That's the third edition codex, right? Because now I want to update the rules to fifth (*cough* I'd prefer fourth) so I can play with him in friendly games. biggrin And model him just like that.

Yeah, it's from the 3rd Ed book. Update his statline to proper Daemon Prince lines (which really only requires that his save be improved), fix the cost (slight bump up?), and get clearance from your friends.

Especially since he does cocaine.

Yeah. I was really quite surprised to see Doomrider at my LGS a short while back. One of the guys there was using him as a Slaaneshi Biker Lord with Bliss Giver and a Combi-Melta. It was painted fantastically...I just need to get a bunch of pictures of that guy's stuff.

Alright, guys. I'm helping get some special characters ready for my LGS's next big event. For Chaos, given the number of Chaos Players, we need a bit more.
I'm looking for characters of every mark, specifically Lords and Sorcerers. They can have any kind of wargear, and any special rules you can think of, so long as the points are balanced fairly well. Post your ideas here. You can count on it that I'll be posting as I think through things.

Except that, for those rules, it would cost a LOT more. Possibly with some toning down and removal of a few of those special rules.

Warp Scream, ok. And then maybe...MAYBE it'd balance out.

Yeah, this is an oldie for that campaign that kinda failed because one of my friends is a douche bag pretty much all the time rolleyes If you don't think it's balanced still, then I'd also suggest making the Chernobal work only on a roll of six.

Yeah, that's my thought. I'll rework the character sometime this week. The idea was to use the point values from the fourth edition codex, using an unique appearance and still be balanced. It was basically take the Daemon Prince from the fifth edition codex, take about about ten points for taking away that one point of BS, then use the costs from the fourth edition from there. Chernobal = Dreadaxe, Warp Scream = Kai Gun, but with the risks of a psychic power. I might have not added the points right. XD

I'd say to alter Warp Scream to match the points from Doombolt. That would tone it down slightly, but would work out fairly well.
