On the master rank thing, yes. Unfortunately, this sucks for me since I'm automatically a master.... I was kinda digging the whole knight thing... And I've only used 2 powers throughout the entire RP so far...
Becoming a Jedi Master is easy. Just train an apprentice, and viola!
Sith master... eh... Normally the pupil kills the master, but.... I dunno.

What about Dark Jedi Masters that aren't Sith, like Jerec and Brakiss?
And the qualifications for master differ depending on the Jedi Order that you choose to follow.

What about just from experience? Like, a Knight becomes a Master only after so much experience of lightsaber/Force use. To require an apprentice would mean it'd require another Force-sensitive, which is supposed to be rare, and I dunno how you guys do that anymore.

Well, you could set it up the way the New Jedi Order is. One person atop the power strucure who decides who moves up and when.

Well, this is the problem with trying to set this up.
I mean sith apprentice to knighthood is the same as jedi padawan to knighthood. Just learn the 4 skills, one per planet.
Jedi knight to Master is the same as always: Train one padawan... so eh...
Sith Knight to Master: We can't kill off characters... otherwise it would be kill the master and assume the ranks... so we'll have to probably make it the same way, a knight trains an apprentice.
As for Dark Jedi, I'm thinking we'll just say screw that, you can't be one for the sake of making it easier on everyone.

Well, I was thinking it like this.
Jedi
Apprentice- If GA's decide you can be a Jedi apprentice, you'r eapprenticed to someone willing. The way to move up, is after a while, or when/if your Master, or GAs decide you should have Knighthood.
Knight- After training an apprentice to knighthood, you become a master.
Masters are chill.
Now Sith/Dark jedi is messed up, because of the friggin rule of two!
I was thinking that the Dark Jedi would be a legion of the Sith except they wouldnt have the Sith pilosophy, theyd just be dark side weapons so to speak. Except people might complain that instead of "dark side" training they want "sith" training.

I'm going to label anyone on the dark side, "sith" simply due to the fact its not worth trying to distinguish.
Plus, this gives me a chance to rip one of my favorite lines ever.
"You see, they are not really rules, more like guidelines," -Captain Barbossa.
If I was imperious, I'd probably say ******** the rule.

So screw the Dark Jedi, and go straight for Sith?
Really, who doesn't want to be sith anyway? It just means the Sith Lords and Jedi Masters are on equal ground.

How are you guys gonna do Force sensitivity? I mean, will it be 1 per time you decide to allow it, or 2, 1 for Light, the other for Dark? IMO, the latter would be better because that way the RP won't be 1-side heavy, because having 1 for both sides each time will make it so both sides are equally balanced.
