[Ack! There's two of us beside our posts! Dx]
Karin blinked several times, trying to distract herself. After a moment she looked away, but then realized he was talking. She didn't want to seem like she wasn't listening so she looked back, again finding herself looking into his eyes. She told herself it probably wan't that uncommon a thing for someone's eyes to change color, so she tried to ignore it and accept it as normal. She refocused upon his words again, taking them in. Her ears drooped as she realized what he said and she glanced down for a moment and then back up again. "Oh..." she said softly, then went back to staring into his eyes, almost as if transfixed, especialy now that they seemed to glimmer.

"What about....other family?" HE asked still wondering what she found in his eyes that made her want to look at them. He did not know that they'd changed color and so he did not expect for them to change in the first place. The look he was getting was confusing him a little and though he was familiar with it he'd never looked right back into tat particular sot of gaze. He kept himself from raising a brow but moved a bit still looking back at her as he had been...trying to figure it out.

Karin shook her head, still staring at him. "It was just me and my parents. I don't know why, but I never saw anyone else. Maybe they were avoiding us or something, since I was always getting into trouble with the local gangs and stuff." She frowned at the memory and finally pulled her gaze away for a moment, looking down to the ground below them. "They probably didn't want to get mixed up in it, so of course no one came forward to take me in after my parents died." She sighed, but then shrugged it off. "But it's fine. I'm sure I would have hated living with them anyway..."

Suka felt a short breath of relief begin to excape him as her gaze left. He stoped it though and swallowed listening to her as she spoke and frowning a bit as she looked at the ground. "You can never be sure about those things.....that they did not come forward could have been a good thing...but I'm prettty sure that you would not have been happy with poeple that dd not even make their appearance until your parnts death anyway. It won't be a very happy thing if you ever meet them will it?" HE asked noticing he as rambling slightly again and stopped himself short of another question as he saw that his point might have been lost if he said much more...if it wasn't lost already.

Karin nodded slowly, considering his words. "Yeah," she said after a moment. "I don't want to see people like that, or live with them. If they wouldn't even offer support until I was left all alone, I'd rather just not see them at all." She smiled faintly at his last comment and nodded again. "I don't think that meeting would be too... pleasant," she mumbled, ears flattening back in a threatening manner. But she realized this and pushed the thoughts away, allowing her ears to perk again. She sighed and rubbed at her eyes before leaning her side against the trunk of the tree, plopping down now so she was actually sitting on the branch instead of crouching.

He thought for a moment looking through the trees at the sky as she continued to talk. He listened to her words but id not think much on them until after she sat all the way down. "Sometimes....it's better nto to have any family...but other times it's horrible...don't you think?"He asked returning his gaze back to her from the sky and raising a brow in waiting for a response. He never seemed to think about family when not around others...and even though it was just them he felt it was enough that he could think on it...just for now.

Karin nodded slowly, considering the question. "It's very lonely," she said after a moment's pause. "-to find yourself suddenly alone. But I'd rather keep all the memories I have than just never experience them at all. So now, I can look back on everything I've done, the good and bad." She paused again, bowing her head and laughing faintly, almost bitterly. "But if you never had a family, you wouldn't have all these memories and longing to bring you down all the time..." Then she slowly pulled her legs to her chest, holding them in place with one arm and setting her chin on her knees. Her other hand was set against the tree's trunk so she wouldn't fall.
[I'm going to watch a movie.. ><;; Will you still be here after?]

He listened to her quietly and looked at her with his head tilted after she finished. "I know...just what you're talking about...just wish that I knew why things like this happen. Slaughter.....Murder...even accidents are horrible. If I didn't know better I'd try and find someone to blame."He said andsaw her knees. "Memories...can be dealt with though....if you really want to forget then they can be taken from you." He said now talking matter of factly. His eyes looked her over as sh sat there and still listened for the people from before. He kept silent afterward ready for her reply.

Karin kept her head bowed slightly as she heard him speak, ears drooping against her head. She flinched slightly as he said the word 'murder', her tail curling around her waist. She raised her head again at his last comment, then shook it quickly. "No, I don't want to lose my memories," she said softly. "It's all I have left of so many people, and I don't want to ever forget them. That would be... horrible..." Her voice trailed off at the end and she set her chin on her knees once more, eyes closing for a moment.

Suka nodded, "I'm sure that's ture...for now though I just wanted you to know about them....Memory Wraiths they call themselves. They're really good at doing the whole memory deletion thing...I think even some of them can make something happen out of order according tosomeone's memory...they are very interesting." he said and smiled weakly. "If you ever want to forget something go to one....or some to me and I'll show you to one...I'm always here for you ^^"

Karin listened quietly, eyes widening slightly as she took in this information. This was all new to her. She'd never heard of anything that could erase your memory, or parts of it, besides amnesia or something. She considered it for a moment, thinking of the good and bad sides. It was possible, it sounded like, to removed only bad memories. But, people learned from mistakes and she didn't want to forget something important without realizing it. No, she'd keep her mind intact. She looked up suddenly at his last words, face flushing faintly red. But then she smiled softly, nodding. "Thanks..." she murmured quietly. It'd been a very long time since anyone had said that to her.

He nodded and still smiled weakly. "Yeah.....no problem..." H said hesitant of whether to start off in the direction of the noises again...for now he would not. The eacful quiet was very enjoyable for the moment...he noticed her face had flushed red and did not really know why but he foud her eyes as she'd looked up now and looked in them as if her was looking through them into her mind. Making it feel as if he read her thoughts through them...as if he saw her feelings-and whatnot

Karin blinked, tilting her head slightly to the right as she saw the weak smile. She wondered why he never really smiled, and why it was always that little half one. She was going to ponder it more when she realized he was staring into her eyes. She blinked, but didn't look away and simply stared back. She once again found herself wondering about the color change of his, but it didn't last long. She felt like he was looking right through her by looking into her eyes. She shifted slightly on the branch, but otherwise didn't move, except for her constantly flicking tail.
