Yes, would be more comfortable to him because he is used to those kind of streets. Don't understand where the confusion is coming from? His life style is adaptable to any environment and a mansion has too much space he won't be using.

The confusion is stemming from my personal curiosity and my need for you to give an explanation. Housing areas are assigned based on biography and personality as well as some personal look. So the fact that yours is a successful owner of an online pottery business and doesn't have a past of living on a poor estate - only that he was emotionally neglected by his family, makes me confused.
Thus, I asked.
I can't see inside your head.
So I don't know what your character is supposed to be other than what you supply in the skeleton. ; n ;

I'm making a steady one that's for sure. Fortunately the doctor's say I'm regaining my speed and mobility back rather quickly, so it's more just a waiting game on my pelvis fractures healing. n v n

He gave up 90% of his business to his business partner. Money he gets from clients go to his retirement. His future is to own a pottery/wood repair shop. He lives alone with just one pet and a mansion is too much space for him. Very rarely gets visitors or guests and he wants to down size whether its moving or tearing down a part of the mansion.
