Without making the slightest movement a barrier stopped Melody and Kusargi's frozen spit. "Hmph....such rowdy hostages..." with that he raised his hand then brought his pointer finger down and an unseeable forced pushed Kusargi and Melody back to the ground. "Don't try anything funny. You may be sages but you're still just pathetic humans. I don't want to kill you, but don't think I can't make your lives miserable!" he snapped at them.

Kuroi clentched his fist. "Exactly....damn you father!" He stood up and began to pace. "This changes everything....how are we to charge the castle and rescue those two when they were part of our only hope?!" he said, diswraught.

Yuure, who had been smiling slighty at Shina's pain, just got had an idea. "Master I've got it! The army doesn't know that we betrayed the kingdom, which means as long as we cover up your death mark we might be able to make our into their ranks and swipe some armor, where we can give the rest of our group to disguise themselves."

((I may or may not be on next week due to health issues, it's gotten so bad we have had to cancel my wedding so..meh, I'll try.))

"So, I'm confused you `made` this `Rain` ho-" Diia began the confusion and curiosity getting the better of her, she was cut off by a sudden gust of wind that she recognised.

"...Morning," The aristocratic tones of the wind spirit descended from a near by tree, "you may want to hurry, Zeng has made a move and Chronos, I am rather disappointed in you, surly telling them of things that are going on is permitted.?"

Kai glanced at Sugar, "That's fine,my body heals faster then a normal human."

Zemes wandered along behind them, "Earth is just as fast....but you'll just refuse my aid since you're so stubborn." he sighed and shook his head, "I know you understand my reasons boy.. and if I brought you then you'd say it was my fault for getting you involved."

Kai averted his eyes, Zemes had hit the nail on the head...Kai would turn anything against the earth spirit because of his unwillingness to accept something that invaded his thoughts.

((Emmm, what happened to Debido? Were they supposed to have followed Chronos too?))

Zemes didn't want his host betting too badly burnt he'd quickly set a thin layer of condensed dirt around the boy. He put out the fire once the two of them were through and followed via earth route seconds later to pull Kai out when he felt his vague barrier fail. Dropping the slightly burnt boy on the ground, "..you do know that your attitude will get you killed one day.."

Kai glared at Zemes, but didn't move because it had been hotter then he'd thought. He started to struggle a bit when some of the ground sort of ate him, leaving only his head visible. "What the hell are you burying me for?! I you weren't a spirit I'd kill you.."

Zemes sighed, "You can't do much if you're half baked, stop complaining and let me heal you.." the earth spirit was slowly growing tired of his host.
He glanced over at the others, waving a friendly hello as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

"Then go ahead. What do you need me for?" she stared at the King with disdain. She wanted Kuroi to find her quickly, but things weren't looking good for that. "And what exactly did you take us for?"

Damn, she thought. And the hawks were her finest work.
"Eh, they'll probably melt before they get to where they need to be." Now that she wasn't using her powers, her strength was returning.

Melody sensed no awkwardness. She was not as good at picking up social cues as Xepher. After following Debido closely, Melody could tell by her raised sense of hearing that he was carrying something, "Debido... What are you holding?"
