"Right." The voice belonged to the inn's owner, and he shuffled off before coming back. He opened the door, not bothering to knock, and had a linen sheet. "Here. This would have costed extra, but you paid me more'n enough earlier." That may have explained why he was being generous.

"So, some of us have a wager going on." The owner said, after watching Rei do this for a little bit. "Some say you're his sister, some say you're married, and some say he's kidnapping you, from the way he had dragged you along when you first came in. Which is it?"

Rei couldent help but chuckle "Were Married." She told him making sure the bandages were wraped tight. Kek started to whine and rei quickly reached over putting both the children in her lap. They both calmed once theywere in her lap.

"Eh heh heh... yeah." The guy rubbed the back of his head, laughing sheepishly. "It was mainly the hair... You don't see many people your age that look like that."

The owner was quiet, looking at the child. He sighed, rubbing the back of his head again. "Um, lady, I should probably tell you something..." Bakura's eyes suddenly flashed open, and the man jumped backwards, yelping in shock.
"Ugh..." Bakura's eyes quickly shut once they had opened; he stirred, trying to sit up. He quickly found the bandages when he moved to run a hand through his hair. "What... the hell happened?"

"Son of a-- wait, a rock?" Bakura didn't heed Rei's advice and managed to sit up, only to topple over onto his side. "Who would be primitive enough to hit another man with a rock? A spear of knife is one thing, but a rock...?"

"Well He was drunk...." rei said. "God knows what was going on in that pea sized brain..." rei reached out helping bakura sit up.

"Rei, when I die, make sure it isn't by a rock. Stab me yourself if you have to, but don't let me be hit or crushed by a rock." Bakura leaned against Rei, feeling unstable. He noticed the other man quickly. "Is that him?"
The owner yelped again, holding up his hands and scooting away. "Ah, no, not at all. Your lovely wife killed the man who hit you. Don't worry, his body is being taken care of. I just own this place. Please don't hurt me." The last little sentence was said quickly, like a little note he decided to add on.

"I'm proud of you." Bakura said teasingly. He closed his eyes, his head rolling slightly to the side. For now, he ignored the man, who was edging towards the door to run away. "I don't see why so many people think that of us. It's not even as though my parents..." Bakura froze up, realizing who he was about to mention. Except on a few occasions, he never mentioned his family, and only to Rei. He certainly wasn't about to make some comment about them in front of this guy.
