The Recorder set the TT Device to search the planet for the strongest 'magical' power source. Again, the noise of the machine roared as it started to dematerialize, and then re-materialize in front of Van and Mala.
(The TARDIS is in the shape of a tree. Also, Anime, you still haven't edited the Recorder's appearance.)

Mala looked in, looking rather embarassed at what she saw. "I suppose, but not any of the nice inns we've been staying at. At best, it'll get us a shabby excuse for a room. That is, unless you all want to blow the rest of it on one fancy room - making all of us share it instead of having our privacy."

The Recorder stepped out of the TARDIS, and his face darkened when he saw who he had materialized in front of. "Oh, boy. You two again. Well, nothing to be done about it. Come on inside."

"I don't really know you. I have no reason to want to know you. Therefore, I see no reason to follow you inside your magic treehouse." Van said simply before proceeding to walk around the Recorder and his machine.

Mala looked between the time traveller and her love, wondering for a moment why there was so mistrust. Then she remembered why, pretty much everything that's happened to them so far.

Suddenly, the Librarian departed from behind the Recorder, having been incredibly busy reading, and was immediately fawning over Angel and the baby (who were both moving after Mala and Van) and then suddenly said, "You know, I think your baby is the most adorable thing I've ever seen." This made the girl giggle happily and the Librarian smiled as well.

"Nonononononono! That plan was to get this thing working! I've got an entirely new plan, now!" The Recorder sighed as the god and Mala walked away. "Look, just come inside, and I'll show you. It has fantastic living quarters!"

The Librarian glanced at him and pulled out her TARDIS key, and locked it. "It's my TARDIS, Recorder, and I don't think I like you doing what you please with it."

The Librarian gave him a condescending look. "Well, I'm insulted that you assume I wanted it repaired. I'm perfectly content, thank you very much, whatever shape my TARDIS is in as long as the library is intact."

The Recorder's face contorted with rage. "You are insufferable, Librarian! You're only interested in your books! These people need our help, as well as a place to stay for the night! You can, at the very least, let them stay in your TARDIS for the night!" The Recorder paused. "Wow. I really have changed, haven't I?"
