countered with Leaf Blade evening up the dealt damage. Grovyle was readying his second Leaf Blade attack when the sunset disappeared and the clouds moved out from underneath the moon revealing a glistening light healing Sableye just before Leaf Blade hit ending up wasting a turn and leaving both sides with the same health left as before. Sableye then used Detect stopping yet another turn from having any outcome, that’s when I realized what had happened, Grovyle had stepped on one of the Poison Spikes upon entering the battle and stalling for time is leaving him in a troublesome situation losing a little health every turn and I couldn’t withdraw him due to the spider web Aridos had set, the only choice I had was to step on strategy like my opponent did.

I quickly used a super potion that healed up some of the injured areas of Grovyle to give me some extra time but didn’t take care of the poison. At this point I knew I was loosing but I still fought on ordering one leaf blade after another which were stalled either by moonlight healing or detect slowly loosing health each turn until finally one Leaf Blade hit critical dead on the face of Sableye leaving me an opportunity for a KO. Within the next turn Sableye attempted to heal again with Moonlight but found itself out of power to use that move leaving Grovyle the opportunity to strike with one final Leaf Blade powered by Grovyle’s Overgrow but also ending up Fainting from the poison in its system in the process.

The poacher was out of pokemon and without any word ran back to his vehicle which was already able to move again seeing that the goons had fixed the tires. Just as they were driving away Maganium and all, I hopped on my last pokemon Tropius and followed them closely through the garden until I caught them at a dead end where the trees grew so dense they had nowhere to go. At that point they surrendered somewhat peacefully, more like cowardly, as they saw Tropius readying a Solar beam attack and they ran for the wooded area leaving their vehicle behind. I kindly walked over to the Meganium and offered it some food from my bag showing that I was not trying to hurt it as I untied it from its rope shackles and after a few moments it was completely free and it was like the whole garden sprang with life in the middle of the night with all the flowers in full bloom and all the grass type pokemon playing happily. It was such a beautiful sight that it was all the thanks I needed for a job well done as I made my way back to Violet city.

I was halfway out of the garden when I was greeted by a Shiny Budew, I suppose then I spoke to soon as all the thanks I needed but I suppose an extra gift for myself is not that bad, so I decided to try and catch it. Budew being a very fragile pokemon I tried my hardest not to hurt it, especially how rare it is to find a shiny one, and I sent out my last pokemon Tropius and the last battle of the long night began. Knowing that Tropius definitely had the power advantage I ordered him to use his least powerful move, Magical Leaf on Budew that got a clean hit but still did decent damage on the weak pokemon even though it had the type advantage. Budew then attempted to counter with Sleep Powder but it barely got near Tropius and got blown off to the side by a slight gust of wind not having any effect at all. Tropius then went for another Magical leaf attack leaving Budew at slightly lower than half health which was just enough for me to use an Aqua Ball catching it with a mild attempt to fight back.

I held the ball of my newly caught pokemon in my hand for the whole moonlit stroll back to Violet city unbelievably exited about my first shiny pokemon almost forgetting where I was even going. Once back in Violet city I decided to spend the night in the pokemon center while my pokemon where being healed after I left a note on Sprout tower’s door with a message about the poachers being defeated that also had the map to the garden’s location attached.

The next morning I awoke to find my whole team fully healed and scattered about my room still sleeping so I woke everyone else up and made my trip back to HQ which took longer than usual because I decided to do a little sight seeing along the way but who can blame a person after such a long day. Once back in HQ I noticed Ginji was nowhere to be found and he was supposed to grade my mission so I figured ill just put it up on the mission board for free game and if he gets there before anyone else to grade it that’s fine to, but otherwise it dosnt matter a this point im going to take a nap *walks over to sofa in the main sitting room and falls asleep in minutes*

*Since the new report is identical to the first one, I just photocopy the grade and stick it where it's easily visible*

MISSION- Birch's First Break-in
Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Prof. Birch's lab in Littleroot and steal one of his three Pokémon (Treeko, Torchic, and Mudkip). You must sneak in at night. But don't get caught by Prof. Birch or his assistant. At some point you must battle the Pokémon you stole/are stealing, if you want to catch it.

Pokemon:
Treecko
Torchic
Mudkip

Funds upon completion: 300
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Sticks grade number one on the first mission posted*

You certainly have an unique style, Knuxy. Just on the sheer chuckle factor, I'm willing to overlook the wildly lopsided battle. And the fact you generally don't catch a pokemon after it faints. Why is the battle lopsided? Because you either got an extremely strong Mudkip, or Mousy is extremely weak. Two Thunderbolts and three Thunders to win? At least it was the foe who was unusually tough or else you'd fail for godmodding.

As I mentioned to someone else, when making conversation, each new speaker generally starts a new line. I don't think I'd fail anything below level 4 for ignoring that guideline, but it still makes missions easier to follow.

Love the humor!~
Keep the Mudkip and you get P$300.

*Sticks grade number two on KW's mission*

Let me open by passing on some info: Ginji's taking a three week leave. I don't think you want to wait that long for a grade, so I'll fill in this time.

What can I say? This is a great mission! Good story, well planned and precise battles, and no major gramatical goofs. (There are a few minor ones but I won't quibble over them) Er... there is one are two little things though. Overheat reduces Sp.Atk by two levels, it doesn't skip a turn. You may have been thinking of Blast Burn. Also, Spider Web's effects end when the user is knocked out. Still, they didn't affect the outcome so there's no harm done.

One other thing I'd like to point out is that the possesive form of a word ending in 's' has the apostrophe AFTER that 's.' In other words, Mach Punch chipped away Ninetales' health.

[PASS]
You get P$1800, keep the Budew, and you get one each of Yache, Occa, and Petaya Berries.

After getting some much needed rest I was ready to hit the road with my pokemon. After following my morning routine I went to get some breakfast. I ate my breakfast quickly this morning. I was excited about my third mission. It would probably be like my mission last night. Night raid on Devon. But this was different. This time it was more complicated. I was prepared but wasn't sure about my new zigzagoon. I decided to go out and battle some pokemon instead of training with my own. I started down the road and ran into a wild ralts. I pondered whether or not it would be worth fighting. I decided that it would be perfect for my zigzagoon to fight. it would be our first battle together.

I threw the pokeball that contained zigzagoon. It used growl on ralts. Zigzagoon followed up with tacke. It hit ralts but not very hard. Ralts used confusion as soon as it recovered. It didn't do much though. Zigzagoon hit it with a full power tackle attack that sent it flying. It didn't seem to harm it very much because it got up quickly. It used confusion again on zigzagoon and lifted it up off the ground this time. Ralts dropped it quickly though due to lack of experience with the attack. Zigzagoon tried a headbutt next. It launched at ralts full power once again. Ralts used teleport to get out of the way. It teleported behind zigzagoon and hit it with another confusion. All it did was stop it this time though. it didn't leave the ground. It seemed to barely phase zigzagoon. It came back again with another tackle after blinding ralts with sand attack. The ralts attempted to use teleport but it went the wrong way. Zigzagoon hit it hard and took away a lot of energy but didn't knock it out. It got up and used double team. Zigzagoon was confused. He sent out a sand attack and one after the other the copies faded away leaving only the real one standing. Ralts used confusion again and stopped zigzagoon from using sand attack on him. It let zigzagoon go but not before taking a good deal of health away. Zigzagoon charged at ralts with one last headbutt. It sent ralts flying and when he hit the ground he was knocked out. I sent a pokeball out and caught the ralts. It was mid-day already. I had to get going.

By the time I got to Littleroot town the lab was closing down. The professor was closing and locking all the doors. I climbed into a nearby tree to avoid being seen. After he left I figured now would be a good time to make my move. I sent out my plusle. He would be my main man on this job. I threw a rock at a window and it shattered. The alarm started to go off. "Great. This will make my job a whole lot harder." I thought to myself.I stayed in my hiding spot up in the tree. Two assistants came to the window and looked out. One had apparently disabled the alarm because it quit going off. I was just about to climb out of my spot when both the assistants came out. I stayed where I was out of common sense. I sent plusle out on to the road. He walked in front of both the assistants. "Plusle!" he said and looked up at them. They knelt down and both tried to pet him. As soon as their skin made contact he sent an electric attack surging through their bodies knocking them out instantly. "Damn. The mission statement only talked about one assistant. Maybe there's more." I said quietly to myself. "Plusle return." But I didn't hold out my pokeball. Plusle came back and climbed up the tree next to me. I decided to climb down and sneak up to the window. I peered inside. The coast was clear. "Thank god." I thought. I sent out totodile and hid around the corner. Totodile used headbutt and knocked the now closed door open again. "Not the stealthiest of ways to do it but it works none the less." I told him. I returned him to his pokeball. Someone must've heard the crash because he came up to the doorway. He walked outside cautiously. I sent out ralts for this one. He used confusion and knocked the guy out. Three down and however many more to go. I returned ralts to his pokeball.

I crept inside and hid in the shadows after returning ralts. This could get dangerous if I wasn't careful. Plusle walked by my side the whole time and made no noise. I needed to find the bag with the pokeballs in it. My target was treecko. I had studied it a long time ago. It was my favorite grass type pokemon. I started to look. After a while I figured I had checked everywhere in this room. I had checked in desk drawers. In closets. In chairs. Anywhere he might've set it down. I couldn't seem to find it. I chose to start my advance to the next room. I started down a long corridor with small windows on either side. No doors though. About three-quarters of the way down the hall I saw a a glow from a flashlight coming from the adjacent hall. I peeked my head around the corner just enough to check who it was. It was a security guard. "This is ridiculous. This place is way too heavily guarded. It's only a pokemon lab. It's not a bank." I thought to myself. I sent out ralts once more to use confusion. The unconscious guard fell to the ground. I slipped by him and headed down the hallway. At the end of the hall was a big, open room. In the back was a door and a table with something on it. I crept up to the table and examined the mysterious object. It was the bag! I had finally found it. I opened it up and took the three pokeballs inside with me. I made my way out the door and onto the road. I sent out all of the pokemon. Mudkip, treecko, and torchic all came out. I sent out my totodile and ralts. My plusle was already out.

Plusle used quick attack on torchic to start things off. It hit but not hard. Torchic turned around and used ember. Plusle dodged and came back with spark. Torchic jumped to avoid the attack. As soon as it landed it started to rush at plusle. Torchic hit plusle with a peck attack. Plusle fell to the ground. It got up quickly and used another spark attack. it missed but bounced off a tree and hit torchic from behind. It fell and hit the ground hard but managed to get back up again. It hit plusle with an ember attack. He took a great deal of damage on that attack. It must've been a critical hit. Plusle managed to get back up and used thunder wave on torchic followed by another quick attack. Torchic fell to the ground but didn't get up. It was knocked out. Plusle came back to me to try and recover. He sat next to me and watched the other battles unfold.

I sent ralts in to deal with mudkip. Ralts used double team as its first attack. Mudkip used water gun in response to knock out the clones. One by one a shot of water went through each one. When he was done all the ralts were gone. Including the real one. Mudkip looked around confused. The real ralts had teleported behind mudkip to avoid being hit. It used confusion to pick up mudkip. Ralts dropped mudkip and used teleport again. It was gone. Mudkip searched all around. Ralts dropped from a tree behind mudkip but wasn't quiet enough with his landing. Mudkip turned around and shot a water gun straight towards ralts. It tried to dodge but was too slow. The water gun contacted with ralts and sent it flying. It got up and shook off the attack. Mudkip charged at the recovering ralts. It used confusion again. Mudkip was stopped dead in its tracks. He was let go but came out of it wobbling. He could hardly stand up. Ralts must've confused it. Mudkip attempted to use tackle again. It ran straight for ralts but swayed to the side and almost fell over. It ran into a tree full force knocking it out. I called ralts back to its pokeball. The next battle would be the most interesting.

Totodile was pumped up and ready to fight. It launched at treecko with a full power tackle attack and made contact. Treecko fell to the ground but got right back up again. It jumped at totodile and latched itself onto totodile's back. It used absorb and dropped totodile to its knees. Treecko jumped off and waited for totodile to get back up. When totodile got up he charged at treecko. It jumped onto the treecko and used bite taking a large amount of energy away from it. Treecko fell to the ground. It got up and jumped at totodile again. Totodile shot a blast of water at the airborne treecko and knocked it out of the air. It quickly fell to the ground and hit with a lot of force. It took a while for treecko to get up after that but when he did he seemed to be just fine. He still looked strong. He sped at totodile with a quick attack and hit him. totodile was sent flying and hit the ground but not as hard as treecko. Totodile got up again and startled treecko with a growl. Totodile ran at him. The frightened treecko didn't move. Totodile hit him with another strong tackle. Treecko snapped out of it and came back with another quick attack. It missed totodile but slid and came back from behind. It jumped instead and grabbed onto totodile to try and use absorb. Totodile threw him off before he could do anything and sprayed him down with a water gun. Treecko got up and ran towards totodile. Totodile started to sprint towards treecko. The two pokemon collided and were both sent flying backwards. Totodile and treecko were both knocked out . I returned totodile to his pokeball and threw a pokeball at treecko. It absorbed treecko in a red light. The pokeball closed and hit the ground. It shook once. Twice. Three times. *Bing* Treecko was caught. I released the ralts back into the wild after catching the treecko. After praising and healing my pokemon I headed back to HQ. Mission complete.

What?

*Dodges to one side as Brian's Furret charges in for a Double-Edge*
Okay first off, remember that you need to RP in your posts.

Now, to answer your question, you first posted that mission on page 1823 if I'm not mistaken. I graded it. Look on 1825. But then you reposted the mission without making any changes, so I copied the grade unchanged too.

I'm not trying to be mean and I would much rather pass a mission than fail it, but there are limits to my leniency. Please understand that when I fail a mission, I point out why it failed and try to help you improve.
