I haven't posted here in a long time o_O I should probably reintroduce myself.
I'm Nevira. I play clarinet (duh) and attend the University of Oklahoma and major in anthropology. Pride auditions are coming up (the marching band) and so I'll go for that.
I hang out mostly in the Marching Discussion subforum, so if there's ever any questions about marching band feel free to either pop over there or throw a PM in my general direction. cool

Hello! My name is Jamie, AKA: Jammeh.
I've played the clarinet since 7th grade, so that would make 9 years... that's scary.. xd
I've never played in marching bands, but I have played in pep bands, bands, and the Utah Youth Symphony.
I haven't played very much the last three years, at least compared to how much I played in high school. sweatdrop

im a clarinet player at ARMSTRONG HIGH and i am a freshman. I been playing for 3 yrs and this is my fourth and im the best clarinet in my school
im co section leader for next as well, so my junior yr ill b section leader yay.
i have also been in all city and all district events since 8th grade

HELP!!!!! does any body know a site where you can figure out what the different tempo speeds are cause i lost my metronome and i can;t figure out the speeds for an audition piece

hi! I'm kotone, and im 2nd year band, 7th grade. I love band, because my favorite trumpet player sits behind me (hes hot! lol), our band director Mr. B, looks like Justin timberlake, people are stealing his batons *cough anna cough*, daniel got stuck in a trash can, fuzzy got his hair stuck in his trumpet, and tanner tripped over his sax strap and fell onto lindsays sax, breaking it.
good times. blaugh

Gaa I fluctuate but I'll reintroduce myself.
Hiya I'm Jennifer I'm in the NCHS band and I'll be in 11th grade next year which means I've played my clarinet 4 years.
I've been in concert band, marching band, pep band, and jazz band.
I tried region band and got last chair in my room (that's the last time I listen to my bd when it comes to clarinet region music)
I'm so glad to see so many clarinets. We have a grand total of 3 senior clarinet players. we would have 6 but 1 moved away 1 had to focus on her grades and 1 left us for chior T.T and out of the 3 seniors left 1 of them is drum major so for marching season we only have 2 marching seniors
But yea we recently had a mini band camp to help us learn the marching music for next year. We split into sections and out of what 13 incoming freshman clarinets only 4 bothered to show up to the camp. That was very discouraging.

I've been playing clarinet since 4th grade and i have just recently graduated Baldwin High...
I've been through a lot with my clarinets...
1. domokun Gator bowl
2. xd A cruise (performed in bahamas)
3. heart MACY'S heart (never will forget how cold it was)
4. Disney's Magic Days
... i was in symphonic band, Marching, Wind Ensemble, and Woodwind ensemble. Also musical pit...
since i am going to a business school i will not be able to play in a band through out college... rolleyes

Ello all!
I'm Catherine (at least, that's what you all on here should know me as ^^) and I play le clarinet. I've been playing clari since 6th grade... so about 5 years now (I'm going into 11th grade -- I'm in summer vacation right now). I likeh it lots. ^^

woo... I'm a clarinet of six years at Palatka High School. There are three of us that are tied for first chair because the band director doesn't care -_-... trying out for dm next year :3 I'm a Junior at the start of the school year next year. :3 Clarinets rule! 3nodding
