"I'm half-vampire, half-incubus. Don't worry about feeding me and please, please don't offer me the other's blood packets or whatever. I'm on a strict diet of eating for an entire week after every century," Tex responded softly before shaking his head slightly. He sat back up straight, his wings slipping out of the slits in the back of his shirt, before pushing himself to his feet so he could kneel slightly in front of Melody. "You're too kind for your own good, Melody. That's what makes you so unique and any guy in your future would be lucky to have you." He stood back up and flashed her a gentle yet sad smile at her. He softly began humming a rather saddening tune as he suddenly shifted his eyes to a wall behind him.

It was shocking news to know that he really was a vampire, as well as an incubus. Melody had only heard of what an incubus was vaguely, so she had no clue what they did. "Well, I, er...." Her thoughts were all jumbled up and she was thinking hard of something to say. "Well how long has it been since you last ate then?" She was already flustered, and when he moved to kneel in front of her she was even more so. This man was just a bundle of confusion to her. When he began to speak she felt the heat rushing to her cheeks. Melody never thought of dating. Even the thought of getting married and having children never crossed her mind. She enjoyed helping others too much for her to think about it. "What do you mean by saying that?"

"You'll understand when you're older. As for how long it's been since I've eaten, it's been... Six years," Tex answered with a light smile. Would be seven if someone hadn't have reversed everything. "Just remember what I said 'cause I might not be around when that day comes to repeat it. If you come up with any questions you'd like to ask me, feel free to ask."

"You make it seem like I am a little girl! In a couple of months I shall be an adult, you know. Anyway, I have another question now, how old are you?" Melody sighed as she stood up herself. "Well, I guess as long as you eat eventually. I don't like the thought of you starving," she murmured to herself, her eyes dropping as she began to smooth the creases in her dress. With a final pat she stood up straight, though it didn't help her small stature, and placed her hands on her hips. "If you are talking about me getting a boyfriend then you are thinking wrong. Who ever said I have to have one? I, for one, do not want one." Even with being so sweet and caring, she was adamant that she would never deal with a man in that kind of relationship.

"*Είσαι ακόμα παιδί σε σύγκριση με μένα, Melody," Tex responded as he flashed Melody a light smirk. "As for my age, let's just say I'm your age times a kajillion. I was born a long, long time ago and I haven't really kept up with the numbers my birthday having passed me by."

(Oh yeah, I totally just randomly remembered! I put up a new picture and stuff for her house. :3 Go tell me what you think. xP)
The language that Tex spoke was stunning to Melody and she was speechless for a moment. She had always wanted to learn another language, but her interest was always with learning different instruments. Plus the times she tried she got too confused. She blushed when she realized she couldn't understand. "What does that mean?" she said softly. She gazed at Tex for a long time before she sighed, her hands slipping from her hips. "I guess you know what you're talking about then, but still... If you're so old, then how did you get stuck in this situation?"

"It's Greek for you're still a child compared to me, Melody. Technically, most people are still childlike compared to me," Tex answered casually before shifting his gaze at the floor and starting to mess with his tail nervously. "I overused my magic and wound up comatose without being able to set up my barrier to keep everyone away... It was actually my older brother's fault for attacking me so suddenly. I woke up several days after on our way to the market and if I tried using my magic, I got shocked which hurt like heck. I figured I'd stay for a little while so I could recharge and until I find out that they're back on my trail. If I use overly powerful spells, the people looking for me will find me faster thus the reason I use small and simple spells."

Melody's lips formed "Oh" as she dropped her gaze. It was very true if he was so much older. In fact, she was probably like an infant to him. It was sad to say the least. She inhaled deeply as she went to sit back down in the chair. She pulled her legs up beside her and laid her head on the arm of the chair, staring up at Tex. She listened to his story quietly and nodded when it was appropriate. "I'm sorry you had to be stuck here... You should be able to go wherever you want and use all your powers." She frowned and shook her head. "Well, you are allowed to stay as long as you need." She smiled gently as her violet eyes looked up at Tex.

"Not actually. If I used all of my powers... I could entirely destroy this planet without batting an eyelash. I have to keep about ninety-five to ninety-nine percent of my magic sealed away thus I have these strange scars here on my entire body," Tex responded rather bluntly as he pointed at one of the scars on his neck that had once shown a light blue in the past-future. "I do thank you, Melody, for letting me stay here. It's very sweet of you. I will ask you not to do one thing and that thing is, please don't touch my tail... Or my wings."

(Man I effing love myself sometimes. xD I scraped my finger on the lock to my door and when I realized it I went to look at the lock. Sure enough a thick slab of skin was stuck to the lock and I burst out laughing!~ And all the while I'm talking to a friend about owning the goose room in the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!~ <3 I'm so crazy... :3)
Melody lifted her head as she stared wide-eyed at Tex. It completely astonished her to think he was that powerful. And he had to hide away in her home. Wait... Why would he need to hide if he was indeed that strong? Even though it confused her she kept her lips sealed and laid her head back down. She looked at the scar and managed to nod. "Wow, they look almost like some secret language or something." She giggled as she thought about the princess in the Disney movie Atlantis. When Tex thanked and requested something from her she simply nodded and smiled sweetly. "Alright, I won't then." The voices seemed to hum in joy as they mocked Tex, knowing something that he didn't. Finally Melody voiced her worry of the strange noises. "Is it just me or can you hear those weird noises?"

Zip it or else your line will come to a screeching halt with the death of your precious Melody, Mabel and Phancy Phantasia. Don't tempt me into letting Texenius out. "These marks are actually the first language to have ever been in existence. If you're questioning as to why someone as powerful as I should be hiding, put up an army of cockroaches and that's your answer. No matter how many times you kill them, they always come back."

Melody listened curiously to his answer and became slightly confused. Were the voices like some kind of frequency that only they could hear? If that were it, then she was definitely confused. There was nothing that she knew about that Tex and her had in similarities. The thought of them being in her head would not be going through her mind for quite some time.
The voices began to make a commotion, without Melody able to hear, and began to buzz with nervousness. 'You wouldn't dare,' one seethed with a rattling tone to it's voice. Their voices began to rise before all were suddenly silenced. A particular voice whispered in a gentle and sorrowful tone, 'You would kill Melody even after you said you meant her no harm? How disappointing to know... If you find us so irritating then you may leave. Only a devil can awaken an angel, and you are not that devil.' She didn't like to be so rude, and especially since she didn't explain herself, but she couldn't risk it.
Melody was a little surprised she had gotten it right. She was just trying to mess around. She smiled as she raised her head a bit. "I think they are amazing. I have never seen anything like that." At the mentioning of cockroaches she made a disgusted face. She loved all animals, but spiders and insects were a complete different thing. She also knew the habits of them as well. "Well that must be extremely annoying! A pest problem following you everywhere... I can't imagine anything like that!"
