"Yes me," The brawny man said to Alnette, stroking his shaggy beard, and began sipping the expensive wine. His gaze averted back to Emma, his eye's were emotionless, and yes the mouth moved agitated."Ah, my kind didn't start out as hell spawn, such derogatory! And you accuse me of these things,fah!" He laughed in the brawny man's voice.
He grinned at Alnette's naive use of the necropolis, and continued laughing. But he soon grew impatient. The boy, was nearby, but hidden.

"You shall not have the boy." Emma replied tersely, eyes flashing with restrained power.
There was a strange echo to her voice, more of her magic escaping through odd places.

"Why the hell are you here?" Her tone was cold and did not even slightly conceal the fury she felt towards him. She closed her eyes, concentrating. If he made one wrong move, he would be certain to regret it.

Remus became faintly aware of the strange vampire that had entered the Tavern. "Huh. That must be Vaswedes, the guy I've heard so much about." However, these thoughts were quickly swept away by other things.
"Well...things are easier when I know you're alright, Kaok. Tiny road bumps and potholes can still cause flat tires, you know." Remus thought that sounded stupid but he couldn't think of any other way to put it.
"Can I ask you something else then, Kaok?"

"Do you madams think I am as so stupid as to come here myself?" The brawny man, said in the brawny man's voice rather than his own. The vampire whistled, and continued."And why do you defend him dears? What use is he to you?" He cocked his head like a marionette on loose strings.

Spent my days with a woman unkind,
Smoked my stuff and drank all my wine.
Made up my mind to make a new start,
Going to california with an aching in my heart.
"I am alright," the Faun said simply, sincerely.
The Lieutenant ignored the urge to reply 'you already have asked me something else' or 'you can, but may you'. She was only a closet pedantic most of the time.

The doctor emerged from the shadows, holding his head. 'Damn, can't travel through shadows without getting nauseous. I'm really getting weak.'
He approached Vaswedes, scowling. "My lady, is this tick bothering you?"

"He shall not be for long, I can assure you." Emma said to Question before turning back, stretching out her senses.
She sought to snap whatever hold the vampire had on his puppet.
And had more than enough power to do so.
"He is of no particular use to me, but I will not allow you the satisfaction of having him."

"Farskon is like a brother to me..." Alnette growled. In fact, she had adopted him as a brother, but she wasn't going to tell that vampire that. Instead, she closed her eyes and attempted to follow the hold he had on this 'puppet', to see if she could find his location.
Alnette looked at Grey. "We can handle him ourselves."

As if injected with a powerful tranquilizer, the doctor's face relaxed. "Oh, well then I'll just get myself a coffee." He sat down and ordered his least favorite beverage, sipping it quietly.

Remus opened his mouth but the words didn't come. He tried to force them out, but they refused.
"Never mind, forget it. Perhaps I'll ask you at a better time." Remus muttered. His throat felt dry and he took a sip of his drink.

"Ah the lot of you are such an uptight folk," The brawny man said in Vaswede's tone."I hate to admit it my good sirs, and madams, but I am in no condition for a fight." He shrugged, and added."And don't worry elf, I'll sever the bond myself, as you seem to be having trouble, goodbye my friends."
The brawny man, suddenly blinked, his eyes shining again. He looked around confused, and then he froze. "Wha?-" The free man asked. He gasped, as life left him, being drained by an unknown force. And then he fell dead.

Kaok looked down at the ground, suddenly her hooves had become infinitely more interesting. And then she realized - if she couldn't bring herself to tell Remus anything, neither could he to her.
"I might be half-human." She said suddenly, not looking at him. "That's the crisis I was dealing with."

As soon as Vaswedes had severed the bond, Alnette could no longer try to track his location. "Damn it! I was close to finding him, too!"
She calmed down shortly after, looking at the corpse on the ground with a solemn expression. "What a pity... Used as a puppet, then killed. This poor man deserved more than that."
