It was an odd trait, considering the harsh winters and difficult environment. When life was hard, doubt was a luxury the herd could ill-afford. But it wasn't the sort of uncertainty that cost lives, not those the herd believed mattered at least.
Because she was very, very good in fights. It wasn't just endurance and raw strength, many of her fellow totomas had those in spades and then some. She excelled in fake-outs, in misdirection, in making them believe she was going left when she was really going right for the throat. She became known for it, and is constantly honing her tells and body language. Always leave them guessing.
