"The leader sent me to find you," the boy said. "Why do have a human with you?"
"It's a bit complicated," Garin said, brushing off the question. "What does Cassandra want?"
"She wishes to know why you left without saying good bye," the boy said. "Does this human have something to do with it?"

"Muon, I think you're a little too interested in her," Garin said, crossing his arms.
"My apologies," Muon said and bowed again. "Will you be returning to the family?"
"I do not think so," Garin said. "We need to stay on the move."

Cyrwys gave another little whimper as she overheard their conversation. She tried to go back to her food, but she still seemed upset and worried. Were these vampires all after her or something?

"I will inform the leader, how unhappy she may be," Muon said.
"Yeah, sorry about that. Just blame it all on me," Garin said.
"I will," Muon said with a very slight smile. He bowed again.

Cyrwys nodded a little. "Why are you so...polite?" she asked. She wanted to ask him why he was acting like only a servant even to her, but she didn't want to offend him.
