Out of nowhere, the fire alarm went off. Bells were ringing loudly, and the sprinklers turned on.
The civilians began to file out.
James looked around in confusion. "What the hell?" he murmured to Nathan. "We should probably get out of here."

Blaine covered his head to minimize it's ability to get wet.
He looked at Z, "Think that's Karl?"
He backed away slightly, aware that Z had a lightning mysticker.

He felt dangerously close to passing out. Any more exertion on his part would undoubtedly result in his blacking out.

Anatoly rested for several minutes, then began to freeze the water very slowly - rather than an explosion, it'd be a slow expansion. If he felt too fatigued to continue, he would stop.

This method worked much better. Anatoly heard the lock creaking, but it would be a while. He had about six minutes before the lock broke from within.

Z twitched as he felt the water. He quickly shoved his hand, and sticker, into his back pocket. Not sure whether or not it would electrocute him when he got wet. "I have no idea." He stated simply. "So, why are you guys trying to kill this Karl guy?" Z asked looking over at Blaine.

They were interrupted as a long line of people stormed down the hall on their way out. They began to get swept along.
