Kuro stood in the middle of the alleyway staring down at the five dead lycan bodies piled on each other. He then bent down and stabbed a note onto one of the lycans backs with one of the other lycans knife. The note read:
Dear Lycans,
It is time for your death!
Yours sincerly... The Shadows

"David, I had no intention in the first place of telling anyone. The rumors are bad enough." She crossed her arms over her chest. "I understand why you did it. This Lycan... she's so small. You felt the need to protect her. I can respect that and not kill her. And as for the club... I've been left behind before. I don't take it personally anymore."

"To be honest Aithne, I'm glad you're not against me on this. I was pretty sure that rumours would have been spreading like the plague across the Coven, so that's why I'm heading to a safehouse for a while, and let things die down. i hate to ask this of you, but if you could, it would be greatly appreciated if you could somehow help to quell these rumours."
David sighed, he really hated to ask that of her, especially since he barely knew her. At least he could somewhat hope that she was on his side in this messy ordeal. So much was happening all at once, it made David feel bewildered and slightly overwhelmed. [So much at once, I need to try and slow down and sort things out.]

Nikki had been staring straight at Aithne, like a deer caught in headlights. In a daze. She hadn't quite realized what was going on. Then it registered. David knew this female vampire. He knew her, and she wasn't about to shoot him.
They were talking, and she wasn't participating. She figured that she had no interest in jumping in. But being the way she was. She couldn't let a conversation go on without atleast one snide remark.
"Oh, is..she your...date?" Nikki smirked. Then let a small frown take over. Was she..is she..his lover? No, why would he protect a lycan girl if he had other means of getting his needs Met. EEEEWWWWW! Did I just think about...gross..No..I never thought about that.. Nikki kept her disgusted thoughts to herself. She was perfectly aware that people did that sort of thing all the time.
She'd had her share of experiences. But as she aged she ended up sounding more like the 16 year old that she dressed like. Curious and disgusted in one breath and any other 'side effects'.
Nikki just sat and watched the two. She was pretty. Perhaps they were old friends, Lovers, or...Maybe they were siblings..Naw. Whatever story they had together. Nikki was curious about it..Too curious.

"How do you think I knew about this Lycan? Rumors are spreading. I just choose not to listen." She paused as he asked her to stop the rumors. "I highly doubt I can do anything about them though... after all, I am just a Deathdealer. And you know how those rumors spread. I'd love to help but I doubt I can do anything about that..." Aithne stopped again as the girl gave her remark, and gave her an almost bemused look, but not responding. She just looked at David like 'Your pet, you answer her'.

David buried his face in his hand, then looked to Nikki. "No, she is not my date, she is a friend." Once more, David let out a sigh. Seems he'd been doing that certain motion for a while. Turning his attention back to Aithne, and feeling relatively embarrassed, he made a weird face and grumbled lightly "I figured as much, thanks anyways. Well, I don't want to hold you up from whatever you were doing before, and I really would feel bad if I got you involved in this, seeing as how it is my problem, and more than likely, there will be a number of our fellow Coven members out to double check these rumours, so I suggest you make haste away from us."
He smiled, patting her shoulder as he walked past, "Thank you Aithne."

She followed him. "Tch. I'm not giving up on this action. I'll tag along and help. I may not have much say in the Coven, but I can at least help security-wise. I've got nothing better to do anyway." She smirked at him and Nikki. There was no way on earth she was going to miss out on this, or end up being the hunter.

Nikkis frown got larger. Her remark was taken badly. That happened alot with her. She often laughed innapropriatly. "I see"
Nikki continued walking with David and their new companion, wondering how he was going to get the Keys from the coven if the rumours were spreading so fast..I mean, he could walk in there and then get surrounded by a bunch of angry vampires.
"David..How..are you..going to get..the keys?"
Nikki pondered for awhile. Well, one thing was for sure. No Lycan packs over here would accept her easily. Even if they didn't know who she was. Word was sure to get to them. The Lycan who walks with vampires.

Meanwhile, deep underground in a complex system of caves, sewers, abandoned subways and the like, long forgotten by the surface world, a different, hideous, kind of Vampire crawls out of a lower, even longer forgotten level of the works. It smiles at the floor of over populated rats. It bends over, picks one up with its clawed hands, sinks its fangs into the rats body, and quickly drains it. At the sight of this, the other vermin begin running away.
"Stop." It says, its voice deep and harsh, and the rats obey, "Come." Again, they obey, gathering around its feet as much as possible, even crawling on top of each other to get closer. It kneels down, and picks up another rat, which quivers out of fear. "Where am I?" After a moment, the rat finally manages to screech out an answer, and the horrid creature cracks a wicked smile.
"Tell every Vampire in New York that can understand you, that David, The Ugliest Nosferatu, is looking for them."

"Well, Aithne, it could get pretty dangerous if things get out of hand. I'm just worried that you'll get expelled from the Coven. Or worse. But if you insist, do follow, the safehouse is not far from the start of the residential district. We just need to keep an eye out for trouble."
He smiled again, another genuine smile, something he'd found rare to come by, but for some reason, he really felt like smiling. Either it was because he was finally allowing people to get closer to him than before, or it was the rush of the moment. Either or, it felt nice to really smile.
"As for the keys, Nikki, I'll just stroll right on in, and act completely oblivious to what they're saying. If Aithne here feels like it, she can be my alibi at the Coven, I could say I was out feasting on some poor old lost tourists with her or something. Speaking of feeding...." David's eyes squinted lightly, the pain in his stomach grew into his chest and would be ignored no longer. He hadn't drank blood in days, not even from his own supply. Which he had in his chambers at the Coven. [Damnit.]
"I need to feed. I'd rather have gone from my personal supply, but I am sad to say it is not with me right now. Come on, let's go. I'll drop you off there, then I'll have to go and feed before going back to the Coven."

Aithne nodded. "I knew the risks when I didn't shoot you. I'd rather die helping you then go back to the stupid Coven." She smiled back at him before nodding again. "Good plan. And while you feed it might be a good idea to actually attract alot of attention from vampires, so we have more then one witness to our story."
